Hôtel situé en bordure du quartier chinois, constitué d'une série de petites maisons alignées le long d'Eskrine Rd, petite rue en pente ; les chambres sont desservies par de longs couloirs parallèles à la rue. Les chambres à l'arrière n'ont pas de fenêtre mais ce n'est pas un problème. Personnel très prévenant, propreté et confort impeccables, journal le matin, parapluie à disposition (utile !), pantoufles... Petit déjeûner fabuleux (surtout en mode buffet : découvertes exquises). Nous n'avons pas eu le loisir d'apprécier le fameux restaurant sur le toit. Emplacement très commode : proximité des principaux sites d'intérêt du quartier chinois (le + proche, Temple de la relique de la Dent du Buddah), métro à 7-8 minutes. Notre satisfaction a été complète.

bon emplacement entre little india,arabe street et buggis qu'on peut faire à pieds,metro à la porte,,seules les chambres extérieures avec vue sont acceptables et il en existe des petites et des plus grandesSalle d'eau petite et douche minuscule..La grande piscine est froide car toujours à l'ombre,ambiance stalinienne,peu de chaises longues..Ascenseurs très lents à certaines heures.Petits déjeuners pas terribles.Internet cher,10 dollars les 24h à utiliser en une seule fois. bon entretien de l'hôtel.Réception hall de gare.Personnel peu souriant.Chambres pas grandes mais confortables,coffre fort,frigo bouilloire thé et café,draps et serviettes de qualité changés tous les jours.Galerie marchande juste à côté,boissons,sandwiches et restos rapides.En résumé pas mal pour Singapour.

hotel situé dans Little India, le quartier est très bruyant surtout la nuit, notre chambre était située sur la droite de l'hôtel, bruits dans la rue incessants boules quiès indispensables. Sinon rien à reprocher à l'hôtel, toutefois le prix assez élevé ne tient pas compte de ces nuisances extérieures.

une attraction à lui tout seul.....à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte, même si vous n'y allez que pour une seule nuit. Prenez une chambre cityview avec une vue à couper le souffle ! Quant à la piscine accessible aux clients, c'est vraiment spectaculaire. Le Top !!!!

Pour notre voyage en famille, nous avions choisi cet hotel par hasard mais nous avons ete tres agreablement supris; tres bon hotel avec un bon accueil et un tres bon personnel, tres bon emplacement aussi pour les sorties restau-bar a clarke quay. Notre sejour s est tres bien passe et a coup sur je retournerai a cet hotel pour mon prochain passage a Singapore. Mais je dirais que cet hotel serait une tres bonne destination plutot pour des jeunes celibataires et familles sans enfants par ces activites nocturnes aux alentours, beaucoup de restaurants, bars, shisha, nightclub... et tout ca a 2 pas de l hotel.
Situation

"A very pleasent stay"
After the initial glitch at the check in, everything turned good and we had a very nice 5 nights stay at the hotel. The breakfast was good and room service was perfect. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location, in the heart of the main shopping area. It is a large hotel and a little confusing with the different wings and lifts. The room (Orchard Wing) was on the small side, but nice decor. Breakfast restaurant always busy and over crowded. Check-in did not go smoothly as they tried to up-sell to another category. "Super convenient but untrained personnel"
This was my 2nd visit to mandarin orchard, the first being and pleasant however this time it was unpleasant. I chose this hotel for its location at mandarin gallery, close to Somerset and convenient. Amenities were good too. However this trip was abysmal. The staff didn't have my room prepared on time, spoke rudely to me when i enquired why.. this was […] initially not a problem as we went out to eat.. however after a long plane ride we came back after being told to come back in a hour only to be told again the room is not ready The staff in this Singapore hotel have lost their touch with customer service.. jot even admitting that they were at fault. They took advantage of our tiredness...should've paid more to stay at Marina bay sands.. on top of this 3 hours after dozing, a staff member opens our door and turns on all the lights in our room.. apologises and doesn't turn the lights back off. We didn't ask for anything!. this hotel has just too many issues.. don't bother with your time.. my overall rating is based on the lowest score Lisez la suite

The Orchard Mandarin, is a wonderful luxury hotel, and is a good value for both the business and leisure traveller. The location is a Shoppers Paradise, with all the World Luxury shops only a few steps away. WONDERFUL A++++++

"Stay At Mandarin Orchard"
Its a hotel for holiday tourist mailny, so if you are there for business this is not the right one. staff were polite however housekeepingw was bad . Just barging into rooms after one or two knocjk with no concern that there might be someone inside the room.
we were very happy with our stay and were overwhelmed by the attention from the staff and the way they ensured are needs were met. they were smilling and pleasant and very professional. it was a real pleasure to stay there and hope to visit again some day.

I stayed with my daughter in mandarin orchard for 4days.the location of the hotel is fantastic.the malls and mrt are 5minutes walk!!the staff is extremely courteous and helpful.Room was fantastic.will recommend this to anybody looking for a hotel in Singapore.

Not a bad choice. My only complaint was the constant smoke smell in my non smoking room.
The hotel was everything you would expect from a five star hotel the staff were exeptionally friendly, exept for the indian check in staff they were quite rude, but a lady called Isabel checked us in and apologised for our treatment all of the Singaporean people were fantastic Also the english gentleman manager was a great help, I would certainly stay […] there again. "Proximity - An Advantage"
It was certainly great that the room was located on the newly furbished "Orchard Tower". The experience would be close to perfection should the hotel be able to manage the peak hour traffic at check-in, check-out and breakfast.

I've stayed at Mandarin hotels before and never been disappointed, but the Mandarin Orchard I found to be a let down. Room rate was very high. Staff in general is rude, particularly the cook staff at breakfast. Parking is expensive. First room I had was not well maintained with paint coming off the walls and ripples in the wallpaper. Upgraded to Meritus […] and had to wait for 30 minutes for bellman to come help us move as they were on break. Then he showed up without a luggage cart. Meritus room was small for the price. - This time had to wait until 16.00 to get the room! - As always, the Concierges at check out are very, very slow. Usual waiting time to get the luggage from the room to Taxi is about 20 to 30 min. - Otherwise, the hotel is well located and the room service very good and friendly

1. the hotel phone # is wrongly stated in Hotel.com It is a local resident #. 2. The latest check out time is 12pm. Our flight is 8pm and the hotel do not have sofa or resting area at the lobby so it is very tiring.

i arrived about 10.30 am the room that i was booked for is not ready so i was told to return at 14.00. because i have to wait the receptionist told me that i will received the complimentary upgrade to club room and the room already book for at the 16th floor. at 14.00, i returned only to be told that my room is not yet ready and so i have to accept […] my original room and the complimentary was void. although dissapointed but atleast i received the room that i have paid for. the location is superb and very convenience to downtown. The big plus of this hotel is its location on Orchard Road (the heart of the Singapore shopping), however, in terms of service and amenities, it is extremely average. The workout room is poorly laid out and very basic, our movie stopped part-way through, a call for an extra blanket was ignored, an unnamed insect was discovered flailing on its back in […] the morning, and there is absolutely nowhere to sit in the lobby or by the rear exit while waiting for a taxi. This is very unfriendly to the elderly, the disabled or those exhausted by "Singapore shopping frenzy". The Mandarin-ORchard hotel staff are the real selling point of this hotel...and the location. Staff were always polite, helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I was on a work trip and my mother spent the time while I was working around the hotel and in local shopping centres - Madarin Orchard is handy to the main shopping centres […] on Orchard Road. Room seemed a bit tired in decor - some bathroom mould and poor grouting - but in the main the room was appealing. A great stay for both of us. Staff are fabulous, friendly and warm. Stayed in Orchard Wing and got a 'luxury room' which looked as if the decoration was copy pasted from an Eastern European state owned hotel in the seventies . Got fooled by the 4,5 customers rating which it is totally unworthy ! Never will stay there again .

Their service is one of the best I have ever seen. They kindly open the business centre for me even though it is outside the hours. Very convenient as well as the hotel located in the middle of Orchard Rd, everything is a walking distance.
