très bel hotel d'extérieur comme à l'intérieur , malheureusement la chambre n'était pas du tout au niveau pour un hotel 4 étoiles: chambre minuscule, très très bruyante avec un comfort pour le moins spartiate, heureusement la réception a bien voulu nous changer de chambre, qui était plus calme et un petit peu plus grande mais d'un comfort très médiocre: […] télé des années 50, meubles très basiques, lit petit et salle de bain minuscule: lavabo de la taille d'un lave mains et toilettes à 5cm de la baignoire. Très agréable séjour à l'hôtel MET: chambre propre, comfortable, même si petite. Quelques suggestions, l'éclairage faible, économie?! et la télévision à l'ancienne. Pas de bonne isolation. Mais vu le prix très accessible, la qualité est très bonne.

L'accueil est excellent (aide pour visiter la ville, impression de documents, ..) Seul problème: Internet n'est prévu que dans le RDC (Zone réception de l'hôtel).

Nice hotel staff very good ,booked a double got single room

This hotel is a favourite of mine as a regular business traveller in Leeds. There's only a handful of hotels that have a great location in the city centre, are reasonably priced, have friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and overall has a safe and cosy environment. You can usually find a good deal online.

I booked a twin bed room - only to find that when we got there they only had a double left. The hotel reception staff then agreed to add an extra bed to our room - but when we returned from shopping we found a small camp bed - not even big enough for a child. We complained and were subsequently offered two single bed rooms - on different floors! As […] we were away from our young children for a rare meet up and night out we were VERY disappointed. We were told by the manager that the mix up was their fault - because there were a few hen/stag dos staying in the same night - I guess they were given priority over room choice - even though I had booked in advance over the internet and had selected a twin room. clean comfortable and affordable.Could do with a few more digital tv channels to enhance the stay.

Great location.Individual stlying,beautiful building.For same price as the chain hotels in Leeds in my opinion streets ahead. Did not eat in hotel so cant comment on food.After reading reviews on trip adviser about floors 5&6 phoned hotel and was given room on second floor,recption very helpful. Room was small but adequate for price paid.

OK, I got a relatively late and cheap deal in a single room, but for such a nice hotel, the shower unit in room 404 disappointed me and completely let the place down. I'm not a fussy person, in fact I'd go so far as to say barely discerning, but the shower was not only pretty grotty but also not possible to change the shower head flow. While the staff at the hotel were charming and helpful the rooms are of questionable quality and I was trapped in a lift for 10 or 15 minutes when its doors refused to open. I was also very disappointed with the level of cleanliness in the bathroom in my room on the 6th floor. Cannot fault availability and customer service, but a few niggles cast a bit of a shadow over my stay. The bathroom shower could only give luke warm water. The room internet didnt work very reliably. The public areas of the hotel on the ground floor were bright and clean tho for the duration of my visit were given over to exhibitions with nowhere for my friends and I to sit. My friends who accompanied me were booked into a room for disabled persons without explanation tho were re-roomed when they complained. My friend is 6'3" and had to kneel down […] to see into the mirror, also the bathroom basin was blocked. My single room was dingy(overlooking the car park) with only three coathangers, and hanging space restricted due to an enormous fan sitting in the bottom of the wardrobe. The hotel is located very close to the train station, and very close to the city centre. The staff were excellent and very accommodating, and the hotel is fantastic.

It was very noisy the floorboards were creaking from 2pm onwards from the rooms above me.

Although the room was small, and the bathroom a bit dated, it was perfectly ok for a one night stay for work purposes. The bed was very comfy, and the breakfast very good. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in the immediate surrunding area if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

Very nice hotel well situated, good value for deal we got. Small issue with leak from back of toilet which took more tha 24 hrs to fix. friendly and helpful front desk.

Very convenient for station, central Leeds, restaurants and shopping. I have stayed at the Met several times and have always felt very comfortable. Service is there if you need it,but never intrusive. One of my favourite hotels in Leeds and I will go back.

The foyee and public areas of the hotel were clean and modern and the restaurant was reasonable quality. The staff were very efficient and well spoken. The room was small and pokey, lacked double glazing and not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel but I expected this given the cheap rate I was paying. The springs in the single bed were so soft […] I had trouble staying in it and the window also rattled in strong winds meaning I had to pad it out with toilet paper as a temporary fix! Maintenance work was being carried out on this floor so hopefully, these minor issues are being dealt with. My only major complaint is that one nights sleep was ruined by a large and loud event which continued until well after 12:00. After this, event goers continued the party in their rooms being very loud and inconsiderate. Staff responded to a complaint fairly quickly but I would have preferred it if they had been more proactive. Noise continued at a lesser volume until almost 4am despite staff asking politely that the unruly guests respect the other people staying. This night was an exception and for the rest of the week, the hotel was very quiet with little outside noise noted. The location was just about perfect for Business needs being very close to the Railway Station and whilst I had my issues with 1 night of the stay, I would reccommend the hotel on the proviso that it may be worth checking that there are no large events planned as rooms facing the inner courtyard area of the hotel are quite susceptable to noise from the function room. For two mornings, the wake-up calls were late for 8-10 minutes. Housekeeping knocked on my door at 8am to do cleaning. Worse still, the wooden sash windows are so worn out that they are not sitting tight at the frame. My stay were windy days and the sashes kept banging and knocking all night! The breakfast is definitely not 4 star. Juice is extra-diluted […] squash. Tea was served without milk and tea spoon. And they ran out of yogurt on the third morning. Lisez la suite

Room was a little shabby and I was woken by very loud bin lorry at 4.30am so moved room and standard was better.

The staff here were excellent. I mistakenly booked for the wrong day and they did everything they could to help me resolve the issue. The hotel is very modern-looking on entry but the single room I stayed in was very dated, can't complain too much for the price though. One thing that does really need looking at are the floorboards in the rooms. I could […] hear people walking around 3 rooms away, and as some people were coming back late it became very distracting. I needed a half-decent hotel to stop over in Leeds for a night out. The location was perfect - a two minute walk from the lively Greek Street area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean, although the bathroom could have done with a bit of maintenance. If you need to park a car, spaces are very limited and I was […] lucky to get the last space for a £10 overnight charge - cheaper than the nearby Railway Station or NCP. I only paid a flying visit, but staff were very flexible and understanding of my needs. I visit Leeds regularly and never stayed here before, I'll definitely be back. Only issue was been woken a couple of times in the early hours of the morning but you'd expect that with a city centre hotel anyway.

ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT BUT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE THAN HAPPY TO STAY LONGER. THE MET WAS WELL UP TO STANDARD AND WE ENJOYED OUR STAY. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THE MET LEEDS

Excellent front staff and management. Really good breakfast buffet. Room wasn't that big and TV was dated. Bathroom spotless and modern enough, bright.

i stayed in this hotel for two nights,the rooms or a little small but very clean . good self service breakfast staff very friendly.id stay in this hotel again.

The public spaces are very grand-sweeping staircases, large restaurant with waitress service at breakfast and so on. I had a huge tiled bathroom (warm but a bit chilly on the feet) but the room itself was rather pokey and claustrophobic. There are other hotels in this bracket in Leeds that provide better.

This hotels purports to being modern twist on a traditional building however its just tatty and sad. Some of the staff are ok but the general look and comfort is poor, not as expected. The hotel and room were perfectly clean and the location of the hotel was ideal. However I had asked for a single room but was very surprised how small this was. There was an ironing board but no space to put it up and when this was in the wardrobe it meant that there was very limited space left for hanging up clothes. I have stayed in a number of hotels […] in Leeds and this is the first time I have had a single bed in a very small room- the room rate was comparable with other hotels I have stayed in. Comfortable hotel. The breakfast was well below standards expected for this type of hotel. The continential breakfast consisted of some fruit (not all fresh fruit) and toast. The cooked breakfast was given to guests on cold plates and there was little left to chose from despite it being 8.00 a.m. When complaining to a waitress we were told that someone […] would be with us shortly. Couldn't get food one night because there was a wedding on and couldn't even order room service. This was a bit of a dissapointment, but overall the hotel is clean, tidy and well maintained considering the age of the building. The hotel was great for a couple of days, had all the essentials (e.g hot water, clean room, good service) but the downside which caught me out was the fact that whilst it has a car park they now charge for it and it ended with a £20 bill at the end of my 3 night stay - other than that I would definately stay there again but i'll get the train next […] time.
