Short walk up the hill to the base of the mountain. Beautiful Queen suite. Pool being renovated but wouldn't have used due to the cool weather in April anyways. Hot tub could have been more turbo (supposedly will be when renos are done). Problem with fridge in room and had to call twice to finally get it replaced. Staff pleasant otherwise. Stayed there mid Jan 2012. The location was excellent, only steps away from the Gondola. We initially booked the King Jr. Suite w/ balcony, but upgraded to the signature spa on arrival. Best decision ever! The room was extremely comfortable, well equipped, well decorated and certainly worth the price of the upgrade. Great hotel. Safe and right in Whistler Village. Friendly Staff.

We were so impressed by the hotel's location (less than a minute from the two main Village gondolas), the quality of the room and its facilities and the service we received last year that we had no hesitation in returning for another 8 nights this season. whistler is expensive - bars and eateries and cigs

The Hilton was walking distance to the wedding ceremony at Whistler Golf Club. The reception was at the Hilton, as was the hosted morning breakfast buffet and the food and service was excellent! The staff from greeting us curb side, to everything in between were warm and helpful. There is no way this hotel is a 4.5 star rating...very old and really needs some serious updates especially to the rooms which were pretty much like a $100/night best western even though we got the king suite which you would think would be a little nicer. Not worth the money and won't be going back.

This is a nice and neat hotel, it's very close to the village and the blackcomb mountain. Very convenience to shop or eat.

The Hilton is right in the village and walking distance to everything you need in whistler. We found the room and ammeneties a bit basic for a fairly expensive hotel. It is practical and comfortable but not luxurious.

I have stayed there three times and have ALWAYS had a GREAT experience. The hotel is very convenient to everything in the Village. The staff treats me as family. I will stay there every time I go to Whistler!

We found that dogs in hotels is inappropriate. We do not appreciate surprises re: parking should be included with your hotel stay. We ended up having to pay an extra $150.00 on top of the hotel stay. You pay for a room which is expensive enough and the parking is not included (ridiculous). We had a problem with the heater in our room and they sent us […] up a baseboard heater for warmth instead of trying to find us another room. They could come up with another room but we would have to give up our mountain view for a view of some hotel roofs (on our wedding anniversary). With regards to hotel staff promptness we had a situation of a motorcycle being run in the underground parking for 20 minutes on the day of our departure hence choking on exhaust fumes while trying to load our car. We told the front desk about this and they seemed to just ignore it and not correct this situation. We were also told that we would have a decent size balcony and it turned out to be really small, barely enough rooom for two people. Would not recommend staying at this hotel. Really enjoyed the hotel: service, quality and location. My only issue was the pool which was almost impossible to swim in given all the kids in it. Plus you need more chairs for busy times. Next time I would ask for a room away from the pool because of the noise.

Our stay at the Hilton in very enjoyable, close to all amenities, great fitness room and comfortable room. The front deck was service oriented, respectful and accommodating. We would gladly stay at the Hilton again.

The service was great even though there was a huge event occurring on the day that we arrived. When we wanted to play music, room service delivered a DVD player to our door. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable with several mirrors making it easy for our group to get ready. Overall a great stay.

Make sure you are NOT on the side of the garbage pick-up by several hotels as from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. you will NOT be able to sleep. Hotel, rooms are excellent. Restaurant is not in par with Chateau Whistler. Would only stay here again if rates were low and the hotel could ensure NOT on the side of the garbage pick-up. Rooms are not cheap and to be inconvenienced […] with the garbage noise, would deter anyone from staying here again. Lisez la suite

My overall impression of the Hilton was Excellent! Couldn't have asked for more! First of all, I pretty much booked last minute for a night's stay in a premier location (Whistler), on a long weekend. Was surprised to get this hotel booked AND get a KING size bed with kitchette when I arrived! My family consisting of two young children (2&4) loved the […] pool and the "hot pool" beside it (hot tub) :) At the time of booking, I got a room with two dbl's but asked for a king when I arrived so that was a bonus! I also got early check-in too, so the day was going in the right direction! The only surpise for me was that the parking was $27! Ouch! I think that hotel.com and other sites should incl. these extras either in the price of the hotel or show it on the side for those families who are on a budget (kids!) Oh well, my luck was going great so why sweat it! Anyways, our room was right near the elevator AND it was a short distance to where we parked, so it was easy to get up and down without breaking a sweat! not going to get into specifics regardign the stay but I was very satisfied and will look to booking again with this hotel in the near future! special thanks goes out to the girl who booked me early with a king size bed with no extras fees (I think? i'll have to see my cc bill to confirm this! lol) Lisez la suite

Large comfortable room inc. kitchenette, private courtyard, & mountain view. Enjoyed the hot tub after day riding bikes on the great paved trails to nearby lakes. Fun to see the mountain bikers in town for competition. Would recommend and return to Hilton.

Everything is acceptable except daily parking fee $27 per day is quite hefty.

The staff in this hotel were very friendly. They made us feel welcome.

The reception gave one of my distant friends a key to my room without my permission. They did not ID him, and he used a fake name as well. This could had been anyone, therefore putting all my valuables at and safety risk. This hotel does not take its security seriously.

Stayed three nights. Service was wonderful. Room great - large, lovely bathroom, kitchen facilities including a big fridge. Location could not have been better for the gondolas to Whistler and Blackcomb mountains - literally 30 seconds away!

GREAT location, very nice hotel. Bar downstairs was a young locals hangout, which we found entertaining, others might not. Good ski rentals and storage onsite, very convenient! Staff was friendly and attentive.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Each staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and special. The location was great and very comfortable.

The Hilton at Whistler was in a great location...right next to everything but very quiet. I read reviews that other hotels were noisy. The room we rented was very spacious with a full kitchen. When the fridge broke down, they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom suite and threw in some food and beverage vouchers. Also the bar has daily food and drink specials […] which were great because Whistler restaurants tend to be a bit expensive. Lisez la suite

Nice place, snow removal with heavy equipment in the Village at 4 in the morning was brutal though. Not the Hotel's fault but kept us up for an hour. Be sure to check with the hotel about rates first. We found out they would have charged less than what we paid through Hotels.com!

While most of our stay was comfortable, we did take issue with the attitude directed towards us by the concierge one evening. When approaching the concierge for recommendations for a restaurant which offered sports viewing opportunities, the response to us was: "well, what's wrong with our bar?" The tone and facial expression was one of dissapointment, […] as if the concept of guests dining outside of the hotel and within the marvelous Whistler Village was unacceptable. She did end up giving a few random suggestions, and we ended up eating at Earl's, a promenant, mid-village restaurant which is full of atmosphere and sports viewing opportunities, and a restaurant which was neither mentioned nor anywhere near any of the locations the concierge recommended. Upon reflection after our encounter, we were generally put off by our experience with the concierge. Lisez la suite

After looking at many hotels while sitting in comfortably in each others arms, my "Cherry" and I decided to stay at the Hilton Resort and Spa. From the moment we arrived the service was incredible, they booked all our activities for us and were great at giving directions. The room was set up nicely with full kitchen and beautiful fireplace, provided […] a romantic setting for late night cuddling ;) The king size bed was really comfortable, the body and head pillows were of above standard quality. The whole trip felt more like a honeymoon. I recommend anyone who doesnt mind spending a bit more to head out to this Whistler hot spot, pass your keys to Glenn and go enjoy everything this hotel and area has to offer. Lisez la suite

My Whistler vacation is undoubtedly one of the best ones I've enjoyed, owing in part to the friendly, hassle-free experience at the Hilton. The service and location were top-notch, and the staff was very knowledgeable and professional. We booked 2 nights in the suite rooms which are extremely good. The hotel is connected directly to the main street and perfect to get to all the resturants and gondalas. The spa is nice and breakfast tasty but a little expensive at $26. The only downside was expensive wifi access
