Hotel Euler - Bâle

hotel près de la gare, très facile, très confortable et bien reçu. seul regret : le choix à la carte au restaurant est assez limité. pour le reste, à conseiller

L'hôtel est très bien. Par contre, je vous déconseille de prendre un petit déjeuner en chambre: pain pas frais, peu de choix de confiture, pas de croissant, prix exhorbitant pour un petit déjeuner...

idéalement situé sur la place qui fait face à la gare, cet hotel est pratique. Le service est de qualité sans être remarquable. Om faut noter que le petit déjeuner n'est pas inclu. Celui ci est copieux ( type buffet) même si la qualité n'est pas non plus remarquable. Quant aux chambres, en ce qui me concerne le chauffage devait être bloqué et il faisait […] vraiment tres chaud, l'évier de la salle de bain ( grande, pas de baignoire, douche ) était bouché. Enfin, le lit avait une couette minuscule qui rendait impossible de s 'en servir à deux. Et les couettes supplémentaires dans l'armoire, sans housse, n'était pas vraiment d'une blancheur éclatatante. Très bon hôtel, bien situé au centre ville, mais donc dans un environnement un peu bruyant; service hôtelier irréprochable; atmosphère qui manque peut-être d'originalité.

Despite somewhat cold reception staff, the stay was very enjoyable at an ideal location. With good location, comes a little noise of course and we could hear the trams vibrations till midnight. But overall very nice comfortable room. Would recommend, at a decent price

Fantastic hotel, good services, great central location

Hotel was in a great location. Hotel gave us free transit tickets, which is great as the station is steps from the hotel.

This hotel is very convenient to the train and tram station. I was worried that the noise would keep me awake at night but the trams stop overnight. This hotel is very comfortable,the room was quite nice and roomy. We stayed there after a ten day cruise on the Rhine from Amsterdam to Basel. This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms were clean and of decent size and the bathrooms were wonderful with rain shower heads. This hotel is located right in front of the main transportation hub for the city of Basel and although a bit noisy it settled down at night and we had no trouble sleeping. The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly. […] There is a Starbucks on one side of the hotel and and Burger King two doors down on the other but be prepared they are not your Burger King prices in the USA. We also got a free pass for the transit system to use while we were there and one day we just took one of the trams to the end of the line and back. Got to see some of the countryside that way. Very convenient location-close to Train Station and to the old town. Very clean and comfortable room at a decent price.

This hotel is FABULOUS! Rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful with recommendations and directions. It could not be better situated for public transportation. I wish I could have stayed more than one night.

My frame of reference is as a business traveler but i am bery flexible ...great location tbough hard to find on garmin gps....room non descript and beds not comforrable..would noy stay there again...

I am hard on my ratings as I travel a good bit for business. But the Euhler was exceptional. I had a rental car and they provided valet parking... but if you are traveling by train... it is right in front of Central Station. Easy walk with luggage. This is a fantastic hotel. Quality and service unbelievable for the price.

I found the Hotel very nice. The staff was helpful, location convenient and the room comfortable and clean. It was also spacious.

For the most part okay. Breakfast was not included but coffee machines on each floor. Hard to take a shower; water always ended on the floor. Only have partial shower doors. Very convenient; one block from Basel SBB train station.

Located short distance from SBB, Basel main train station, Euler is an elegant hotel at Swiss reasonable price. There are top quality coffee/tea stations at each floor which is very nice.

This is the second time I stayed at the Euler. It's location steps from the main train station cannot be beat. It has a nice lobby, decent room service and small but well-appointed rooms. However be VERY AWARE that the hotel steps are dangerous and the staff DOES NOT CARE if you injure yourself. I exited the hotel, and tripped on a small 2" step that […] is right outside the main door, and about three feet in front of the steps that go down to street level. I fell to the ground and couldn't stand back up. My friends helped me to a chair in the lobby. The bartender gave me a glass of water and a bag of ice (thanks to him). The remainder of the hotel staff ignored the situation, pretended it never happened, had no concern for my injury or if I required any assistance due to injury I incurred due to the poor design of their facility. When I spoke to the front desk about needing assistance, or cabs to the airport their air on unconcern was palpable over the phone lines. I will never stay here again. I had originally tried to book a hotel in the old town but found the location of Hotel Euler by the main train station to be very convenient. The bus from the airport stops just over the road and catching trams to where we needed to go was very easy as they all stop outside. The noise of which did not bother us at night as all. We slept very well in […] our clean and comfortable room. It was an easy walk to the old town. We enjoyed the tea making facilities in the hallway and the food from the restaurant was absolutely delicious. We only went to breakfast for one morning because we didn't think it was worth the money for what we ate. There is no ramp to enter the hotel which was my only peeve as we were traveling with my daughter in a pram. I would recommend Hotel Euler because it was clean, in a very convenient location, the staff were friendly and the restaurant food was excellent which was great on a cold night in Basel where we didn't want to venture into the night for dinner. We greatly enjoyed our one-night stay at Hotel Euler. Because it was so close to the train station we wasted no time getting to and from it and the historic district in Basel. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, clean and very quiet. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed we've ever had in any hotel in our multiple trips to Europe. Bathroom […] was large and updated with the latest amenities. We appreciated the coffee available outside the room throughout the day, especially in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We asked for and received (at a very reasonable rate) an room upgrade to a Junior Suite. It was very spacious, beautifully appointed and had the most fabulous view. Location was also perfect for us as it was so close to the railway station and tram (without the noise). Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Convenient location near RR station and many tram and bus lines. No need for car. Breakfast is ridiculously expensive, but there are other options in the neighborhood. Other than that I recommend the Euler wholeheartedly.

I'm a bit of a techno geek and while the creature comforts of this room were very good, the technology frustrated me. Bathroom: -Separate shower and bath is nice -Lots of space Living Area: Posh, modern furniture, desk etc Bed: No sheets? Gigantic pillows, all fluff, too much fluff. Tech: 2 big LCD's running some sort of IPTV could only get one […] to show programs. Both turned on randomly throughout night, ended up unplugging one. Modern efficiency meets Swiss charm. Clean, sharp, quiet. Even though the Trams stop right in front, there was remarkably little noise. The hotel sits right across from the train station and is perfectly situated fro business or pleasure in Basel.

Best deal for Business Travels looking for luxurious within (financial) reason.

Sehr gemütliches und konfortbles Hotel. Hervorragender Service aller Angestellten (Portier, Reception, Roomservice etc.). Gesamtfazit: sehr empfehlenswert.

24 Grad Celsius-Zimmertemperatur sind für einen März schlichtweg zu heiss. Matratze könnte mal wieder ausgewechselt werden. Ansonsten tiptop

Um 21.00 wurde ein defekter Ablauf beim Lavabo sofort repariert. Bravo!

Durch berufliche Gründe war ich eher im Hotel, als gedacht und konnte die wunderbare Lounge mit komfortablen Sesseln, aufmerksamem Kellner und wunderbarer Pianistin genießen und werde gerne wieder an diesem Ort weilen! Selbst das zu frühe Frühstück - weil der Flug vor der Öffnung des Tresens losging - wurde möglich gemacht und so nett begleitet! Sehr zentral gelegen. Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet. Ums Bett herum hat es nicht sehr viel Platz, dafür ein Entree wo man das Gepäck und Kleider unterbringen kann. Badezimmer schön und modern gestaltet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in den Hotelinnenhof so war es Nachts sehr ruhig! Frühstück sehr reichhaltig... da bleiben keine Wünsche offen!! Euler ist ein gutes Hotel.Darum war sehr erstaunt über den Zustand der Untertassen im Gang wie die Kaffeemaschine zur allg. Bentzung stand. Sehr schmitzig. Minniebar viel zu teuer,muß man meiden. . Sehr gut das Tiket für die Straßenbahn.
