Very nice hotel. Near Loch Lomond, very nice place to stay. Everybody was very helpful in the hotel. Food in the restaurant was good. Room are nice and leisure club in the hotel is great (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, huge swimming pool, squash etc..). Very nice stay!

good overall standard in a nice part of scotland

Our son was visiting from America and the hotel provided a very comfortable and relaxed short stay. We will be back.

Great location for a quiet get away! Rooms are well equipped. Great food, lovely small bar. Great place to use as a base to explore the surrounding area or to just relax and go for a swim.

It is a nice hotel to stay. The environment is silent so that you can certainly relax there. Also the people there are very nice. One morning when I took my car, I discovered that the rain droplets on my car were frozen. Of course I could not see anything through the windscreen and I certainly cannot drive. Stayed for two nights dinner bed and breakfast. We found the welcome warm, the food excellent and the surroundings lovely. There are other places for eating out in the village, but highly recommend eating in the hotel. The swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym are excellent but didn't make use of the treatments in the spa. We thought these were a […] bit expensive. We would certainly go back and highly recommend the hotel. Excellent Hotel with friendly Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast to start the day, kept us going for walking the mountains. Plenty of hot water to warm us after a wet day, and a brilliant spa to ease our tired limbs.Will definately be back.

We stayed for four nights at this lovely hotel. The breakfast was buffet style and there was a good selection. There is a nice indoor swimming pool and spa area. The rooms were spacious, the only thing we thought could be improved would have been more drawer space. The village has three other places to eat and drink so we were not compelled to stay […] at the hotel for all our meals. Thursday night at the top of the village there were bagpipes and scottish dancers which made our visit very interesting. I wanted a quiet hotel, with a gym, near beautiful countryside while working in Glasgow for a few days. I got exactly what I wanted. Staff were very helpful, same day laundry service and the restaurant was excellent - quick, friendly service. Will definitely stay here again, whether for business or leisure. great hotel! I’m very fussy and everything was perfect! booking up again for Oct 2011. there was a fire alarm at midnight due to some idiot smoking in their room and being 7 months pregnant was not best chuffed being woken up, but apart from that, it was great. staff great, facilities and restaurant fantastic!

Needed a low price stopover for one night.What a bargain when it included a full breakfast,free leisure facilities and lower in price than most chain motels.Staff genuinely friendly and helpful.Room warm,clean,good modern t.v.Pool superb,gym,sauna,jacuzzi,free towels etc.Breakfast excellent,wide choice.Will come again and 5 star recommend.

This was one of the most welcoming and homely hotels I have stayed in.The staff are genuinely friendly and obviously care about their hotel.Even down to the painter and decorator I passed daily in the corridor leading to my room, who was very freindly and helpful and offered information and advice about the hotel and iys facilities. The room was clean […] and comfortable,with the ability to have the room at a temperature to suit was ideal in the cold weather . Although the bathroom was not the smartest I have come across it has to be remembered this is a hotel that has been here for a long time and has character. The bathroom was clean and adequate, and the shower was one of the best I have ever experienced. The free wireless internet in the room was brilliant at 3.5mb who could complain, Breakfast was excellent and the staff were freindly and efficient , I arrived back just after 11pm one night and asked if I could still get a drink at the bar the answer was of course we stay open for residents as long as they want. What a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels I have stayed in . The lounge area had a real coal /log fire which was an absolute joy to sit in front of with a coffee .The fire was wonderful and the lounge was very comfortable. I had a coffee from the bar which was lovely and i would have expected to pay more for it . The leisure facilities are first class and I am sorry I only managed to use the pool once during my stay. I have stayed in hotels in the past which were classed as being of the highest standard but none could beat the friendliest and atmosphere of this hotel. Lisez la suite

Enjoyed a lovely stay in Drymen and enjoyed the hotel very much, however, the room was too hot overnight and the bed was much too firm for a comfortable nights sleep. The heating pipes made a constant tapping noise which kept my husband awake. This was the only fault of an otherwise lovely hotel

good base for walking part of the west Highland way alongside Loch Lomond or Exploring the Trossochs National Park. All of the staff provided a good quality service along with good positive attitude. The pool and Gym facilities very very good we used them most days during our 5 day stay. My wife and i choose this hotel for a getaway break as it had been recommended through a family member who had stayed there.To say we were not dissapointed would be an understatement. Our arrival and check in was excellent ,we were offeed a table in the restaurant which we accepted and thoroughly enjoyed our meal which was accompanied by excellent service. As […] we were on a wind down break it was fantastic not to have members of staff approach although if we ever required any service their was always someone available to help/serve and always with a smile. If i was to comment upon the Hotel in the negative i could only say that the room we had is in need of updating although the bathroom had been revamped and was large clean and spacious. We both enjoyed our stay, would recommend this hotel to anyone,and we will certainly keep this hotel on our records for any future getaway breaks again. Lisez la suite

The hotel was a good 3* although some areas still being refurbished. Restaurant was nice, breakfast had a good choice and was plentiful. Leisure facilities were fine and The Spa was great. Very good value for money.

We had a brilliant stay - very friendly staff and a lovely room. The breakfast was great - all you could want and more. We had an evening meal in the hotel one night and that was very disappointing but that could be forgiven as the service and rest of our stay was super. We would definitely reccommend!

The hotel was great, really nice, friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was a problem and they actually went out of their way to get taxis for us and phone around to find the best deal. Two small details made […] this hotel a '4' instead of a '5'. 1) The light in our room was apalling! With all lights in the room turned on, we were struggling to see properly! My girlfriend couldn't actually see in the mirror to do her make-up. Need some higher wattage lightbulbs or just more lamps! 2) The ironing board was broken and disfunctional - it didn't stand up reliably. Our room was down several levels with a total of 47 stairs then three stairs within the room. No elevator. The assistance offered was the cleaning staff (female). We are seniors and everyday was a chore to get from the room and return in the eve. Duvet was very narrow for the bed making sleep uncomfortable.

We stayed here for one night, not knowing what to expect we were delighted with the choice of hotel instantly when we arrived, the reception staff were friendly and very accommodating, the lady asked if we required a table for dinner and she booked us a table for dinner. We un packed then went out for a stroll, over the road is a path to a view point […] where i got some amazing pictures of the sun setting, the view is breath taking. We headed back later on to the hotel to get cleaned up for dinner, the dinner was amazing, cooked to perfection, the dining hall was really busy, had a little wait for drinks but it was not that long, the food was excellent, cooked to perfection and a good price for the amount of food and the quality. The staff waiting on tables were friendly efficient and very busy, polite and well dressed. In the bar the staff there were lovely, the bar was bright with a big tv, in the lounge area it was was lovely and dimmed lights set a nice romantic feel to the place, mood music set a nice relaxing atmosphere. The room was warm and very comfortable, never needed to use the reception for extra toiletries as i had my own, but if i had forgotton they had it all covered. View from the room was just trees, only dissapointing thing about the stay, the beds were comfy, clean and presented well. Had free internet access in the room which was not needed but i did try it out using my ipod touch and got online no bother at all. The bathroom was clean with clean towels, and plenty loo roll..lol. Never used the spa facilities but it all looked magnificent. Planning to return in October again for a mini break bit longer than a night away this time, just getting the dates finalised and i am definately booking to come back again. For a 3* this is excellent value for money, and i would 100% reccommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great relaxing night or 2 away. Lisez la suite

I stayed for one night on business. I chose this hotel rather than my usual hotel due to the competitive price I obtained through Hotels.com. However, I was extremely disappointed with the restaurant. The service was appalling. I had to ask four times for a jug of water and there was a wait of half an hour between courses. Luckily I had a book to ward […] off the boredom of waiting. I had wanted to take a dip in the pool but, due to the length of time it took to obtain my dinner, this wasn't possible. The food was very mediocre and the menu particularly boring. I came away from the restaurant feeling extremely disappointed. Booked this late break on the Saturday night for a couple of days break from the next day and was a great deal. The room was spotless although not huge but for what we paid was a great deal Spa facilities were good. Unpretentious clean and modern. The restaurant is good too and we enjoyed using the leisure facilities. The staff are friendly, and our stay was superb. Fantastic value for money.

The hotel i exstreme good value for money. the staff is nice and for the price we were surprised that you got so nice rooms and got a pool, sauna fitness ect -it was a really luxery hotel for good money -go there:)

The room was clean and the hospitality tray it's realy kind. The room was spotless, very clean and comfy. Well furnitured. Our room number was 41 so if you are a bad sleeper, than you can hear a noise,b'cos the kitchen or sthing else so the point is the fan working non-stop, so it could do a bit noise, but for us it was good, we were very tired, just […] after a adrenaline rush, and the bed is so comfortable, the sleeping quality is high!! The hotel was central to the places we wanted to visit and in a pleasant quiet location. The package we had was excellent value. The staff were very helpful in assisting with local travel. Of course we will go back again.
