Hôtel très agréable très bien situé, à quelques pas des principaux centres d'intérêt de la ville et des zones de magasins et restaurants/bars - L'ambiance de l'hotel est très détendue avec un lobby agréable (canapés, écrans TV, accès internet libre, journaux) et un petit déjeuner varié. Une piscine et un centre de fitness sont situés au dernier étage (27ème) avec vue sur les buildings et la ville.

Demander une chambre du côté de la rivière, de préférence à distance de l'ascenseur. La vue est impressionnante sur les gratte-ciel qui bordent la rivière, car l'hôtel est dans un coude du cours d'eau et se trouve exactement dans son axe. Rien à dire sur la qualité du service et la propreté des chambres. La situation est parfaite entre le Loop et Magnificent Mile, tout est à portée de main pour un séjour réussi, y compris la boulangerie en bas pour le petit-déjeuner.
"Wyndam Chicago on St Claire St"
This hotel is tired! It needs updating and the carpets need to be replaced. Lots of deferred maintenence. The work out room had no towels and the pool is just a joke. Very tiny area and lots of screaming kids that can be clearly heard into the workout room. It is also right across the street from Northwestern Hospital and I am an ER RN so I heard sirens […] all day/night and had trouble sleeping as I kept thinking I had to get up and do something for the incoming. The hotel was very nice. The hot tub was not working, and after reading reviews it has not been working properly for a while. The concieres were very helpful. The location was great. A frig and microwave would have been great in the room. All in all it was a good experience.

"Great location and price"
I have a formula for hotels.com. I make sure I get the location I want, the hotel has 3+ Stars and that the reviews rate a hotel 4.0 or higher. The Wyndham was probably the best price I have gotten in the USA that fits my requirements. The location is perfect. The security is excellent especially because of the 2 story entrance and cards to use the […] elevator. The maid cleaned the room on our last day very late even though it was our fault for leaving a Do Not Disturb sign on the door--above and beyond service. The rooms are dated but in good shape. I wish that there were less pillows and two that were comfortable. The TV is old but has all the channels. These things would not affect my decision to stay here again. The only thing that was really bad was the heat. No matter what we did, the temperature was NOT controlled by the thermostat and it was noisy. Even when we shut the thermostat off, the fan kept running and it was the same temperature. Sometimes it was a bit cold and it wasn't always warm enough. Lisez la suite
"Poor Condition, Nice Staff"
We loved the location of the hotel and the staff was extremely helpful when we needed them, overall an okay stay; however for what we paid, we had to call on the staff several times due to complications with the room. The first night, there was no air-conditioning, so we had to wait for someone to come fix the issue. The second day we were there, the […] blow dryer burned up and stopped working; again we had to wait for someone to replace that. We paid more for the king than two double queens thinking the suite would be nicer in size and/or comfort, but it was not. The room was half the size, less comfortable, and there were only sheer curtains on the windows so everyone in the hotel across the street could see into our room --fine for people who do not need privacy, but for us, it was uncomfortable. We also ended up paying $160 for parking and never took our cars out the entire time we were there between checking in and checking out, so I'm not sure the price we paid was worth the quality of the hotel. We stayed here when our grandchild was born at Northwestern Memorial due to the closeness to the hospital. It was just 2 blocks away and was convenient to walk. The staff was helpful and the room clean and comfortable. We would return again.

"Great location, but not much else...."
I picked this hotel due to the fact that it is centrally located in downtown Chicago and close to all attractions, but the lack basic amenties have me questioning my choice. There was no microwave in the room, but you could pay $25.00 per day if you wanted one although you can't keep it for an entire 24 hours. They tell you that they have wifi, but […] again there is a cost associated per computer/tablet of 10.95 per day. "Great service, great location"
My husband and I just recently "babymooned" at the Wyndham Chicago. It was amazing! Everyone treated us wonderfully, they got us checked right in upon arrival (12p), the concierge assisted with directions to the train, restaurant recommendations and were very accomodating. I would highly recommend the Wyndham.

"Quick family trip to Chicago"
Hotel staff was outstanding; they willingly "stored" our luggage prior to room being available and on departure day so that we could venture out. Concierge was very helpful. I feel that the wyndham has false informatiom. They say wireless internet available, it's available alright for 10.95 a night, I think that is really sad. The price you pay to stay there and you can't even get free internet. So my daugther and I lugg our laptops with us and can't even enjoy them. The pool and the hot tub are ridulously small. "Very bad service"
For two days, our room was not cleaned, trash cans were not emptied and towels were not emplied. We reported this to the front deks 3 times, but nothing happened, not even a courtesy call.

"Great time in Chicago"
The only complaint I have is that the pool is very small! The kids were very disappointed. We didn't eat in the hotel's restaurant because I won't pay $17.00 for 2 eggs and toast. We have 5 kids so that's a lot of cash for breakfast. But there is a Dunkin' Donuts' around the corner with GREAT coffee and a bakery across the street. The location seemed […] good. Lisez la suite

The roomwe booked was not the room we were given. Emergency entrance to neighboring hospital was right outside the window with ambulances coming all night.
"The Wyndham Hotel in Chicago"
Everything about the hotel was excellant. The only downside is that we were unable to get a cot for the room. Although there was more than enough room for a cot, it was against hotel policy because it is a fire hazzard. We all would have been much more comfortable if we could have spread out more.
Wyndham hotel chicago very conveniently located within walking distance of shops, river, Navy Pier and much more. Very friendly and helpful concierge. Big comfy beds and spotless bathroom. Across the road from the Corner Bakery, handy for breakfast. Would stay here again.

Great hotel! and absoutely great concierge service! Its in a great location and is a very beautiful hotel.
Hotel is right across from hospital so sirens none stop all night n day. The front desk people just check you in and dont do anything else we had to find our room ourselves. The valet parking charge is one of the highest we saw round 54.00. we ended up checking out early and going to the hilton which was amazing service.

Vey nice hotel! Staff was excellent and so was the executive suite. Roman (staff) was awesome. Thanks for the great hospitality! I will make the wyhndam my hotel of choice when I visit Chicago again

Nice hotel, helpful & friendly staff, great location. I would not be concerned about the slightly dated furniture because the bathroom was in great shape and the bed was very comfortable.
