a quelques pas de l'aéroport, service de navette gratuite. L'hôtel est très bien, on n'entend même pas les avions.Par contre la réception est super longue : nous avons attendu plus de 30 min pour avoir notre clef, il y avait une queue de fou et que 2 guichet.

L'hôtel a une mauvaise isolation phonique; on entend beaucoup les avions, très bien les gémissements de la dame d'à côté, ou encore les conversations animées dans le couloir. En dehors de cela, le rapport qualité/prix est bon, navette gratuite depuis l'aéroport et vers la ligne 7 du métro; on est au coeur de Manhattan en 1h.

Bon hôtel confortable avec piscine et jaccuzi - un peu excentré - personnel assez "impersonnel" - bar sympa - navette pour aller jusqu'au métro mais pas pour revenir - difficile de sortir le soir dans Manhattan. Metro Mets-Villers Point et bus Q48 (mais jusqu'à quelle heure ?) sinon à partir du metro prendre un Taxi noir forfait 15 dollars pour rentrer […] à l'hôtel. sinon bon rapport qualité/prix. De façon générale, c'est ok comme hôtel. Par contre, la distance du métro, malgré la navette qui ne fait qu'aller nous porter, est un problème. Confort... question de point de vue!

Hotel was comfortable and the rate could not be beat compared to other hotels in the area. The price for parking was reasonable and they have a parking garage although I could not find an elevator.... just stairs. I chose this hotel because I had flown into LaGuardia Airport on one day and then had an international flight from Kennedy Airport the next day. This is a very comfortable hotel, reasonably priced for the region, with a shuttle bus to/from nearby LaGuardia taking under ten minutes. Orbitz/Hotel are not clear on their web-page about the shuttle strategy […] from LaGuardia TO the Hotel, however (my only criticism), since it runs in half-hour cycles only from early morning to early afternoon - thereafter to be summoned by phoning the hotel and requesting a pick-up. If one just goes out after claiming baggage and waits on the bus island on that level, one will be stranded. A later phone-requested pick-up necessitates taking the escalator up to the check-in level, outside which the shuttle will promptly arrive. Oh, yes - all the hotel courtesy telephones inside the airport failed to connect me to the hotel - so use mbile or pay-phone (if you need and can find one!). Since I was in NY for only one night this hotel was ok for me, but I would not stay for any longer. Beware of the "breakfast" it will cost u $10. If your idea of a breakfast buffet is toast, cold cereal, coffe, and orange juice (and that's all), then you will be fine...

I notice that its no longer called CrownPlaza?...i did have some issues, 1) the day of my check in, i could not check in until 4PM. This threw off my whole schedule. 2) i check in my luggages and when i returned to check in later ...they couldn't find all of my luggages, there was also some confrontation going on between the manager and some guests. […] 3) About 1030PM the room next to me were having some get together or someting and making a lot of noise, i cal the front desk and reported it, this continue all night till 3AM. I recalled when this hotel first open...it was great, i used to stay at the Marriott courtyard, but the Crownplaza was less expensive. I rather pay alittle more and stay at the courtyard next year. The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade to bring it into the 21st century. The room was mediocre and the staff were unfriendly. The furnishings were old and very dusty which activated a sneezing spell. The ceiling in the lobby was peeling off and stained with watermarks.

Good place. I liked the bed, bf did not. Shower made a funny noise when you turned on too much hot water. The hotel itself was awesome. The surrounding area not so much and its far from downtown but super close to the airport so it depends on where you wanna be.

I was disappointed, the condition of the hotel was very dated, my room was not very clean (sticky stuff on the floor). The a/c didn't work, the mattresses were thin and not comfortable. There were no hand towels, my door key didn't work.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and just what I needed after getting in late. The shuttle driver took me straight to Avis the next day rather than back to the airport and was very personable. I appreciated that he went out of his way for me. The breakfast buffet was a good deal. Yes, the property was older, but I found it more than adequate.

I had to do a one-day trip and flew in late to LGA and then out late the next night. Perfect when you just need a clean, safe place to sleep during a quick business trip. A few minutes from the airport with free shuttle service and town cars to the city. Would recommend for business travelers.

It's not a good hotel surrounding neighborhood. There's nothing but airport and highways -- not even a convenience store in sight. The hotel was clean, basic and comfortable. However I was disappointed in the old TV sets that come with the room, especially since I had just come from another hotel that had two HD flat screen TVs in the suite. The front desk staff (Lisa) and the Bar / Lounge staff were great. The room was a complete let down from the small CRT television, uncomfortable King size bed, and filthy ancient 80s tub faucet and shower head. I seriously didn't event want to take a shower.

Older interior. Friendly staff. Quick check in and the burger was very nice! Of course, you will choose this place given that it a mile away from LGA but never, never miss the shuttle which runs 24 hours and every 15 minutes. I missed by a couple of minutes and the livery cab costed $15 for that mile.

I knew from previous reviews the hotel was dated and that was not a concern. The staff was very helpful, the food was good, close to the 7 train and airport....a distance from Manhattan but the price was worth it. The mattress was way to soft for me and the pillows were a joke. I had good service when we pulled up to our hotel, someone helped us with our luggage right away. I give this hotel a 'fair' rating, certainly not impressive though..There were more reasons why I wouldn't stay at this hotel again than any reason why I would consider it again: This hotel has a very fancy entrance, but the room we had was absolutely nothing […] special. The beds had cheap looking metal frames... They looked to me like something you would pick up from K Mart, but I could be wrong. It also had an old tube TV in the room. Granted, we didn't even watch TV and that's not critical.. but when you stay at a hotel that isn't the cheapest one out there you just expect a modern tv in the room, for the price you pay. Also there is no complimentary coffee in lobby.. I know some other hotels are like that but I can't stand that cheap stuff they put in your room.. Granted, New York hotels are outrageously expensive all around, but for the price you have to pay when you go to New York, I certainly want more of a hotel than this one.. This hotel is down the street from LGA airport, and that is the main reason we picked it.. But there are other hotels not far from this one. I would recommend considering those ones first.
