It took forever to get to this hotel. They said it was close to the airport... But it's not. The room are clean, and the breakfast is good, and staff is pretty friendly. But it is so noisy. Hotel had great service and very tasty breakfast-good choices. Though it was located near the eastern edge, it was right off the interstate which made traveling to different parts of the city very easy. Room was clean all of the time and overlooked the pool. We travel from Las Vegas to Amarillo, Texas about every other year and usually drive the 1000 mile trip straight through to save money. This year we decided to make the trip easier by dividing it into two days so we picked Albuquerque for our halfway point. The hotel was great. The location was easy to find, staff was friendly and quick about getting […] us our room, the pet friendly policy was greatly appreciated because we travel with our dog and it's not always easy to find a nice hotel that will accept pets. The room was comfortable and quiet. If I have any criticism at all it would be that the beds could have been a bit more comfortable but by no means were they bad. The breakfast was excellent. Very late in cleaning room next day (1:30 p.m.). Squeaky bathroom door and didn't like the light/fan combination.

This is older Holiday Inn Express in a questionable neighborhood. While we were there, Keys to a car were stolen while our friends were packing the trunk. The hotel security was less than helpful, and police even less. The room was below average and noisy. The toilet was slow and eventually backed up. the rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable, check in ands out was very pleasant - great ladies. the pool was looking a little cloudy but the hot tub was COLD. the eating area was very clean and lady was very attentive.

Overall the hotel met or exceeded my expectations. However, I would like to see improvements made in the sauna, jacuzzi and pillows. The hot tub was way too hot the first night (possibly 108 degrees) and then way too cold the next night (possibly 98 degrees). The sauna was not very hot and the seating was damaged and splintered. The pillows in the room […] were flat and lumpy and really made it difficult for me and my daughter to sleep. Other than that, the breakfast was outstanding and the staff was friendly and helpful. Very disappointed. Advertised as pet-friendly and had to go across the street to find and area to walk a small pet. Had to go outside--32degrees--to get to the "indoor pool and jacuzzi" and the jacuzzi wasn't even warm. The pet and pool were the main reasons for the selection of this location--both disappointing!! This was the best hotel I could find on the western side of Albuquerque. It is on hotel ave. along with several other hotels brands. The others are more budget brands. This Holiday Inn Express has a nice lobby, pool, breakfast room and the rooms are great. Where to begin? At check-in, I advise the clerk that I have two cats with me...shouldn't be a problem as the info at hotels.com AND holiday inn website both say pets welcome. She immediately whips out this form and tells me I have to sign acknowledging that if I leave my cats alone in the room at any time they will charge me $350. What??? That little […] policy is NOT mentioned anywhere. I would have gone elsewhere. At that point I had just finished ten hours of driving (with two cats= not fun) and knew it was too late to cancel the reservation. This seriously ticked me off. I had dinner plans...wth am I supposed to do? Take them to the restaurant? I went back down to the desk to tell them their policy stinks and THE SAME LADY turns around and says, "oh that only applies to dogs....i never said it applied to cats" Uhh, YEAH YA DID, and you told me to sign your stupid form. So, after I complain she removes the form. Now lets move on to the room. The door lock took storethree to four attempts to get it open EVERY TIME I tried to unlock it...the door wasn't plumb to the jam so it would stick. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, towel rack was hanging halfway off the wall, and the bathroom fan didn't work. I also found it to be totally ridiculous to have regular bed frames in a "pet-friendly" room. Where do pets hide when they are stressed out? Under the bed. One person trying to retrieve two cats from under two queen beds....not fun. I guess I assumed most hotels these days did pedestals. Long story short this place was short on quality and long on pretentious attitude. CAN'T RECOMMEND. Lisez la suite

Staff was very accomodating! Wasnt sure about the area, but proved to be fine and easy access to highway. Thanks so much!

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was great. Few blocks to interstate. It was quiet for sleeping. Could walk to many places near the hotel. Food, shopping, etc. The morning breakfast was wonderful. Great selection of things to eat. Gave us a good start to our day. I would return.

2ND STAY @ THIS HOTEL....WILL DEFINETELY STAY THERE AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.....GREAT COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST!

I was very satisfied with my room at the Holiday Inn Express. The desk operators were friendly, the room was very clean, AC worked great. There was a crazy lady trying to scam hotel guests in the parking lot, but hotel security was right there handling the situation. This is a pretty nice hotel. The rooms were older and a little smelly but the beds were nice. They provided a very nice crib and the breakfast was really good. Overall I would stay again.

The non-smoking room that we stayed in had a very strong oder. It smelled like a cleaning product and was very overwhelming.

Hotel was nice, neat, and clean. Conveniently located off of the freeway. Breakfast was Great! eggs/pancakes/biscuits and gravy/etc . way better than the usual free continental breakfasts other hotels offer. My only issue was that when I got to the hotel there was this male walking around the parking lot. When I was going up to my room, I encountered […] the same male knocking on the wrong door of a room @ 1am. Great location close to all and every need. Pet charge was not mentioned during reservation. Outstanding, excellent, services and pool area!!! Hot tub was super!!! Will return to this hotel. Kind to pets!!!!

The only complaints I have is that the A/C unit was very loud and the pool was overrun by a bunch of unsupervised juvenile delinquents. Owl Cafe is within walking distance.

We had a wonderful experience in our recent stay. The room was in great shape and we enjoyed the facilities very much.

We arrived late but was greated with smiles. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again if passing through again. Indoor Pool was great for the kids.

Not the quality of a Holiday Inn Express very disappointed.

This hotel is nice and is convenient to the freeway and the National nuclear museum. The free breakfast was beyond a normal continental breakfast and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

This was a very cozy hotel. We had a very clean room, and our stay was very comfortable. Our room had a mini fridge and a microwave, but my brother-in-law's room did not have a microwave. So, if this is an important amenity for you, be sure to request it. Great location in Albuquerque!!!

Nice hotel, would stay again, good location to things & to highway 40 East & West; & a great restaurant within short walking distance, The Owl Cafe.

I walked into this Holiday Inn and knew that they would have comfortable beds and excellent linens. The staff was so accommodating, even helping me (and others) use the business center.

Poor customer service at the front desk. Our reservation was not as expected and rather than take responsibility to help us us, they just blamed hotels.com and said they could do nothing about it. They spent more time telling me how horrible hotels.com was, than helping me resolve the fact that we didn't have enough beds. they tried to charge me for […] a roll away, which I didn't think would fit in the room, since it was extremely small. The girl at the front desk assured me they do it all the time and that maintenance would set it up. Maintenance just threw it in the front door of the room blocking our entrance with all the luggage. We had to rearrange furniture ourselves to try and get it in the room. Air conditioning didn't work well and the room was extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. No elevator so you have to lug all your luggage up stairs. We only were staying one night and couldn't get out of there fast enough. Room was extremely small, bathroom was small, front desk was not helpful at all. Never again! Lisez la suite

We were in town for a wedding. We chose this hotel because it was closer to the wedding venue. Our room was very clean, quiet...great bed and good shower pressure. The neighborhood is very convenient, numerous restraunts and shopping very near there. We would stay at this hotel again!

The location is easy to find. The neighborhood is very quite. The staff are helpful. The breakfast room afforded a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a nice simple meal.

I've always had great luck with Holiday Inn and this hotel was consistent. Very nice and clean.

your personnel were highly respectable, everything was explained... breakfast times, things going on around the area and your Inn is centrally located to everything i needed.

We found it quite odd that we had a balcony to the indoor pool, which didn't close until late, so there were some nights that it was a bit loud, but outside of that, the hotel was decent.

Room was a little small, there were 5 of us in a 2 queen and we got a roll away. It was close to the university and cheap, that was the most importatnt thing. Would stay there again not bad for 1 night.

Had to clean the TV screen, very dusty. The Bar was closed. Very bad area.
