Hôtel, délabré, chambre vétuste, malgré la bonne volonté des employés, l'hôtel est comme laissé à l'abandon.

Nous avons séjournez 1 semaine avec ma compagne et mon fils de 3 ans et demi.Le palm hotel est un peu ancien et mal isolé au niveau du bruit dans la chambre c' est vrai , mais sinon le personnel est très agréable à l' accueil et les dames qui s' occupent des activités... qui ont pu nous écouter et nous comprendre par rapport a la langue francaise qui […] ne conaisse pas. De plus l' hotel est situé tout proche du dowtown centre ville de nassau avec tout les restaurant Senior frog, mc do ,dunkin donut.....magasin ...et surtout la plage bleu turquoise devant l' hotel en traversant une rue qui est un peu compliquer à traverser car c est un peu dangereux, pas de passsage pieton. L' un des seul hotel avec inclus le petit dejeuner pain griller, chocolat; lait frais; café;jus d'orange, pasteque , melon, cereales... Petit déjeuner très convenable. De plus le prix inclus les taxes local et gouvernemental est très interessant par rappport aux autres hotels très couteux des bahamas. L'hôtel est bien situé, avec la plage en face et le centre ville Nassau à 10 minutes à peine à pieds. Mais vraiment dommage, l'hôtel est très sale, les chambres ne sont pas nettoyés tous les jours (en tous cas la mienne), les couloirs d'accès sont affreux et sales, le balcon avec vue sur mer n'a jamais été nettoyé et les restes de cigarettes des clients […] précédents sont restés au même endroit durant tout mon séjour d'1 semaine avec en sus une serviette sale. Cet hôtel bien placé (10 mn à pied du centre-ville - 15 mn à pied de Arawak Cays où l'on peut manger "local") pèche par la très mauvaise qualité du service et l'asbence de propeté des chambres, des parties communes (escaliers-restaurants). Les tarifs attractifs n'expliquent pas la vétusté des lieux, la malpropreté, le même petit-déjeuner tous les jours. […] L'accueil du personnel reste cependant correct.Je déconseille pour un séjour de plus de 2 jours. Certaines chambres sont tout simplement dégoutantes, la première qui m'a été attribuée était sordide, j'ai du insister pour avoir une autre chambre, presque convenable cette fois. Mais les moquettes sont très sales, tâchées de toutes parts. Sinon, il faut bien dire que l'hôtel est super bien placé!

Hotel trés vetuste et état pas trés propre des chambres surtout de la moquette. Le petit déjeuner quasi inexistant 1er jour à 8h00 plus rien à manger, le deuxieme plus de café de chocolat la machine en panne et le 3eme jour plus de jus d'orange. Bon hôtel, très proche du centre ville, face à la plage. Les chambres ne sont pas toutes neuves mais propres quand même. Un défaut: les chambres avec vue sur mer donnent sur la rue puis sur la mer, et c'est assez bruyant...

Extreme neglect to maintenance... Always interruptions in services like Internet, water supply, Elevators all broken, etc... They even cheated me by checking me into a lesser room than what I paid for and when you ever point out any of these things to them its NEVER THEIR FAULT.. they always blame it on someone else.. Mistakes can be forgiven but failure […] to correct or at least acknowledge mistakes is unforgiving in my books.. The Elevator is horribly slow, it have broken tiles and scratches all over the walls.. In general the elevator is a nightmare to use considering there is only one elevator and approximately 160 rooms on 5 floors. The rest of the building is equally lacking proper maintenance. The rooms were not bad though the furniture is old, at least its not too dirty. […] During my stay at this hotel, I was stuck without internet connection for about a day and the next morning there was no water to take a shower. Not to mention they put me in a room without a balcony after I paid for a room with a balcony... But don't worry, nothing is ever their fault. They are always ready with an excuse to blame it on someone else. The location of this Hotel is the best part of it... Junkanoo beach is across the street from the hotel.. I stayed at this Hotel 5 years ago and for the price it was great..I found out this time that they do not want to maintain it because it is going up for sale...No more restaurant, no more room service, one Bar out of two and the one that is open is only half stocked...People are nice and friendly....Never ever will I stay at this Hotel...

the service was very poor, in the reservation was there that we would have internet in the room, we did not had, that is a shame, we are a couple of travelers, we do travel all year long for at least 330 days a year, and there we had found one of the worst breakfast ever... has nothing, definitely nothing that we could call healthy, and if you wish […] a egg, you should pay 2,5USD for each egg, have no words for that... once i want to boil something on the kitchen, then i should pay 30 extra bucks for that, surprisingly bad, we never had changed our towels, every evening we should go down to the reception with our dirt towels and beg to them to change to us, kinda a favor, please,,,, unacceptable ... anyways, bahamas weather is good Lisez la suite

-No restaurant -No free wifi -Junkanoo Resort next door is as clean, rooms are 10 dollars cheaper, they have free wife, and there is a restaurant. -The floors, the walls, the furniture are old but quite clean and solid. My advice to the hotel management: free wifi and a restaurant, or at least sandwiches in the gift shop.

I had better stayed elsewhere. Pictures on the internet can really fool you. Tried to make the best of it but couldn't. Paradise island next for sure. Spend a little extra all inclusive and be comfortable. I changed rooms 3 times.

My family stayed here for one night before we were going to Atlantis. It was just fine for that. Would not want to stay there for my whole vacation. But the rooms were adequate and the pool was nice. You get what you pay for and this wasn't much so I have no complaints.

The hotel definitely looks nicer from the outside! we got there and the lobby was very small! It also had an armed guard in the lobby (scary!), and they gave us wristbands to wear so that we could prove we were guests of the hotel. I guess they have had problems of people walking in. Our room was dingy and musty smelling. The coffee pot didn't fit the […] coffee maker so we couldn't have any coffee. There was also a small hole in the door so we could see out the bottom of the door. Some positives of the hotel: it was whithin walking distance of the beach and shopping downtown, it had a travel person in the lobby to help plan some activities, our room had cable with lots of American channels, and a good continental breakfast. We didn't have to pay the "energy surcharge" because we booked through hotels.com. All the receptionists at the lobby were helpful. If you walk one side, it's 20 minutes away from Arawak Cay/Fish Fry and the if you walk the other, it's 20 minutes away from Downtown Nassau. We're from New York, so we didn't mind walking. It had some problems, we were moved to other rooms because some things didnt work like security boxes that didnt open, lights that didnt turn on, air conditioning was mal functioning. The pillows are horrible, a king size bed with 3 small (needs to be replace) pancake pillows. Have they heard of king size pillows. The lobby has a musty smell. But overall it was ok I only stayed one night check in 4pm and check out 5am so for one night it suited the purpose sleep and leave plus in walking distance to down town.

Totaly not what I expected...Hotel staff not welcomming the most plesant person I met at this hotel was the security guard at the gate, from there every thing goes down hill. Old baath towels and when you did get a new towel it left lint all over your body. The staff were unapologetic about the condition of the hotel and lack of amenities; i.e clean towels and a fully functioning lock on the door. The response to these complaints was "This is a 2 star hotel, what did you expect?" The desk positioned in the lobby selling day trips and booze cruises was annoying to pass coming in and out of the hotel. It […] felt like I was being harassed rather than approached by the salesperson. I was forced to wear a paper bracelet and told on the 2nd day that it was mandatory for security purposes. Well, "security" sure dropped the ball because I had been waltzing in and out undetected, and certainly wasn't asked by any other hotel employees if I was a guest, or simply hanging out on the property. It should probably also be mentioned that the guy responsible for renting out the scooters was less that professional, and hitting on teenage girls as they walked by with their parents checking into the hotel. Needless to say, I checked out on the 2nd day and went to the Best Western Bayview Suites on Paradise Island. THAT place I recommend. From the previous reviews I was a bit scared, but found them to be a bit misleading. Yes the hotel is run down, however it is not that bad. My room was clean but outdated. The staff are all extremely nice and seem like they genuinely want to help you, but they are slow and seem short handed. We had no towels in the room one day and it took three phone calls and 1 1/2 hours later to get them. The breakfast is just muffins. toast, and cereal. The fruit was just watermelon, but free. Considering all food at the restaurants is very expensive, this helped out alot with 2 growing teenagers.
