This hotel is close to the Hollywood area which was perfect for the two days I spent there. Not far from Griffith Observatory or Hollywood sightseeing. It's even within walking distance from the Vermont/Beverly station on the Metrolink which can take you into the heart of Hollywood. The hotel is old and outdated. The breakfast was OK but no food was allowed outside the dining area. Items were not restocked as they ran out. Service was from 6:30 to 9:30AM but food items were not restocked after 9:00AM. There was no coffee service after breakfast and minimal seating in a small lobby area in front of the check-in. There was no business […] center or PC from which to print boarding passes. Towels were limited to two sets; extra's were not easily obtained. 5th story room must have been next to exterior bathroom vents and fumes from sewage were detected inside the room. I stayed in a room facing away from the traffic THANK GOD and had a short but sweet stay. We checked in around 10:30 pm and waited about 5 minutes until the desk clerk came out (I think he was in the bathroom.) Our room was quiet and clean (only the fridge had a little spot in it.) My mom is always freaking out about bed bugs so we checked EVERYTHING […] for any signs of them and found nothing. an interesting hotel located on the side of a hill. The room was very nice and clean with good beds. The pool was small and cold. Breakfast was great. It is close to both Hollywood and to get downtown Los Angeles. Good parking, A little hard to get in and out of the property.

I had high hopes going into this. There were numerous insects (basically the room was infested). There was also a really bad smell.

Nice remodeled room at a great price. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included cereal, pastries, breads, yogurt, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee and juices. Excellent location just off freeway. Neighborhood seemed very safe. Bus stop is just at corner, and Metro stop is just a few blocks away.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The grounds are conveniently located and the parking is free. That is a big deal, not too many of the hotels offer free parking and they sometimes charge $35 a day for your parking. Also, it includes a free hot breakfast which is very nice. They had fresh belgian waffles, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, […] oatmeal packets for you to fix your own oatmeal, coffee, hot tea, milk, apple and orange juice. Also toast, bagels , muffins and english muffins. The location of the hotel is ideal, it is at the intersection of Silver Lake Blvd and highway 101, which makes it very easy to access and find. This hotel was a very nice find. It is in a convenient location right at the silverlake exit of the Hollywood freeway. The windows are double paned and you could not hear the freeway. The room was immaculate and better than some 3 star hotels that I recently stayed at. They have enough parking but only staty at this hotel if you have a car.

As of 1/25/2012, this has been the second worse stay I have had in LA. I will be here for another 3 months. The room had an aweful stinch as soon as I walked in. The cable had been ripped out of the TV, the phone did not work at all. I went to the desk and the the host was willing to relocate me, but offered an alternative. He presented me with a room […] air filter that seemed to work for awhile, but had to be turned back on after every 60 minutes. The phone issue was due to a power outage that only affected the phones. Strange how his phone worked at the desk though. The TV cable was just an issue of some idiot or their kid playing with the TV. Overall, I would not stay there again. I would rather sleep on the freeway. The breakfast was good though. The location of this hotel is perfect to the downtown Los Angeles area. The hotel staff was very nice, but had no idea how to advise me when I asked for driving directions. Both times I asked for directions, I went sent off in the absolute WRONG direction and ended up lost and frustrated. The room was functional, and fairly clean, but I didn't feel […] 100% comfortable. The daily breakfast was crowded and a complete nightmare to endure, especially because no food was permitted outside of the breakfast room. This was my second biz trip to this place, both one nighters. The rooms were clean. The back side of the hotel offers no view and is very quite (perfect for my needs). I will stay there again.

First of all, I reserved a 'one king bed' room on the bottom floor with an early check in on Thurs AM ... This was a must, since I had to check in & be at a seminar at LA Convention Center by 1PM... I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 Am only to be told that there were no rooms available and wouldn't be until 2PM. Therefore I had to leave my puppy dog in […] my car from 11:30 AM till 2:00 Am that next morning when the seminar was over !! Not that she minded ... she was cool and I was close by to take her potty., I was also informed that there were no rooms on the first floor!! Guest rooms started on the 2nd floor and I had to use an elevator everytime to take my pup potty (very inconvenient) .. There were no parking spaces available and it was raining ... no bellmen --not even a rack to carry clothes up to the room !! Everytime I left or arrived back at the hotel, there was at least 1 person --most of the time, 3 or 4 people standing immediately outside the entry door smoking !! One of them smoking a very pungent cigar !! The one redeeming 'quality" was the night attendant at the front desk (Sergio) who went way out of his way to do anything he could to make my stay more pleasant. Never again would I stay here !! I liked the condition and style of the hotel. I even took pictures of the exterior hallway because of all the nice vegetation around. I've never done that before. I recommend this hotel, but realize that the pool is small and rather cold, "super freezing" as my daughter says, especially for an August visit. The other issue was the tv in the breakfast […] room. They blare out CNN which of course tells nonstop stories of all the horrible things going on in the world. I'm on vacation people! Please spare me from this so-called news. I LOVED being able to open a window on each end of the room to get a cross-breeze going. It cooled down the room almost instantly. Selve hotellet var sådan set Ok. men det var første gang, at vi så at der på omslaget til vores nøglekort, var 3 vigtige sikkerhedstips. Det gjore os lidt bekrymret. Nabolaget var ikke lige det vi havde vi havde forventet. Der blev serveret en ok morgenmad, og der var personale, der tjekke op på maden.
