Overall it was a stay...no bugs, no thugs, no break ins, BUT...I called ahead to ask if the hot tub was working before renting the room and I got an enthusiastic yes. Whoever answered the phone must have never sat in a properly working hot tub. There were no bubbles...no roiling bubbling soothing action...just hot water. I complained and the night man, […] who was very friendly, said sorry. I mentioned it upon check-out, and the manager said "sorry, we'll look in to it". I received an email from him saying that he spoke with the maintenance man and they don't have the air pump to make the bubbles! So this happens to be my hobby horse I know, but integrity is a big thing with me...if you say mean it, and if it isn't true don't say it...period. The lobby was dingy and if I had not booked the room already I would've turned and walked back out the door Lisez la suite

with the discount we got, I was pleased with this place. It was convenient to drive almost anywhere, clean enough, and an ok place to stay.

"Red Roof Inn Albuquerque"
When I arrived at the hotel Wednesday night, I was supprised that they had given my room with 2 queen size beds to someone else. The 2 girls were arguing at the front desk because one of the girls gave my room away eventhough I had a reservation and the other girl told her she should not have done that. Then they put me in a room with no beds so they […] argued about that. I had to wait for over 45 minutes to get a room. It was not a good experience. I was in the process of calling Hotels.com to try get another hotel room in a different hotel when they finally came up with a solution. I was not happy with the solution but it was getting late and we were very tired from traveling after getting off work. Lisez la suite
"you pay for what you get!"
my family stayed two nights. The first night the sheets had coffee stains when they came in to clean it the left our window open with my vaulables in it there where dogs barking in other hotel rooms. The jaccuzzi smelled like sulfur and the pool was very small. The pictures are deciving it does not look like that at all!!! The breakfast was awful cold […] ceral, hot ceral and muffins but there was no milk and nobody refilled it. Not worth the money to stay! Lisez la suite
"red roof inn & suites albuquerque"
Two things were the ones I wasnt really pleased about the room we stayed in. Air conditioner did not cool really good, room was hot. The only time that room was cool was at night other than that during the day room was hot. Unfortunately there was no non-smoking rooms anymore & the room we stayed in smelled a lot like smoking. Other than that my daughter […] enjoyed the swimming pool. Lisez la suite
"But the staff was nice."
First I want to say the staff was as nice and cheerful as could be. BUT the hotel was seedy, not maintained, old. They REALLY need to put some money into this place: key cards that work, a front door that works, bath tubs that don't sink under my feet (I weigh 125), new carpet, new drywall. My son's room even had roaches.
"Pool was nice"
We got a room here recently. The place was clean once u got inside your room but the whole hallway smells like smoke. The pool wasn't ready at 9AM so we waited til 9:20AM. I guess thats not bad but it was freezing in the hallway. There's no towels in the pool area too so bring yours from the room in there.
"Red Roof"
Small bed, pillows sucked (dead/flat) a/c unit did not work to good. Staff were nice, but they had a 24hr security patrol run around them and others. Got the feeling that I need to have a room where I could watch my truck. They gave my room away because I checked in after 6pm. I would look for another hotel next time I stay in Alb.
"Hotel Alb NM"
Water was leaking - the room had a stinky odor, the beds were old
"Super Service!"
I have to highly commend the staff for their willingness and ability to help. My problems were not big and they didn't require must work to fix. But they staff snapped to it and gave me everything they could, which fixed the problem. The second shift clerk provided me with advice, directions and a bandage. The night clerk was helpful with a second key […] after I locked myself out. I mention this because, even though he had seen me walking around earlier getting coffee (I couldn't sleep), he would not give me the key without seeing my ID. So, they are security conscious, too. The hotel is right off the highway, making it convenient, but the surrounding area looks like a ghost town. The hotel is a little older, but it's clean and has a great looking pool and spa pool, I didn't go in, but there were a bunch of kids in the pool, looking as happy as a litter of playful puppies. My bed was adequate. The TV channels were more than fine. I would stay here again. Lisez la suite

"Red Roof Albuquerque"
This hotel was located in a "seedy" neighborhood. The first room they gave us, the key pad did not work and there was no one to change the battery and fix it. The second room was not a king room like we reserved and it had stains that looked like blood on the floor by the bed. When I took a shower before going to bed, there was NO HOT WATER! It was […] hard to find a decent restaurant close to there for supper. Overall it was not a good experience. We had a great stay in a Red Roof in Tulsa the night before, but I would never stay in the Albuquerque establishment again! Lisez la suite

"Will never stay at a Red Roof Inn again"
The Red Roof Hotel in Albequerque, NM was terrible. There was only one wash cloth in the room, no hair dryer or alarm clock. I asked for more wash cloths and towels at the front desk, and was told they were out of wash cloths. The clerk offered me a hand towel. The halls and lobby reeked of cigarette smoke. The 'free breakfast' consisted of cereal and […] 2 mini muffins. I did not expect gourmet, but have had much better. The clerk did bring out more muffins. Lisez la suite
"Do not stay here"
The entire place smelled like smoke, the lock on the exterior doors did not unlock with my room key and the bath tub was covered with pubic hair. Very poor hotel.
"Government Receipt"
I stayed on behalf of the government and there is no receipt showing I stayed. This is against the rules of government accounting. So, I will not be able to stay again. The room was comfortable, I was worried about the noise so close to the freeway, but I really could not hear the traffic. Breakfast was so-so, would have liked to have some fruit. The […] room was clean and spacious. Would liked to have a pen and paper in room for notes, etc. Lisez la suite

This hotel is not as good as it looks. the staff put guest with animal next to all the other guest which is not smart. the beds are very uncomfortable. they fir got to clean my room and said i put a don't disturb sign. And on check out the toilet git stopped up. i use to stay in albuquerque alot in business and never stayed in a hotel as uncomfortable […] as this one. pay the extra 2 or 3 dollars a night for something better or you'll regret it. sorry red roof albuquerque i give you all a zero Lisez la suite

"Red Roof Inn"
I was very disappointed in the hotel. The hotel was old and in need of major renovation. The room was uncomfortable and in desparate need of paint. The mattresses were old and long overdue for replacement. I was surprised I didn't see a rooms by the hour hanging outside as the hotel was located in the middle of an industrial area and the state juvenile […] detenion facility was very close. I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone. Lisez la suite
"Red Roof Inn"
Read other reviews--for the price of this hotel, it can't be beat. We stay because they are pet friendly. The front desk personnel were very pleasant and the room was clean. That is all we wanted and the stay was good. They pool was being painted, but seemed like it would be nice if open.
"Convenient location"
Hotel conveniently close to many places. Staff - nice Room - simple, clean, comfortable Pool/hot tub - did not get to use Breakfast - nothing to brag home about, just basic yogurt, waffle, etc Hotel overall - clean, pleasant stay and fits your budget for a good, convenient place to stay
"red roof inn ABQ"
Rooms were overall clean, service in the morning was horrible, Free breakfast was not worth waking up for. Hot tub was busted, pool was dirty.
"Awful Stay."
We first arrived the clerk was semi-friendly, then the comforter smelt awful and when i went to take a shower it was cold the water would not get hot! We couldn't use all the functions of the TV. Then in the morning while getting my baby ready i noticed that my husband and i included all had a red rash on our bodies. Then to add the frosting on the […] cake there was a roach on our bed! I will never stay again. I think next time we woud be better off staying in our cars , this is by far the worst hotel experiance that my family and I have ever had. Lisez la suite
"Got what you paid for"
I looked for hotel by freeway for one night stay from Santa Fe to Albuquerque. Convenience location near food and gas station. Room is comfortable. But has very weak internet signal inside the room so I had to sit at the lobby to do some work on my laptop. Disappointed about free continental breakfast. They have only mini muffin, cereal with milk, juice […] and coffee. Not even toast with butter and jelly. I asked why and the answer was "hard to keep it clean"!! Lisez la suite
"Good Value, however..."
if you are a business traveler as I am and an important feature of your hotel room is that it includes quality high-speed wireless service, look elsewhere. The connections were spotty at best, and had to keep reconnecting as signal was very poor, also meaning VERY slow. The room was very clean, location was good, but the 'breakfast' they offer was basically […] coffee, small muffins and cold cereal. Lisez la suite
"Red Roof Inn - Albuquerque, NM"
Horrible stay here. 1. The jacuzzi was broken & the pool area was dirty. 2. Our room was a non-smoking room but it smelled of cigarette smoke. 3. The bed was broken & it sank in the middle of the mattress. 4. The "Continental Breakfast" consist of cold cereal, pastries, juice, & coffee. That's it... really. 5. There was a dead bug stuck to the wall […] above the TV. 6. The room keys did not always work. We complained to the staff that night after we checked in & they did offer us a refund but they couldn't do it because we booked through hotels.com & it was late when we checked in & we didnt feel like looking for another room. I should've just booked somewhere else. Do not stay here! Lisez la suite

"Red Roof Inn 1635 Candelaria Blvd NE ABQ, NM"
Staff very accomodating. Room clean except carpet left the bottoms of my shoes BLACK.
"Not Bad For The Money"
This place is not as bad as people said. It had clean rooms and a friendly enough staff. The breakfast was disappointing, but then again it was free.
"Red Roof Inn & Suites Albuquerque"
We had a great experiance while our stay here. the rooms are very clean and the people are very nice. Pool and rooms where very clean. The only thing that I didnt like was the breakfast, they didnt have much of a selection. Other than that, i was great.
"Red Roof Albuquerque"

"red roof inn albuquerque off candelaria"
Rooms were dirty had broken electrical plates on the outlets. Missing covers on the light fixtures in the bathroom so wiring was exposed hand rail in the bathtub was broke. Also cleaning ppl can't be trusted I accidentally left my pillow. A pillow that belonged to my dad that was killed when I was one yr old I'm now 34. It means the world to me. No […] one turned it in so I figured they must have tossed it as it is old and worn. My little brother searched the trash the same day and the next day opening every bag not finding it we called and offered a reward and still nothing. Sad to see someone would steal a pillow. Definately would not recommend this motel. Lisez la suite
"Red Rood Inn Favorable"
This hotel was not as good as I expected, however, not nearly as bad either and the price is affordable. The service was awesome. The front desk worked with us and provided everything we needed. The customer service alone would definitly send me back, for me this is very important. I would recommend it and will be returning.
"Red Roof Hotel in NE Albuquerque is WORST ever!"
"You get what you pay for!" This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at....our room was NEXT TO the freeway, the "water conserving toilet" ran ALL night long and the carpet & walls were so dirty we had to keep our shoes on.
"THIS HOTEL WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!"

"Bad area!"
Room was dirty, dry wall was in need of repair, dirty on remote, and stains on mattress. Hot water took 5 minutes to warm up for shower.
"Red Roof Inn in Albuquerque, New Mexico"
Over all for the price it was satisfactory. The person at the front desk when we checked in was very helpful. The downside is that there was no restaurants within walking distance to go to. We order food delivery that was okay for just one night. The room was clean but I did miss having a coffee pot in the room. Very basic with ammenities.

Great price and good location near I-25 and I-40. Area within walking distance is light industrial with no restaurants or pubs. The rooms well maintained but are pretty basic without any fridge. The only negative on the hotel itself is that the indoor pool could have been better maintained and could definitely have used a good cleaning.
