Excellent hotel et rapport qualité prix : confort correct, propre, chambre spacieuse, lit qualité, petit déj avec fruits et gaufrier. Excellent site hors downtown mais proche de tout, le nord de Vancouver étant très agréable à découvrir. Je recommande.

Hotel bien situé, à à peine 10 minutes en voiture du Parc Stanley, de l'aquarium et du centre ville. Hotel agréable, personnel serviable, chambres grandes et confortables, lits confortables, petit déjeuner buffet avec gauffres inclus, parking gratuit, et connexion internet gratuite.

l'emplacement géographique nous a convenu : nous étions assez proche des quais d'embarquement ( pour une croisière)

Owner was very ignorant and unhelpful, room was freezing cold even though heat was turned up to 85 degrees. No quilts or extra blankets offered in room, had three kids sleep in their clothes to keep warm. Advice - stay at the travellodge a few doors down, may be a few more dollars but at least the people are friendly and you will get some sleep. Nice rooms- very clean - easy to check in and check out.

We stayed there for 8 nights. The lady would come to tidy-up the room everyday. She would just do half the job. She would take out the trash, and change towels that's it. She didn't even vacuum the room everyday. Worse was, one day, she left our room's door wide open!! she must have done that around 1pm or so, and till get got back at 7pm, the room […] was open to anybody. we had our laptops, iPad, iPod, SLR-camera, cash, visa documents, and passports in the room. When I called the front-desk lady to show the open door, she said "yeah, that cleaning lady might not have pulled the door very hard." Luckily for us, nothing got stolen; but that gave the hotel an excuse saying why make a fuss if nothing got stolen! We were so angry with the whole thing. Otherwise, breakfast is OK. Rooms are quiet. North-vanc is a good place to stay. Bathroom, kitchen, u-wave, fridge, TV worked. Lisez la suite

Convenient location with free internet, parking and breakfast. However, hot water was a bit of a problem and had trouble getting any in the morning.

This hotel worked for us because of its central location in Vancouver. The hotel is a bit old and the decor a bit tired. But, you can't expect a lot for the price we paid. The room was clean and comfortable, very basic amenities.

Rooms were clean for a nights stay and location not too far off the beaten track. Would stay again

Perfect location for our needs - pleasant staff, clean, incl. breakfast which was not expected. Older hotel but very well kept considering age.. Good beds but needed extra blanket which was quickly provided by office. I would stay again & would recommend.

just a quick 2 day business trip to Vancouver (North & West) and this hotel is conveniently located and offered a decent rate. Adequate room and handy to have a self service breakfast set-up. Minor negative point is the fact that all guests park their vehicles in the courtyard outside the downstairs rooms. Some guests made a nuisance of themselves by […] selfishly let their car engine "warm up" at 6 AM! The only thing i found upsetting is the breakfast only ran untill 9:30 when checkout is 11

Clean and comfortable motel-style room with entrance to the room directly from the parking area. Check-in clerk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the room rate but was not worth it. Close to the bridge to Stanley park and Capilano Suspension Bridge. It's a little "tired" but value for your money. They have a nice complimentary breakfast (pancakes, bacon, waffels, toast, cereals, fruit, etc.).

Excellent location and we appreciate the drive up to your room Motel style. We booked 3 nights but decided to stay one more night because we found it so convenient and comfortable. The breakfast menu was excellent. We loved the pancake machine which made perfect pancakes every time. Earl's and a wine store were walking distance - very convenient!

Not a bad place, but pricey for a "motor style inn" all units are open to the street.

good service friendly staff and big rooms

We enjoyed staying at the North Vancouver Hotel. It was a very clean and quiet place. What we were really impressed with was, the Breakfast every morning. We've stayed at many places and there usually wasn't a Breakfast at all. That was a bonus, as, we were set for the most part of the day after that. I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this hotel very clean and quite a bit nicer than I was expecting. No complaints at all. The staff at the front desk were helpful and kind. Our first hotel stay with our baby and I would definitely stay there again.

Desk person busy so she was not able to refill the continental breakfast items. Said a second staff did not come in till 8:00am which did not help people with other appointments Otherwise a nice place to spend a night.

We couldn't sleep even one night! There were people there who made lots of noise and the hotel staff didn't do a thing!

Probably my worst stay in a long time. My original assigned room was about 15 meters from a busy road (Capilano Rd) so I asked to be moved. They had no other King beds available so they moved me to a twin Queen room, which was apparently the "restroom facility" room for the painters who were painting the hotel. I found this out when one entered my room […] unannounced in the late afternoon. In the morning I went down to breakfast at 8:30 a.m. to find that they had run out of eggs and bacon and the person before me was nice enough to split the remaining 4 sausage links with me. Apparently the ration they had allocated for the day had been exceeded. The last bit was at 9:30 a.m. I had fully placed the do not disturb sign in the outside lock but housekeeping decided they would like to make up the room at that time rather than wait till the room had been vacated. Perfectly good budget hotel. The main problem is that the breakfast room is way too small - buffet breakfast is better than average, but finding a seat to sit down and eat it is not easy.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Located on a very busy street, very noisey, and we were on the first floor and could hear every movement of the people upstairs. Breakfast was good: a machine that makes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, cereal, fruit. Laundry room is functional but very run down. This was our second stay at this hotel and were very satisfied with the service, easy to find, and great location. The breakfast variety was good. Staff were friendly and informative. We definitely will come and stay at this hotel next time we come visit Vancouver.

Although it was reserved and confirmed however we were lied to about maintenance and they want to send us to another hotel ( not a better hotel but a cheap once) they finally gave us a king bed room with annoying buzzing noise at night however there was no maintenance issue, they just gave it to other people for few more dollars. Very unacceptable act […] from a business although I'm their regular and stay few times a year with them with no previous issue. my family was disgusted from their act. Lisez la suite

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic, acommadations and staff far exceeded our expectations, and location was perfect for venturing out. Only one issue was the poor weather, but that's Vancouver. Cheers and see ya next time.

We have been coming here for 10+ years and have always had a good stay. Good location for easy access to the North Shore and Squamish/Whistler area. Bus stop within a block for a 15 minute ride to downtown or Lonsdale Quay/ Sea Bus route. A few restaurants within walking distance. Adequate free parking. Very clean heated outdoor pool. Firm pillow topped […] beds are comfy, fridge and microwave are old but a nice addition to the room. Good breakfast, hot entrees are pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, plus the usual continental fair - pretty good food to fill you up. Cons -- breakfast can get very busy and it is a very small area, there is additional seating on the far side of the check in desk also or just take the meal outside or back to your room. Also this building is really starting to show it's age, it is very clean and the service is great, the building structure is just getting old now. We checked in late at night and got the kids right into bed and soon fell asleep ourselves. The next morning I found ants crawling through our toiletries and the garbage where we threw a portion of one of the kid's ice cream cones that could not be finished from the night before (note: the ice cream was only in the garbage - not on the floor or anywhere […] else). When my wife told the front desk it didn't seem like a big deal to the person working there. Also the free breakfast was held in a 12' x 12' room with all of the other guests (not comfortable) because the hotel is under renovations. ON the plus side... no evidence of bed bugs. Solid motel on the North Shore. Easy access to both North & West Vancouver. Park Royal shopping, Grouse Mountain lift station, Ambelside beach and Lonsdale Quay less than 10 minutes away. Room smelled, hot water in bathtub very weak, freezer melted the ice cream. Breakfast included essential items, but the eating room was very small, crowded, messy and slow in refilling the items.. After complaining, they did not even make a courtesy offer for the $6.00 I lost on the ice cream. What's more, I don't know why it's called a hotel. It was […] a motel with very badly kept stairways. Not as nice as pictures show. Very noisy traffic area. Older hotel, needs to be redone. Staff was ok. Breakfast area was crowded, no room to sit. They need to have staff on hand to restock the food items.

The only downside to our stay at this hotel was there full breakfast advertised as being included in the stay. The hotel is not equipped to handle this service and should not be offering it. One person was trying to cook for all the hotel guests and there was only two or three tables. The North Vancouver Hotel is clean, comfortable and the best value that we found in the area. We also stayed at the Grouse Inn for a few nights previously, but it paled in comparison when it came to upkeep and cleanliness.

Hotel looks like a Motel actually, but I was surprised at how clean, and comfortable the rooms actually are. No fanciness or anything, just a plain good room, clean, and comfy. Breakfast included, not that great, but gets you going for the morning. If you are looking for altenartives and don't want to stay downtown, this is a good value, super close […] to Capilano bridge, and to the West vancouver area, which is very nice. If you are into hiking, highly recommend going to lighthouse park or at least ambleside park, really nice, easy walks. Lisez la suite

I stayed at this hotel for 1 week and I thought it was a nice clean hotel in a good location for a price that probably can't be beat!

The hotel seemed very dated. The room was large, and it was clean, but it was just 'tired'. Corner room on second floor was very, very, extreamly noisy. Constant traffic noise. Map showing location is not accurate.

Godd value for money. Only compaints were that the hair dryer didn't work and we did not get clean glasses every day.
