"White Hall in London: nice and close to Covent G."
That was a very pleasant and nice experience to stay in this hotel for a 3-day WE! Very convenient wrt the location, receptionists are nice and helpful and the room I booked was fine (upper London room standard). Hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
"Hotel LOndres Centre"
Bien situé ,Chambre et service de très bonne qualité. Si vous prenez petit déjeuner sur place . Le cadre est exceptionnel,la terrasse extra ,le prix élevé ....
"Grange White Hall Hotel"
Visite de 4 jours à Londres. Hotel très confortable et personnel très accueillant. Proche bus et métro pour se déplacer rapidement ou dans des lieux plus éloignés. Assez facile d'accès pour des visites à pieds du centre (à peine excentré).

"Fair price"
Good value for money.although the facilities are a bit old.but very spacious rooms
"Vacation stay"
The room was clean, quiet, and perfect for weary travelers that needed good rest following a long day of touring around! The services were excellent and very accommodating. The location was perfect for getting on the 'tube' to explore the city.
"Excellent Service"
All members of staff we came across we fantastic, they genuinely couldn't do enough for us. The location suited us, being in walking distance of Euston, various museums, Soho and Covent Garden. Our room on 2nd floor overlooked garden so was as quiet as London can be. Didn't hear any noise from neighbouring rooms. Loved the old sloping bedroom floor! […] Good sized room, although the bed was strangely positioned, so that you couldn't really see the television from one side, not that it was a problem for us. Would definitely recommend. Unless you get good last minute deal, it is a bit expensive considering room only, but it is London... Lisez la suite
"Great Value"
Just back from a 1 night stay here. room 115 was fabulous. my only complaint was a rather odd smell in the bathroom coming from the drains. this needs looking at. otherwise great hotel and i will be staying again.
"Lovely hotel and lovely staff"
We got a great last minute rate on the hotel and arrived very alte at night due to work commitments and the staff were very helpful! the room was full of character and just lovely!
"The Grange Russell Square"
The staff were very friendly but for the amount of money I paid I'd of preferred to of stayed somewhere nicer. I had some issues; the tv remote wouldn't work properly so we would be constantly annoyed trying to change the channel. The bathroom was terrible, the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work and it had no other ventilation, the shower head […] sprayed water randomly which suggests to me it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, the light above the sink was out as well - I think this is the reason they don't have images of their bathrooms on the site. The room itself was fairly good sized but we were on the bottom floor and could literally hear everything that was going on outside the room so there was very little privacy, the bed sheets seemed cleaned but there were three large pillows on the bed which had stains all over them, the bed was also very low down. Finally there was a loose socket on the wall when I tried to unplug something the socket moved a couple of cm each way. I only stayed one night and if I had booked in for longer I would have raised these points and I'm sure the helpful staff would have done all they could but I was looking for somewhere nice and convenient, quiet and homely to stay and for the money I paid I expected a lot better. My advice is to stick to chain hotels, at least you know what to expect. In all honesty this felt like a very expensive hostel. Lisez la suite
"Great hotel location not great room location"
The hotel has a great location right around the corner from the British Museum and easy walk to a number of Tube stops. However, the room that we were given was in the basement of the hotel right under the dining room so it was quite noisy in the morning not just with guest, but with staff prepping the breakfast room, by early I mean 6am early. So if […] you book rooms make sure you get something not in the basement as they have a number of rooms down there. Lisez la suite
"The Grange White Hall Hotel"
We were very disappointed with this hotel. We booked a superior double room and this turned out to be very small, in a long narrow shape like a corridor, located in the hotel basement, adjacent to a very noisy elevator. The bed was also very small. The breakfast was very overpriced and not freshly prepared. I ordered an English breakfast which was cold […] and the tea was served luke warm from flasks. The service was very slow in the restaurant. The only positive was the location which was very convenient. Overall, we thought this hotel was very overpriced for what you get. Would not recommend. "Grange White Hall Hotel, Bloomsbury, London"
Hotel itself was nice and staff were helpful. However the room was not big enough for two people - one of us had to sit down whilst the other walked around - and it was next to the lift so very noisy. As such I would not stay here again. Shame!

"Cute Hotel in Russel Square"
My girlfriend and i stayed here at the end of December 2011. It is a great little hotel with friendly staff, clean/modern rooms and in a great location. Our cab driver had a little difficulty finding it but the location was great once we got there. The room was wonderful and the staff were great. The only con was that not all of the room service items […] on the menu were available when we called (they could use a menu update I guess). In the end we did get a great piece of cake so it's not a real complaint. I'd definitely stay here again. It's a great place for the price. Lisez la suite
"Pleasant stay at the Grange White Hall Hotel"
Its only a short walking distance from the Holbourn station to get to the hotel. When we arrived we where greated by a most helpfull staff that supplied maps and directions to what ever stupid stuff we could find out. The room was just perfect. I dont understand people who complain about small rooms. What do they do in the rooms? Run around and have […] pillow fights? The only thing the missis could complain about was that there were no iron, but a phonecall to the reception and the iron was droped of on the double. As most hotels on the British Islands there are carpets all over the place. But thats just the way it is. We newer had either dinner nor breakfast on the hotel so I cant give you any points there. But the hotel have a breakfast, that I can tell you. The hotel is just around the corner of the British museum, if your in to that kind of stuff. Lisez la suite
"Grange White Hall Hotel"
The hotel staff are lacking in ability to please guests. Wifi was an additional charge but the hotel across the street provides this service for free. I was satisfied with the overall value.
"Great Stay."
I'm an American living in Sicily, and I stayed at the Grange White Hotel, for a 5 day stay.I had a great time there. Its close to everything. The British Museum is around the corner.Russel Square train station is near by,its very close. The hotel room is very small.I was traveling alone,so it didn't matter.I recommend this hotel to everyone. It was a bit […] pricey but hey, thats LONDON. A good place to stay. Staff were helpful, room was good and the location is excellent for access to London
"When location matters... this is the hotel."
The Grange Whitehall is ideally located, but for those of you expecting the good to great accommodations, this is not the hotel for you. You cannot regulate the heat in your room, so if this is important I would not stay here. Our room was either to hot or chilly. The furnishings and fixtures are worn. Maid service was inconsistent, and I would even […] say poor as our bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned every day and the trash was not emptied every day either. The room service menu is terrible, and the extension to room service was always busy. We never got through on any day, and always had to call the front desk for a call back. You can only order a sandwich after 8:00 p.m. or a few smaller items (again - not tasty). However, they do offer room service from a local Italian Restaurant (only order pizza). Because this is an old hotel the elevator is small and can only accommodate 3-4 people or two people with bags. You may have to wait on occasion for the elevator on a busy weekend. Ok, I have to speak about the good stuff... YOU CANNOT BEAT THE LOCATION OF THIS HOTEL. The British Museum is on the backside and right around the corner. The Russell Square (on the Piccadilly line) Underground is two blocks over and two blocks up. Starbucks is right around the Corner, as are great Indian, Thai, and Italian restaurants. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on, and I am a frequent traveler. If you want to rent a bike they are about 1/2 a block away. It is two blocks from London University, and the neighborhood feels very safe. Although we wish the hotel was nicer, we had a great time in London! Lisez la suite
Perfect price that catered ours needs as we were at show at palace theatre and then shopping in oxford street following day. Checked out and left luggage until 7pm when we were leaving, staff polite and helpful, would definately stay again
"Nice staff, but the hotel is a bit wonky"
The hotel is in a great location, staff are friendly and helpful, and while the majority of the decor is very nice, it is all just a bit odd. At first I was in a room right next to the lift, so all I could hear was the lift all night. Equally the room was so small you couldn't actually open the wardrobe door fully! Also the bathroom had curtains that […] came across and touched the toilet, while the glass wasn't frosted on the window. After asking I was moved, but in the next one the floor wasn't level, so the desk had an approximately 5 degree list - hard to work on! The final insult was that in a business hotel, where you are paying expensive central London rates, to use the gym extra (internet was also extra) - expect to get 'nickel & dimed' to quote my US colleagues. In summary if it was cheap and there was nothing else in the area (and I had to just get some sleep in that area), i would stay there with work. However there is no way I would go back with my girlfriend, or choose to stay there if there were other options. Lisez la suite

"Good place for several nights"
My husband and I stayed here for 1 night (Sunday) on our way back to the States from 2 weeks of backpacking around Europe and it was a great place to rest- big room that allowed us to re-pack all our stuff, big bathroom, good toiletries, nice bed, computer in the lobby with printer for our boarding passes, helpful staff. It is walking distance from […] a couple of tube stops which we needed because we had backpacks and relied 90% on public transportation + walking. Plenty of places to eat near by, ATMs and the neighborhood was good, felt safe. We were sorry we couldn't stay there longer! The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because we found a pair of black men's underwear hanging out in the bathroom- we found it funny because we stayed at another place that had the same issue so maybe it was just something following us around! But still the American in me just can't give this place a 5 because of that... Lisez la suite

"Hotel is a historical building"
The hotel looks nice from outside, but in the rooms the floor is not flat. When I complained at the reception that the glass is sliding when I put it on the table they said: "Hotel is a historical building, all rooms are like that". Polish and indian receptionists try hard to do their job best, you cannot blame them for the fact that they cannot check […] you in before 3pm even if the rooms are available - that is the rule. There are no european adaptors available, the receptionists tell people that all 9 adaptors are taken. Otherwise the room is clean and the location is perfect - just in the center ! ) Lisez la suite

"Good location"
Good location for Holborn, Covent Garden. Lower-ground rooms reasonable size but smell of stale air and cooking. Would not want to leave windows open to air while out. Also noisy in morning from trampling feet upstairs - not sure if it was reception, kitchen or dining room. Upstairs rooms small but comfortable. Beds extremely comfortable.

"Good location but very bad sound proofing"
Small but nice room. The big problem is that the sound proofind is very bad. When someone opens the door next to your room it sounds like your own door is opened. You can easily also hear steps from upstairs as well as noise from outside as there are only single screen windows without proper finnishing for sound proofing.
We loved our room at this hotel. It had a great window and beautiful moldings. They did an excellent job of updating the room (and the rest of the hotel), but maintain the charm and character. The location was excellent as well, with great access to the Underground.
"Brilliant"
We were greeted by very welcoming staff. It was all very clean. The room was not the biggest ive seen but very clean and did exatly what we needed. The only downside I would say is that we heard next door quite a bit (but in fairness it was a hen do crowd) Overall very pleased
"good spot, restful stay"
short walk from tube to this hotel, and if you're visitng british museum, it is just next door - close to Russell Square as well, hence a park nearby with a small cafe where you can have nice breakfast outdoor. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Will certainly return when I next visited UK. I only stay for one night for transfer to my next dest […] ination. Lisez la suite
"Very Happy"
We loved this hotel! last night in London and it was the best hotel we stayed in. We will stay there again. Clean, roomy rooms. Friendly, helpful staff and great, central location. Highly recommend.
"Good location for an average Hotel"
We found the location great. The area is incredibly busy with tourists during the day. Probably due to the British Museum being right next door. It is quiet at night. We had room 8 which is on the lower ground floor. It always seems to be a bit disappointing when you're directed downstairs, but the room was fine. Small, but OK. The bed was quite soft […] and the tv remote was hopeless. You turn down the volume and it changes channel! The shower was excellent. The bathroom was cleanish, but would benefit from a thorough going over. There is obvious dust or mould around the door frame inside the bathroom. The thow across the bottom of the bed was also stained. I didn't bother addressing any of my niggles with the front desk. They were fully booked and very busy, so I don't think they would have cared either way. If the price was right I would stay there again, but given the choice I would look for somewhere else. "Great location but very peaceful"
Paid a little more than we would usually but it was well worth it. Hotel is in a great position for all the usual sites, but on a nice quiet street. Our twin room was spacious and overlooked the small gardens and the British Museum at the back of the hotel.Staff were lovely. It was so peaceful, definitely the quietest night I have ever spent in a hotel! […] Only complaint is the ridiculous cost of breakfast, but we were happy to go to a nearby cafe. Would definitely return. Lisez la suite

"Not a hotels for people who need space"
The room we were allocated was small. The bed was small, the bathroom was small. Not enough room to get a cat in let alone swing it. If you are of average height or above you will find the rooms small.
"An excellent hotel experience!"
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone, I had such a positive experience here. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, my room was really nice, the neighborhood is great. The best part was definitely the fact that the staff really went out of their way to help me (I was stranded due to the airport/weather fiasco). I am so glad […] I found this hotel and definitely recommend that others stay here. Lisez la suite
