Nous occupions l'une des chambres à trois lits dont une partie se trouve en mezzanine, du coup deux télés et plus d'espace pour tous. Enfin la situation de l'hôtel est très intérréssante, quartier très vivant le soir pour budget sérré, petit déjeuner à la hauteur et accueil souriant.

Bonne impression générale en découvrant la chambre (propre, équipée) mais les matelas étaient très médiocres. Nous pouvions sentir les ressorts.De plus les murs étant très fins nous avons été un peu dérangé par les aller et venues dans le couloir. Quoiqu'il en soit, c'est un hôtel très correct, l'accueil est sympathique et le petit-déjeuner copieux. L'emplacement est idéal, à deux pas de Hyde Park et sur la ligne Centrale du métro. Il y a même le bus 390 direct qui circule même la nuit depuis Oxford Street.

en arrivant agréable surprise d'avoir une chambre surclassée !!!! 2 chambres, séjour, salle de bains dernier étage pour un couple : pas de bruit de voisins, pas trop de rue même si nous étions côté rue. comme beaucoup d'hôtels anglais l'entretien des chambres et bâtiment (peinture, moquettes etc..) est un peu laissé de côté, il ne faut pas être regardant... par contre draps fournis et serviettes, le tout propre. disposés sur les lits avec savons+shampooing. Franchement le personnel est sympa, l'endroit pour des touristes est impecc. Sans hésiter si je devais repartir sur Londres, je rependrai cet hôtel ou le conseiller à un couple /famille.

Accueil, très sympa, très pro mais impersonnel, cela ne va pas plus loin. Pas de mots d'accueil, pas de mot pour les visites. J'ai payé via internet, sans aucun problème. Il y a un gardien 24/24, donc pas de problème pour les clés. On est arrivés à 10h00 alors que chambres dispos à 14h00, ils ont gardé les sacs dans un local et quand on est revenus à ,18h00 les bagages étaient montés dans l'appartement, très sympa.....Situé dans une rue, très peu passante, mais qui donne devant un accès d'hôpital d'où partent les ambulances, et aussi un giratoire d'autobus.....donc c'est bruyant la nuit malgré le vitrage double. Ce n'est pas gênant plus que ça, mais tout de même cela fait un bruit de fond qui est tout de même là.....C'est appartement est très bien équipé, propre, les lits sont confortables, et il ne manque rien. Petit bémol, mais bon on fait avec, les SDB sont petites. Il y a des pubs juste à côté, un restaurant qui vend du pain juste en dessous à partir de 7h00, c'est pratique et très sympa. Le supermarché "Tesco" à 400 mètres n'est pas terrible, il faut aller à "Tesco" à côté de la station de métro de Saint Paul, les produits sont plus frais...! En résumé c'est un bon point de chute avec ses petits inconvénients. Mon avis sur cet hôtel est positif et correspond parfaitement au descriptif du site de "Hotels.com"

un petit peu de marche a pied sauf si vous avez des forfaits bus car il faut 10mn a pied de victoria mais le calme du quartier est parfait pour dormir tranquille ascenseur en panne pendant notre sejour avons pu l'utiliser qu'1 seul fois

Bon hôtel au centre de Londres, 10 min à pied de Victoria et de Tate Britain. Chambres propres et assez grandes pour Londres, mais nous avons reçu 2 lits simples accolés au lieu d'un lit double.

Hotel is in a good area - close to Victoria Station and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace, St James Park and Victoria Station to everywhere else in London. There is a nice outdoor market close by with Middle Eastern food delicacies and plenty of restaurants close by. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful and service was very good. […] The rate is good for London area. The only damper to an otherwise perfect London Hotel is the lack of air conditioning. Found this hotel on Hotels.com and looked to be a good deal. Was very happy that it turned out to be better than expected. Very clean, friendly staff and easy to get to. quiet neighborhood as well but close to Vicortia station.

The staff were excellent – I arrived early and they went out of their way to accommodate my early arrival – I got a pot of tea and a room before I was finished. The room looked very nice, but there were a lot of things that cheapened the look. There were small holes in the walls of the bedroom, and the grout in the bathroom needed major work. Overall the experience was good.

This hotel is a great find in central London. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a real bonus: It's a short stroll from Victoria Station so easy for trains, tube, buses and coaches. The main attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey are all close by. We stayed in a superior double room on the […] third floor, which was surprisingly large with two queen sized beds. The room had a flat screen digital tv, safety deposit box , trouser press, hairdryer and lovely toiletries included. The beds are the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in for a long time. The bathroom is very small but fully equipped. I would describe this hotel as great value. (We already knew about the expensive breakfast, so chose to go eat elsewhere). The only thing that stops me giving this hotel full marks is the overbearing heat of the bedrooms However, in spite of that, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely stay here again. "Very convenient"
We were going to the theater to see Wicked, this hotel is a very short walk to the theater as well as Victoria Station. The room was quite large with a nice sized bathroom. It was very quiet until early in the morning when the housekeepers started going up & down the halls with their carts. Not really something you want to hear after a late night, but […] we survived. My only suggestions would be to buy water and/or snacks at one of the surrounding shops because food & drinks are a bit high at the hotel. "Mixed review of Grange Rochester"
This spot was a study in contrasts---staff was really helpful when available---but simply "not there" from time-to-time. Rooms were quite large for the UK, but oddly configured---I was in up in the eaves with one small, narrow window in a good sized space. Bathroom was modernized and yet a bit worn--clean but somehow tired. Elevator only went to the […] fourth floor. If you need to avoid stairs---stay off the fifth. Lots of hidden "extras." No breakfast---$32 for continental breakfast. Internet was $15 per day. Food was very nice in the adjoining pub and dining room with very nice staff. This is a beautiful quaint hotel with comfortable beds and good but very small bathroom. The staff were extreemly helpful. We were two people that spent one night there and if felt like we had been there longer as the staff were so friendly, they could not do enough to make our stay a pleasure! I'm always a little nervous about booking hotels I haven't been to before, I had a look at the other reviews and the majority were really good so I decided to go for it. Really glad I did as it was fantastic. Booked the hotel and a show for my mums 50th birthday and she was very happy we even got a room upgrade, really spacious rooms with lots of tea […] and coffe making facilities and bathroom toiletries! Wasn't as quite as near the tube as it states but still only 5mins and the theatres for wicked and billy elliot are night near. Really good hotel and I will definatly be going back, as for the bad reviews if you look at the people who have left them most have also left terrible reviews for other products and services too, im glad i didnt take any notice. Good value for the money. Clean, well appointed rooms, comfortable bedding and a large soaking tub which was appreciated after a long day walking London. Convenient location though the immediate neighborhood is a bit run down. 10 minute walk to most of the main Westminster sights. Excellent bistro on site. "Excellent location"
Hotel was very nice, clean and friendly. Concierge service excellent. Rooms were quite nice with adequate space. Close to lots of attractions and restaurants. Had a great time there.

This is an old world hotel in peaceful but close to victoria station and westminster. The only complaint i would have is that breakfast which i did not have seems overpriced at £18 considering i was able to get an excellent breakfast for £8.50 in a Premier Inn

"NOT a four star hotel"
This is NOT a 4 star hotel. Hotels.com has gotten it very, very wrong. Expect a 2.5 star experience. Broken elevator. Broken internet. Broken heater in room. Young staff that have not been trained and are unprofessional and uncaring. Expect any situation you face to be met with the roll of an eye and to be quickly ignored. The only "bad" thing was that google maps doesnt show where the hotel really is, and just points to the vincent square and it would be better if it just showed where the entrance is really at, […] that is on Vane street. While the staff was pleasant and the location ideal, the room was very small. We were stepping over luggage and had to move a suitcase to open closet door. The bathroom was lovely in all marble, but cold because the bath had no heating.

This hotel won't disappoint -- stayed two nights on business. Location is convenient to Victoria Station (with easy access to/from Heathrow via tube), surrounding neighborhood has lots of pubs and great lunch/breakfast places across Vauxhill Bridge Rd on Warwick Way. The hotel is close to Victoria Station once you're clear on the direction. It's not really far enough away to call a cab but we did when checking out as it was easier than pulling our luggage down the street early in the morning. There wasn't alot of other shops or eateries around. The food in the pub downstairs was excellent.

This is the first time I have ever written one of these reviews but I felt I had to in order to commend this wonderful hotel. I have stayed in some very nice hotels all around the world and the service level given by all staff from cleaners to bellboy to receptionist was of the highest order. My blackberry charger stopped working whilst I was there […] and not only did the staff let me borrow one they also let me keep it. For the price and the location in Central London this place is first class. If I had tocriticise anything it would only be to say that the room was a little hot and without A/C. Otherwise A1 place. "A wonderful, wonderful stay"
I booked this hotel based on others reviews and the price - it was an absolutely fantastic choice! I needed to be in Victoria and this is far enough away from the madness of the station for it to be quiet and close enough to the action to make walking to anywhere I needed easy. We had a beautiful spacious corner room, with space for our baby to be 'around […] the corner' so that we didn't disturb her every time we went to the loo! "Met my expectations"
This hotel lived up to my expectations. I had read reviews on trip advisor and thought that the hotel was very good value for money. An added bonus was getting upgraded on arrival to a room overlooking the garden with a nice balcony. This made for a quiet nights sleep. Although this hotel was really clean and staff welcoming it was difficult to sleep in the room due to excessive heat. It had been a hot weekend and after a whole day sight seeing we returned back to our room tired and ready to relax but the room was absolutely boiling. The windows would only open a little and we could not really get a breeze because […] we were facing a courtyard surrounded by other buildings and no view. So with no breeze and no air-conditioning it was very uncomfortable and our son could not sleep most of the night and neither could we. "Peaceful haven"
Only stayed overnight but a very comfortable stay. Our room overlooked the tree- lined square; lovely and peaceful. Only minor point I would make is the hairdryer kept in the dressing table draw by the bed- would be more convenient to have it located in the bathroom.
Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich top und serhr ruhig . Aber dieses Hotel ist auf keinen Fall ein 4 Sternen Hotel. Die Zimmer sind klein und in den Badezimmern ist alles verkalkt oder verstopft. Am Empfang sind die Damen nicht sehr freundlich.
