It's a very nice hotel: large and comfortable room, staff is helpful, breakfast is good and offers a lot of choice. I recommend this hotel and will go back there next time I'm in Hamburg.

Definitely a cheap solution in Hamburg _ great budget for families. Quality is correct, private bathrooms in the bedrooms, beds are quite good. Not a lot of choice for breakfast but quality is ok.

Le quartier St Georg se situe entre la gare principale et le lac Alster. Vous y trouverez de belles rues anciennes, mais aussi des ruelles délabrées. Des immeubles très simples côtoient des hôtels cinq étoiles, dont l'établissement historique Kempinski Atlantic. Lange Reihe est bordée de bons restaurants et de boutiques chic. Le théâtre Deutsches Schauspielhaus et le Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe (art et design) sont établis près de la gare.

L'extérieur ressemble un peu à un quartier défraîchi. Mais le quartier très calme pour dormir. L'intérieur de l'hôtel est assez classique et tout à fait conforme à ce que l'on peut attendre pour un hôtel business. "La ville du Hamburger"
L'hotel est situé à 15 mn du métro. C'est facile d'acces et le métro est open tout le temps. D'ailleurs je n'ai jamais vu un calme et une sécurité pareille à n'importe quelle heure. Le personnel est tres aimable et le petit dej est copieux (buffet). La vue n'est pas splendide mais le principal est de bien dormir non ? surtout que cela soit propre et […] que le calme soit présent. En rapport qualité/prix c'est vraiment bien. Party of 5 people, two double and one single room. All rooms spotless and cleaned daily. Bar was closed for what seemed like renovations. For the price the Hotel is great. The only real problem I had was that the beds for a double were two mismatched singles pushed together. Nice hotel located a short 10 minutes walk from citycenter with the main railwaystation and shopping streets. The hotel's immediate surroundings are a little sad, but that is clearly outweighed by the good location. Everything was super clean and neat. Room was conveniently furnished with 2 single beds that could easily be pushed together to form a […] "double bed". The hotel does not offer rooms with double beds. The hotel has its own parkingspace which costs 8 euro ekstra pr. 24 hours though. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Breakfast, which however was not included in the roomprice but cost 12.30 euros extra per. person consisted of a large and well-stocked buffet. The 12.50 euro was in our opinion well spent. This hotel was very good value for us as it was relatively cheap for a two night stay and we are fit enough to walk the considerable distance required to get anywhere. It is quiet and clean and we were very satisfied with the room. Sadly check-in and check-out were fairly stressful. I felt that the hotel were desperate to get more money from us and […] despite considerable discussion at check-in regarding no breakfast, one parking space for one night only, etc. attempts were made to charge us for breakfast and for parking that we had not used. "Clean & good value"
Hotel is very clean if somewhat spartan. Beware that a single room comes with a cot sized bed, narrower than a standard American twin size. This is not a criticism of the hotel, though, as this is not uncommon in Germany. The neighborhood could seem a bit creepy because it's practically deserted at night. However, your alternatives nearby are the roach […] motels in the seedy streets nears the central station, so at least this one is clean and quiet. If your evening plans are taking you out in the St. Georg neighborhood, this hotel is very close by and convenient. If you'll be spending your time in St. Pauli / Reeperbahn, then better to look for a hotel over there because this one would be a quite far. Pros: The hotel is placed in a comfortable walking distance to the city center. Free internet in the lobby. Cons: Constant noice from streets due to location between two major roads. "Arcadia Hotel Belmondo - Nowhere Near 4 Star"
I was meeting two colleagues, one from Sweden and one from Denmark in Hamburg to secure a deal with a client from Argentina. While not expecting the most luxurious Hotel for the price we are all accustomed to the quality synonymous with a 4 star rating. We were all very disappointed with this hotel. In fact on arrival before even going inside we agreed […] that we had to find another hotel for our client to stay in before he arrived. Various websites mentioned that Wifi was available in the rooms. This is technically correct as there is a local provider who charges per hour if you can get a room close to the router on each floor. The speed is hopeless and connection intermittent. There is a free access computer in reception but is hopelessly slow and the connection interrupted. We had all booked a room with single occupancy as we were each travelling alone. Never before have I stayed in a 4 star hotel where single occupancy means a very small single bed in a room too small to accomodate anything larger. Having said that I must agree that the room was clean and everything functioned correctly. The Restaurant area was small but adequate and the breakfast was ok. Location is fairly close to the centre and perhaps 10-15 minutes walk from the train station. The area is not great. We found many drunk and homeless people loitering beneath bridges and alleyways that you need to navigate to walk into the centre or just to the train station. All in all I think if we had booked a 3 star hotel we would have accepted that it just about qualified, but for a 4 star, in my opinion not even close. Lisez la suiteAvis véridique Hotels.com

Vi havde et godt ophold, kun 1 overnatning i 2 værelser, vi betalte for morgenmad da vi ankom, da vi kom ned næste morgen, sagde de at det kun var på vores ene værelse at morgenmaden var betalt :). "Schreckliche Lage, furchtbarer Service!!!"
Das Hotel is sehr schwer zu finden und befindet sich in einer unheimlich grauen, traurigen Gegend ohne was sehenswertes in der Umgebung, die auch keine gute Cafés oder Restaurants anbietet. Der Service ist sehr schlecht, besonders von der Rezeption (insbesondere ist der junge Herr, der dort arbeitet, sehr unfreundlich sowie unfelxibel!!). Ich bin schon […] um 10 Uhr am Hotel angekommen, wurde aber von diesem männlichen Rezeptionist auf unfreundliche Weise vermahnt, dass ich auf keinen Fall früher als 14 Uhr einchecken konnte, obwohl es ein Montag Vormittag war und die meisten Wochenendegäste schon abgereist waren!! "Mittelmäßig"
Der Service war bei der Ankunft sehr unfreundlich. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Hotel liegt halt direkt in der Nähe vom Bahnhof. Somit konnte man alles gut erreichen. Ist halt eine Großstadt und kein Sommerurlaub. Frühstück gab es für uns außerhalb, kann daher nichts darüber sagen.Avis véridique Hotels.com

Gute Lage für Bahnreisende, laute Strasse vor dem Hotel störte weniger als befürchtet. U-Bahn gut zu erreichen ubnd die Jungs an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war seine 7,50Euro pro Nase nicht wert: Buffet sehr spartanisch und Servicekräfte komplett überfordert (Kaffee kam gar nicht erst auf den Tisch, der Vorgänger hatte GottseiDank […] die Kanne stehengelassen). "Sehr zentral gelegen"
Wir hatten nur 1 Nacht. Gebucht waren 2 Zimmer zum gleichen Preis. Eins zwar groß, dass andere eher klein. Hier war auch das Bett viel kleiner. Das war nicht so toll. Die reservierte Freundlichkeit des Personals war in Ordnung. Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich fantastisch. Trotz Hauptstraße war ein angenehmes Schlafen möglich.
