Bon petit hôtel et calme. Il est très facile de se garer à proximité sans avoir à payer les 30$ de parking.

"Close to downtown area and medical center"
Stay was average, the hotel needs some renovation. windows in the rooms are not sealing the noise from the street. Staff was very helpful and courteous

"Very Clean but Door Lock Broken..."
We got to the hotel at nearly Midnight... very nice lobby. The only complaint we have is the door lock would not work. We were given a key card that would not work when we tried the door so my girlfriend had to stand at the door with all our bags waiting while I went back down the elevator to get a new key made. Back up the elevator to the room...farthest […] room from the elevator of course and guess what.... you guessed it!!! Still wouldnt work! Back down the hall to the courtesy phone to call the front dest again. This time they came up to the room only to try 3 cards of their own before deciding to use a master key and tell us that we need to use the deadbolt because the door wouldnt lock until the master was used again.... Frustrating and a waste of 20 minutes of back and forth. I would still stay there again in the future based on clean and comfortable but just an irritation that we encountered. Lisez la suite
"Decent for the price"
I called ahead to see if we could check in early and were told we could. Upon check-in the hotel clerk was very friendly and checked us in pretty quickly. When we went to the room, there was a do-not-disturb sign on the door but I still went in, thinking maybe it was a mistake. Thankfully, no one was in there but the room had not even been cleaned. […] It looked like people had just left the moments before. I went back down and told the hotel clerk, who apologized profusely and then rapidly gave us another room. Overall the stay was ok. The rooms are a bit older but for the most part, well taken care of. They are a little small and cramped but for 1-2 nights, it's not bad. The only concern I had was the one of the first things the clerk told me was to make sure and remove all my valuables from my car at night. Then after coming back from a club that night, there was an SUV blocking the side entrance so that we had to go around through the front along Hwy 59. My bf and I were curious about it because we saw some signs on the the SUV so we walked to see what it said and it just apologized for the inconvenience and to go around to the next entrance. When I asked the night clerk what was going on with that, he said they were trying to make it more secure by directing traffic and entrance to the parking area through only one way. SMH...but alas our car was ok in the morning and we checked out over the phone without a problem. Lisez la suite

"Four Points by Sheraton Houston Southwest"
the hotel is located rather close to a busy freeway. traffic noise is likely to cause problem for some people. there are no restaurants, coffee shops, or fast-food joints within a walking distance.

"Super clean"
Only issue was the television, some channels no volume (TNT). Everything had fees. But overall it was an excellent and quite stay.
"Close to MD Anderson Cancer Hospital"
The hotel staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. This was our second stay at this hotel because of the staff and cleanliness of the rooms. I had no wifi signal in the room and if I wanted to use my computer I had to do it in the bathroom. This should be checked out. I stayed in room 307.
"comfortable and quiet"
It was quiet and comfortable. I had a conference to attend and it was very easy to get downtown. Wifi was awesome and it felt almost like home.
Bar closed at 11pm on. Thursday when it was full.
"Didnt know what to expect"
The staff was amazing! Super nice. Prob best staff we have ever had at a hotel in the area. The hotel was clean. The rooms were nothing special, but everything exceeded expectations. Plan on staying here again next time
"Needs a little attention"
This is a great place to sleep, but the rooms continue to have small problems - bathtub not really clean, lightbulbs out, etc. Very convenient to 59 and 610. Very nice staff.

I stay at this hotel often enough to have a comprehensive view of it. And I will stay there again - gladly. But during this last stay I encountered some frustrating inconveniences that took away slightly from the experience. I was counting on the restaurant opening when it said it would because I needed a quick meal - It wasn't opened until quite a […] while after the advertised time, and so I missed my opportunity to eat before I had to leave. Then, my ice bucket didn't have a lid, so I asked two different custodians in the hallways for a lid, and neither one of them spoke English, and therefore I was just out of luck for the time being. "Convenient location."
Not the place to stay if you need tons of ammenities. Location is a bit noisy too due to location off freeway but that's to be expected with location. Close to great restaurants. Nicely updated fashion in rooms and very comfortable beds!
"right for the price"
We stay here a lot when coming back to visit Houston where we've lived. So, it's an older hotel that has been redone. Nicely appointed rooms and most are great size. It's issues.....mold on air vents and mold smell coming from bathroom sinks. I've brought it to the managements attention a couple of times. Most of it is cleaned well, but the mold (Houston's […] plague) is an issue sometimes.. Also, they could do to wipe the white vinyl bath walls between guests and deep clean the light switches sometime, ( they are old ivory). Most of the staff is really nice and attentive to your needs....only one or two that check us in that could use some friendly/smile coaching! Air conditioning in the summer is an issue at this hotel..so if you like it cold, stay elsewhere. It fits my price point and needs, so i overlook some things. They try to fill the business mostly weekday rooms on the weekend and offer good rates. The morning coffee is great as is the bottle of water that they hand you upon check in! Again there were problems getting ahold of someone who could give coherant directions. I had to stop twice in order to find the place. It sits only blocks from a major crime area and no one delivers food there. Pity. The room's general condition was good but there were no lights in the desk area which made working hard. I guess if you are just on a […] family lark this would be an alright place to stay but for that matter it is horribly overpriced. A lower end establishment would serve the same purpose and be out of the danger zone. For business forget it. Better off to find a place that spends more money on rooms and less on aesthetics. "HORRIBLE GUEST SERVICE"
Anniversary Stay: i went swimming and the pool was DIRTY and live bugs were flooting everywhere. I then got out only to realize my man was experiencing the same thing in the "gym". Not enough space and variety of equipment. We went to take baths and requested more towels and shampoo. They never came. After dinner, we went back to the hotel and realized, […] they StILL didnt come. We requested them AGAIN, only to never receive them. So they next morning we left to work. "Really??"
The hotel decided to use paint in the late afternoon and maintence forgot to turn on the exhaust fan. The rooms on our floor filled up with the smell which gave all of us a headache. The hotel was not overly excited to move us to another room. When they did the airconditioning was loud and the bed made terrible noises. "What happened to customer service"
Nice hotel but their we were, 4 deep in line with 1 guy checking everyone in and another employee with her head down on the other check in terminal plugging some data entry into computer. Could that not have waited, she was rude and had no intent to help ease the line of customers. Whatever she was doing was more important to her than checking in our […] out paying customers I guess. "Austin Four Points"
The room was small and the bathroom tiny. Someone tried to enter my room at 10:30 pm. They worked for the hotel I found out after calling the front desk since they did not identify themselves. Housekeeping did not refill coffee supplies.

Only one thing messed up what would be a much-better review... when I arrived, there was a tray filled with last night's dinner leftovers and dirty dishes... it sat there for 36 hours, until I carried it down to the front desk. Really?

"great but bad a/c"
The room was clean and everyone was friendly . I would stay again the only problem i did have was the a/c did not work well at night for some reason . It got so hot on both nights but kept the room quite cold during the day. Other than that everything was great.
"Four Points Sheraton"
This was our first time at a Four Points by Sheraton. The lobby carpet was dirty. Our bed did not have a fitted sheet and the toilet in the bathroom rocked! We are very displeased! I feel like the Sheraton name is misleading. Not a good choice!

No complaints at all. Room was nice. The shower was special with water jets, etc. The staff was very helpful. Right off the freeway.
"Nice modern rooms, but a bit noisy"
The rooms (and common areas of the hotel) are quite attractive with a modern design, looking more upmarket than the price would suggest. The rooms are also good size and comfortable. However, there was quite a lot of traffic noise from the highway outside, and some sort of background hum from the air con or whatever. The WiFi is free but not very fast […] or reliable. Loved the shuttle service and staff was terrific. Where do you get a free bottle of water anymore.
"The smell of smoke"
The hotel was great and the price was even better. My only comment if that when I opened the room door I could smell smoke and it was a non-smkoking room. I called housekeeping and they immediately came and sprayed with an air freshener. The hotel was will located to the things we planned to do and see.

"Sheraton four pounts - Houston"
We were there for the Houston Rodeo and made reservations far in advance. We had a MEDICAL EMERGENCY and had to leave a day early and I explained to the Desk clerk my situation and she told me that because I went through Hotels.com she was unable to reimburse me. I called Hotels.com and they said I would have to go directly to the Hotel in order to […] get a reimbursement. I had to get my daughter back to San Antonio ASAP so I called on my way home and was told that there was nothing they could do for me. I told the man it was not a early check out it was a medical emergency. He said that is considered an early check out. Wow!!! When people die is that considered an early check out???? Lisez la suite
My truck was almost stolen between 9-10am in the hotel parking lot at the same time another truck was stolen. Truck was undriveable and had to be towed 3 hrs home. Hotel staff only gave police number ask to talk to manger but he never spoke to me or the other fallibly the whole time sitting and waiting for hours. Them the police said auto theft happens […] a lot at this hotel. You would have thought the staff could at least given my daughter and I at least 2 drinks from the market area but NO. Has to pay full price for 2 sodas. The fact the manger never even tried to talk to us was unbelievable. Lisez la suite
