the hotel was great.... the people who work there were very nice and courteous....we enjoyed our visit very much and we will definitely go this holiday inn express hotel again in the future.

I liked the location, as it allowed my family a central loaction as we each have our favorite places to play in Deadwood!

The stay and service was overall good but there was what appried to be vomite on the ceiling and wall from some previous guests in room 314. Also could use a couple more tables and chairs in the lobby durieng the morning breakfest.

"Deadwood"
The bed was very comfortable, the pool area was clean and very nice, The breakfast was very good. The only complaint was that the parking was in the city parking garage about a block and a half away. The garage was secure and the hotel provided an access card but it was not convenient since required a walk to park the car after unloading and then another […] walk to get your car in order to check out. "Holiday Inn Express"
Loved it. Very comfortable beds and very quiet also. Staff was very accomodating and the continental breakfast was much more than I anticipated. I will definately stay here again. My husband loved it here too. Best place to stay that we have been to in a long time.

Great place, right in town! The manager upgrade our room and it was beautiful!

The continental breakfast was nice. Hotel rooms needed a good carpet cleaning. The hotel parking was 3 blocks from the hotel, not in the best neighborhood if you had to do any walking to or from at night. Not really up to standards of a Holiday Inn. The hotel staff was not present when checking in and had to wait.

This was a good experience, the only thing that I found that was a little off was the scrambled eggs for breakfast. They were a little undercooked but aside from that everything else was great.

Excellent hotel, Slept excellent. Hotel is right in the middle of all attractions. This Hotel had the very best continetal breakfast. Very quite.

My only problem with the Holiday Inn Express in Deadwood was that parking was 2 blocks away which made it difficult for my husband and I to get to and from our car.

I found the overall location, service, and cleanliness to be oustanding. The continental breakfast that was provided was really great and a nice surprise. Thanks to the Management and wouldn't hesitate to stay their again.

This hotel is right on the same street with the gunfight re-enactments, the saloon/restaurant with the Wild Bill Hickhock shooting re-enactment and just down the street a short walk to the re-enactment of the trial of the man who shot Wild Bill Hickhock. It is where the action is!
"Perfect location"
We only had one day to spend in Deadwood so staying in the center of downtown was perfect. The staff was nice & friendly and the breakfast was good enough to start your day.

Highly recommend. Awesome free breakfast, lots of space in room. perfect location of for getting the Deadwood experience. Extremely clean. The only downfall was parking, but they gave free pass for city parking lot.

Very basic accommodations. No windows. No restaurant, parking is a block away. No character. Casino is a few slot machines.

The Holiday Inn Express in Deadwood, SD was very nice. It is right downtown in the historic area with the restaurants and casinos so everything is in walking distance. The room includes free parking at a nearby lot and easy access curbside for checking in and dropping off luggage in room. Very friendly front desk staff. "HI Express Gold Dust Casino"
They need to update their website on HI Express as the sign at their desk says they do not allow pets contrary to the website pet policy of pets allowed in smoking rooms. Also, the road in front of the hotel was closed for an event making check in a nightmare. Parking is in a parking garage several blocks away which is also inconvenient.

Hotel was great and staff was very helpful. Casino right in hotel. Lots of shops and other casinos up and down the street. Would definately stay again.

"It's loud but the food is good"
The hotel walls are paper thin. We listened to two televisions all night on Saturday. You could hear people clearing their throat! That's thin walled. Called the front desk to find out if the rooms on either side were reserved for the next night. They weren't so we stayed. Sunday and Monday nights were quiet. So, if you don't have neighbors, over which […] you have no control, then you might get some sleep. The courtesy breakfast is the best I've ever seen, anywhere. You can have a cooked breakfast (steamtable) or the traditional FULL cold breakfast assortment. Staff were friendly and helpful but no one answered the phone after 10:30 when we were there. "Nice hotel in a great location"
Hotel is in a great location on Main St. The rooms were clean, comfortable and no problems with noise. I definitely would go back.

Nice hotel located right downtown Deadwood. Within walking distance of every casino. Beds comfortable and hotel was quiet.
