Très bon accueil des propriétaires et chambres spacieuses avec espace cuisine. Parking gratuit. Proche des commodités et du walk of fame.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Hollywood ,parking gratuit,connection internet moyenne dans les chambres meme si elle est gratuite,petit dejeuner compris et copieux,un frigo mais pas de coffre fort.Personnel très sympathique le seul bémol c'est que même les chambres non fumeur sentent le tabac froid sinon dans l ensemble séjours agréable pour 2 à 3 nuits maximum,ah oui petite piscine pour se détendre et ça aussi c'est toujours agréable .

Très bon compromis: qualité/prix, emplacement idéal à 1minutes à pied du Kodak Theatre et à la fois dans une rue calme. Jardin sur le toit très bien aménagé, piscine agréable, petit déjeuner délicieux (mention spéciale aux muffin), chambre grande avec cuisine, parking fermé - Bref ravis de notre séjour (4nuits). Les petits bémols: murs fins car vieux bâtiment et penser à demander une chambre sur cour et pas sur rue (c est quand même Hollywood Boulevard dont on parle : y a de la vie!!). C'était très bien!! Vraiment

Hotel classique au niveau des chambres. Parking assez grand. Bon avantage sur le placement à 2 minutes à pied du métro et à 5 minutes en voiture d'Hollywood Signs, des étoiles d'Hollywood Blvd, 15 minutes d'Universal Studios, de Sunset Strip, 30 minutes sans bouchon de Venice Beach et Santa Monica. Méfiance tout de même dans le secteur de l'hotel à la tombée de la nuit mais c'est pas non plus Bagdad...

Le hall de l'hotel est très beau, l'hôtel et les chambres sont propres, toutefois les WC de la suite étaient bouché, et après avoir tiré la chasse, les toilettes ont débordés (d'eau heureusement!!) résultat, 1cm d'eau de partout dans la salle de bain. incident déclaré à l'accueil. Il nous a tout simplement donné une ventouse pour déboucher !!!!!!! et […] des serviettes pour nettoyer!!!!!! les femmes de chambres n'étaient visiblement pas là en fin d'après midi et le personnel de l'accueil avait du oublié que nous étions des clients!!! un service déplorable. Le petit déjeuner n'a rien a voir avec la description, il se prend au bar du coin sans même un bonjour et un certain dédain, entre les journaux et les clients du bar, et mieux vaut ne pas être difficile ou avoir trop faim. "Dragon's Gate in Los Angeles"
The Good: 1) The room was very clean. 2) Staff was polite. The Not-so Good: 1) The room I had reserved, with confirmation number (2 queen-sized beds) was not available when I arrived. They asked if I would stay in a room with a king-sized bed. I agreed, but this would have been a problem had I been traveling with a companion. 2) There was a water leak […] in my room that the management apparently knew about, but rented the room to me anyway. There was standing water on the floor in front of the sink. They seemed to know about the leak when I reported it. 3) The "free" internet did not work at all: it required a data line for connection, which they provided on some recoil device. The data line connector was broken. The recoil on the data line would not hold in any position other than fully recoiled. When I manually held the connector in place within my computer jack, there was still no signal. 3) There was significant road noise. I suspect that this was due to single pane glass being used. 4) If you drive there, you must park in an alley and walk down the alley a few hundred feet to the corridor which leads to the lobby (safety concerns - I arrived after dark). 5) Once registered you must return to your car and drive down a tight, circular ramp to a basement where I was told a valet would park my car. I was given a slip to provide to the valet. There was no valet present when I arrived, nor when I left the following morning. In sum, my stay at the Best Western Plus Dragon's Gate Inn not a particularly pleasant experience. I won't be returning. Lisez la suite

Well located to the stunning LA railway station and Chinatown but an expensive ($61 US) cab ride from the airport. "Best Western Dragon Gate Inn- good value"
We booked a 1 night stay at this hotel for it's close proximity to Union Station. We traveled in on the train to attend a Dodger game, spending the night and then taking the train home. Overall the hotel itself is nice, a good value for the price. Staff was very friendly both at the hotel and at the cafe where you can get your continental breakfast. […] The room itself was very clean and well kept. The bed and linens aren't the most comfy or luxurious, but did the trick for a night at a great price. There were a few flies in our room that I think snuck in when we went out on the little balcony (that had a nice view of the hills and Chinatown by the way). I think the flies were hanging out outside our balcony by the near by restaurant- sneaky buggars! The neighborhood is busy and bustling during the day, but be aware- not a hoppin' area at night (nothing stays open all that late) and if you're looking for eats other than Chinese or delicious Phillepe french dips then you don't want to stay in Chinatown. :) I would stay here again if taking the train up for a Dodger game again. "Convenient for Union Station"
We picked this hotel for convenience, as an overnight stay and it was easy to get to from the airport and in the morning we got to Union Station for our onward journey in just a few minutes. a complimentary breakfast in a sunny courtyard was a welcome suprise before heading off. The location is a little dicey but not bad, the staff was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The bad item was the breakfast is served in a small store, which is not part of the motel but it is in the same building. The set up is really strange, the room available to move around the items and collect food is way to small and crowded. "Close to Dodger Stadium"
The room was clean and comfortable. The purpose of our trip was to attend Dodger stadium, and the hotel was four minutes away. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking fee was an irritation, but I felt that my vehicle was more secure being parked in the parking garage. There isn't much in the […] way of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, but, unless you are on foot, that isn't a big deal. The actual room was nice but we can hear the guests next door even when they sneeze. The elevators were a little confusing because you have to swipe then press your room number. when I first got out of the elevator It seemed like it was going to be pretty dirty because I didn't realize it was outside floor but when I got to my room I was very satisfying. Very clean, very comfortable, I would definitely stay here again.

At the current rates this was definitely good value for the money. The room is comfortable and the breakfast is fine to get you going. If you need to save money you could park at a garage nearby for half the price ($8 at BW). I would stay again when I need to be near the civic center.

Overall, great hotel, great rates, and service. The Free Breakfast was amazing, lots of free stuff! The ONLY issue we had was a $8/per night, per car FEE... This hotel was good although, as the name implies, it was right in the middle of Chinatown area. The service was good. All of the rooms opened up to an atrium area containing small shops that was pleasant to look down upon. The room housed a live Betta fish (Siamese Fighting fish) in a bowl which was interesting. "Locations is worth the money"
I pay the price for Dragon Gate because of its close proximity to Dodger Stadium. The room we checked into was a disabled persons room, no bathtub or shower stall, and it had water all over the floor when we checked in. The shower was a flat platform because of the aforementioned disabled persons room. We asked for a different room and were put on a […] different floor than our family. Has: Knowledgable front desk staff and efficient cleaning staff. Needs: Better elevator (way too slow) and vending machines. Better tracking of items billed to room, including parking. (A little bit of a hassle for business trips.) No good restaurants, bars, or shops in the area.
