A recommander.
Hotel a conseillé vivement 4.5/5

"Deaville Beach Ressort-Miami: Bonne qualité/prix e"
Agréable mais un peu loin de tout. Bus ou taxi pour se déplacer. Télévision inexistante dans la chambre. Piscine et plage agréables à quelques pas.
"The Deauville Beach Resort, Miami"

No enough parking space, needs tons of maintenance, terrible swimming pool...really expensive for what they offer...

"Not much of a resort"
When we arrived we where told the valet parking area was under construction and we'd have to park blocks away. One of the guys working the shuttle / valet area had me follow him to a parking lot where i paid to park over night and gave me a ride back, i think this guy was the best employee at the hotel, lol. Front desk didn't seem overly helpful and […] when we got there the elevators where broken and we had to take a service elevator up to our room, which just had sheets on the beds, no blankets or soap to be found anywhere in the room. Went down to the restaurant which claimed to have the 'Best italian food in miami' and ordered spaghetti that was so terrible i ended up opting out of it and grabbing a pizza across the street. Went back to the room to try and get some work done and the wifi was completely useless, couldn't load anything on it. Couldn't get the one channel i wanted to watch on tv even though their list of channels had it on there and when i went to try the restaurant again for breakfast i was informed they didn't have the actual breakfast menu we had saw the night before but we had the choice of the over priced breakfast buffet or the over priced continental breakfast. Couldn't check out of there fast enough. Lisez la suite

I discovered for the first time this hotel and i really liked because it had a huge lobby and big pool too. The beds needs to be updated in the room, not very comfy.,

"NEVER AGAIN !!!"
No parking available. Told to park about 1/2 Km away and take shuttle. Too bad there is NO shuttle. No assistance with luggage. About five or six employees standing around doing nothing. Room has not been updated since the sixties. Filthy floors. Paper thin walls and noise from next unit kepy us awake. Asked for and was moved to another room. Same problem. […] DO NOT GO HERE !! "Run away!!"
Do not stay here. This place is old, dirty, terrible parking, pool, rooms...shall I continue.
"No Parking at this Hotel"
The nearest parking to this hotel is a 15 minute walk away. Staff said there was a shuttle but we never saw one - and neither did anyone else who had to make the trek with small children. The public parking is free from 6pm to 8am - but you have to be back to feed the meter by 8am. Also, no towels for pool after 6pm. so hurry and use pool between 4pm […] (check in) and 6pm when the towels have to be returned. Great beach location and nice rooms, but staff absolutely NOT helpful. Lisez la suite
It was a little overpriced as far as the room goes but, it had a great location
"With a little work this hotel could rock!"
This hotel has all the bones to make it great but they are still trapped a little in the 50's. Although they are doing renovations it seems like they are doing it very piecemeal. Our room seemed to be remodeled but it felt like they got 90 percent done then just gave up. Making a great hotel is all about details and the Duvalle is short on detail. The […] lobby is amazing and the gym seemed pretty good. I could not log onto the internet from my room during my entire stay. I even called but the IT guy was not around and never called me to help either. I was told on my way out that it is easier to get online from the lobby. but I never tried. The pool is Huge and the water was warm but it is in major need of an upgrade. I love the fact that it is 9 ft deep but there is a lot of wasted opportunity with the great amount of space in that pool area. Again, a few million could make the pool area rock. I love the fact that it is on the beach. The beach is AMAZING! FYI you only get 2 lounge chairs on the beach per room. The Pool DJ was great and the people who worked there were friendly for the most part. There is a big problem with the parking. There is none. No Valet either. You have to drive 5 blocks to a city lot to park and the shuttle takes a long time. I would suggest after dropping off your suitcase just walk back to and from the lot. There are some good restaurants and little shops worth knowing about that you see on your walk. I believe that they are building a parking garage somewhere nearby but again I don't know when that is going to be done. For breakfast I would recommend walking two blocks south to where there is a NYC bagel place. You are about a 15 min drive to all the South Beach fun. Its no big deal and we got there fast on a Fri and Sat night. Overall I found the hotel charming and I had a good stay. I would love to see the owners put some cash into this place and turn it into a showplace. It could be great. Lisez la suite

"Another overpriced Beach hotel"
Overall, the hotel wasn't that bad but you are paying for the beach. Room was clean but really need to update the bedding and towels. Parking is a problem because their valet parking was full the whole time and had to park in a lot 5 streets up. Shuttle service was available.

"Don't believe the bad reviews"
I don't know why people have been reviewing this hotel poorly. For a hotel this old they are doing a great job of competing with the new super hotel market while offering a competitive price. The staff was great. The pool was fine. Loved the ocean view. Good location. If people want more, than pay more. But for a place to crash while visit Miami Beach, […] my cousins and I had a fantastic week. Book here without fear. I wouldn't hesitate to return. Lisez la suite

"Hotel very dirty"
When we arrived we drove up to valet. The rude attendent told us valet was full we would have to park in public parking 4 blocks away. You must be there at 8 a.m. every morning to pay or else you will get a $18.00 parking ticket. The rooms have no comforters only sheets and blankets that they probably got from the homeless shelter. They were nasty and […] uncomfortable. They were disgusting! The lobby had bugs in the furniture. Checking out we waited 45 minutes trying to get an elevator from the 8th floor to the lobby. Would not recommend. Lisez la suite
"Really good hotel"
The hotel was really good and with a good price
"win: the beach, not-so-win: everything else"
this is a weird one. First of all, there is NO hotel parking lot, so those of you that rent a car are SOL and are relegated to go to the public beach parking lot. This wouldn't be so bad except you had to feed the meter every 8 hours (and the lot does issue tickets and tow vehicles). ALSO, you have to remember to feed the meter by 8 am. Secondly, it […] takes the staff a long time to get you stuff. Asked for an extra mattress for a guest to sleep on...took them a day and some change to even acknowledge us. Thirdly, there were some ants that crawled up through the drain, but it was hot, and they were probably just after any source of sugar or water. On the plus side, they have an excellent location. It's right on the beach, and their pool has a great bar. There's a taxi stand near by, and there are restaurants that you can walk to. Our balcony was amazing and had a really awesome view of the ocean. All in all, a very dissatisfying experience service wise, but great location. Lisez la suite
"Hell No Deauville"
Power went out every morning and the staff did not care to explain or help with the situation. The windows were dirty AND the room was stinky. DO NOT STAY HERE TO SAVE YOUR LIFE!!!!
"Not a 3 start hotel- more like a 1 star- GROSS!"
I booked this hotel because the photos of it looked nice and the price was right. When I pulled up to the hotel in my rental car with 4 big bags- no one came to our service. We sat there for 5 minutes and then approached a bellman who told us that their valet had closed at 6pm and we would have to pay $20 per day to park in some far away lot and take […] a shuttle back to the hotel with all of our bags. The Bellman still did not help us with our luggage. He sat and stared at us like we were crazy for expecting help. The entrance of the hotel has a bunch of stairs- with NO ramp to roll suitcases up. So not only does the bellman not help, but all guests have to lug their bags up a flight of stairs before checking in. But wait- that is just the start. Once inside the hotel, most of the lights were off which was weird. We got to our room and here is what we found: 1. A large iron shaped burn in the carpet right in the middle of the room 2. ripped shredded carpet with exposed tacs which my friend stubbed her toe on 3. NO HOT WATER !????? 4. ripped, pealing paint off of the walls 5. dirty linens in bathroom 6. an hole cut in the floor with a rotting metal piece and some bolts sticking out. (Not sure what that was) DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Lisez la suite
"Deauville Beach Resort, Miami Beach"
This is a tired property that appears to be waiting to be torn down for re-development. Unfortunately we were there during Spring Break, and although there was not any serious partying to bother us, late returning guests noise in the halls echoed loudly, so that we were disturbed nightly. Chipped paint and tired furniture completed the picture.
"disapointed"
For me it was a big waiting my vacation in Miami however I was disapointed for that hotels quality, standards, accueil of reception...
"Nice! Steps to the beach!!"
Overall the hotel was very clean and nice. It was like stepping back into the 70's which was fine. The room had flat screen televisions and was very clean. It could be updated. You get two beach chairs and towels everyday. We hung out on the beach and pool so it was just awesome. Also there is a very nice beachfront path the we walked/jogged on every […] day. I would stay there again. Lisez la suite
"Stay there if you love retro style"
My husband and I love retro style, we can see the hotel renewal and the update at the room. But the designer or the manager did not use wisely of the lighting and the material on the wall. It should be nice if they put wall paper instead of just paint on top. Unfortunately we did not use the pool nor visit the beach because of the storm. The good thing […] was a drug store at the corner and convenient to find restaurant there. Plus the partial view of Miami city with water. Lisez la suite
NO hot water, unexplained power outages, rude staff, (but that just seems to be Miami in general, NO blanket on bed, just a sheet. stay well clear
There was no parking, the parking lot was 5 blocks away, they did offer shuttle to and from the parking lot. I was on my honeymoon and found out that the hotel was hosting a gay convention. I have nothing against gay people but that is not the way I had planned on spending my honeymoon watching a hotel full on gay guys making out all in the hotel, the […] pool, the hot tub & the beach. My husband was so disgusted that we did not enjoy our honeymoon at all. In the future Hotels.com should find out if a hotel is hosting an event so they can inform the customer of any activities that is going on. If I had known that, that convention was going on I would have never booked my honeymoon their. I am so upset about the whole thing. Lisez la suite
You get what you paid for! Although the hotel is old it is decently kept, we arrived early around2:15 and we were able to check-in right away. We had two rooms booked and the check-in staff was pretty nice; maybe because we spoke Spanish too. The pool area is big and the resort price included two beach chairs and four towels per room. The bar was a […] little expensive but what else can you ask for its right by the beach, maybe just bring your own! I was charged 40 bucks at arrival on my credit card but was cleared out within three business days and didn’t have to pay anything extra. We also checked-out about two hours late due to the time change. The only negative feedback was the cleaning lady knocking at the door at 9AM asking when we were leaving. Lisez la suite
"cool spot to chill"
especially if ya' like the Beatles! Rooms were fresh & clean. The hotel needs to do a little TLC when it comes to painting & caulking bathrooms, hallways etc.. Beds need a bit of upgrading & they could put a lil' more effort into making the DEAUVILLE a "Retro Beatles Ed Sullivan Appearance Re-Visited Experience". How about some new stylish framed photos […] everywhere and hooking up the Napoleon Ballroom with some Ed Sullivan / Beatle memorabilia etc. This was an historic appearance & theres a LOTTA beatle fans that would find it very cooool. thanks folks : ) Lisez la suite
"On the Beach"
Older Hotel with nice location and eateries in walking distance. Did not like the beds as they were old and linens were worn.
"Deauville Beach Resort--not the "nicest" place"
Okay, I'm from Miami, so I know that Miami is not known for its friendly people. The minute we arrived at the Deauville, we realized that we shouldn't expect anything different. It doesn't say it anywhere on the website, but you are required to park about 5 blocks from the hotel (no valet). The non-valet person wouldn't event take the time to explain […] to us where to park or where to catch the shuttle. My husband waited for 30 minutes in a dark parking lot by himself in Miami Beach trying to find this shuttle. Also, the hotel bathrooms and the pool areas are completely run down and out of date. On a good note, the location is beautiful, if you're looking for a great beach location. There are plenty of restaurants around as well. If we didn't have an ocean view room, I don't think I would have enjoyed our stay at all. Lisez la suite
"Nice to see Oceanview"
Very close to the beach and easy to see Ocean. There is no parking lot. You have to use public parking lot. That is big problem.
"Hotel is too old and needs work"
The hotel was clean but it has not been updated in the last 20 + years. You are a long walk, bus or cab ride from south beach so pay the extra money and stay in a hotel in south beach. We had to change rooms because the first night we could hear everyone who walked by our room - the walls are thin !!! We moved to a room at the end of the hall and they […] are nice to move us but acted like they were doing us a favor. As I said the hotel was cheap but clean so you get what you pay for. "What century is it?"
This hotel looks updated, in the lobby, but the room looked like the last renovation it received was in 1970. It was old and run down. Should have taken it as a sign when we pulled up and had to request the valet to do their job. When we came back after dinner they wanted me to park 6 blocks away and only the fact that I had a sleeping child in my car […] convinced them to assist me. The only good thing was room service. They delivered a menu, the food came up fast and hot and was delicious. Won't stay here again. Lisez la suite
