The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice. Nice breakfast assortment. The only negative was the size and configuration of the bathroom. Very small, low water pressure in shower, toilet didn't flush properly, and no mirror in bathroom.

"Enjoyed our stay"
It was just what we needed a good price, free wifi in our room and continnetial breakfast room. Close to ECU
"problems with rooms"
Although I was pleased with the hotel overall I was unhappy with the fact that I ordered queen beds and was given rooms with full beds. I also did not like that one of the rooms had a strong smell of cigarette smoke and I was told that my rooms would be smoke free...since I had traveled far and had my father's funeral to attend I did not have time or […] energy to make a fuss about these issues. "Jameson Inn Greenville NC"
Stayed at subject hotel for one night while attending a conference. The first room I was given smelled of smoke even though it was supposed to be a smoke free room. The 2d room was apparently close to some hangout for young folks with heavy bass emanating from their automobiles until the police cams to move them on....but not before chirping their sirens […] multiple times in the middle of the night. This is my second stay in a Jameson in NC. It's a nice hotel and I would stay again if needed.

Front desk was professional. Room was clean. Breakfast was ok. What else could one ask for?

The staff at this inn was GREAT. We didn,t have one complaint. Our stay was just fine and all was as advertised. The breakfast was just fine and adequate. .Where as we have stayed at other places a few times , we will return to Jameson Inn as needed. Sincerely; Stan
"Jamison in Greenville, NC is very adequate"
I haven't been disappointed yet at the Jamison in Greenville, NC. While this is no 5 star, for Greenville, it's a great stay. Beds are very comfy and rooms are very clean. Also am impressed at the desk staff's assistance when you need something. Would definately recommend and we've stayed here multiple times while our student is at ECU.

This Hotel was great for my son our dog and me. The Hotel staff was extremely friendly ad accomodating.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. The grounds were well maintained. They offered a continental breakfast but we didn't partake in that because the bed was so comfortable we didnt want to get up.

The Jameson is our favorite hotel in Greenville. The rooms are clean, the housekeeping is terrific, breakfast is nice, the front desk staff is courteous and attentive, and best of all, the swimming pool is just what the family needs after a long trip from PA or a long, active day in the North Carolina heat! Stayed here several times in the last 4 years. First time I was disappointed. The first room we were given reeked of smoke with a nasty, perfumey smell over it. Though it was clearly marked "no smoking," it was obvious that they had. Given a new room that was satisfactory. Cleanliness was good. Air conditioner was very loud. There is a 2nd floor balcony […] and heard kids running on it late at night. The room next to me had a man cursing on the phone late at night at and 5:00 a.m. This went on for hours. The Jameson was small but clean. However, the water pressure in the shower was so low that I could barely get my shampoo rised out. The breakfast was fine as well.

"Adequate"
For the cost this is an adequate motel. It is in a good part of town (along with the other hotels of the area) and I felt safe. The room set my allergies off (that is not hard to do), but if felt pretty clean. Breakfast was typical (cereal, bagels and a waffle machine). If the cost was significantly less than the other places in the area I would stay […] here again. If the other guys were within 20 dollars I would probably try a different one next time. "Money's worth but..."
For the most part, it was worth what we paid. We didn't stay for breakfast due to other obligation so I can't say anything about that. The room was fairly well done. However, the chair in the room really needs a good cleaning. The bed was really comfortable and the rest of the room was just fine.
