It was inexpensive.

Convenient but not good service at all. Rooms should have microwaves and mine did not so I could not warm my food I brought into the room. No remote control for the TV which is unheard of. Their response " We'll have to find you one because we are out of them and the order did not come in" WTH? Where does that happen? Shouldn't all Tv's in rooms have […] a remote to go with them? My family and I were in Dallas for 4 nights for a church activity the location was very convinient for us not to mention the kitchen it was a big plus for us because eating out all those days and so late at night would have been hard on our finances. Thanks Homestead.

Upon my arrival I received very poor service from the young man on duty and at my check out time I had even worse service from young lady. I wish people really screen who they hire very rude and unprofessional in this industry is not a good look at all. Greeting me would have been great but I did not get that welcome at all. While not the most modern and update, they do try. I found Marcus to be most helpful and friendly. I did request a remote for the TV that never showed up and the afternoon person was short but somewhat polite. Overall good for the price and close to what I needed.

They gave me a room key didn't work.The only way they could accomadate me was with a handicap toon

hotel homestead in Dallas was a great place to stay. It was convenient to every where in the city of Dallas. and the location is comfortable and safe. The quality of the room exceeded the low price.

I quess a perfect example of you get what you pay for. Room was small and not very acceptable at all.

So check in as at two so i get there and they tell me that they have no rooms ready...they said come back in a hour or two...really check out at ll and check in as at 2 you should have a least 1 room ready...then the dish were dirty...and the people next to us keept slaming their door close....then there trash was stinky and building up...and the bed […] was hard as a rock...it was more comfortable on the floor...sad... As I pre-paid with Hotels.com I would not to give the hotel clerk my credit card for "other charges." With no in-room services, no movies on demand and nothing to charge, I refused. I told the young man to check with his manager. After the thrid time of telling him this, he called his manager who said "not a problem." I was tired. We found parking for our trailer and unloaded all of our gear and finally found the office. They could only find one reservation, they finally found both. THEN..... we had to load everything back into van and drive to another hotel. It was late, I was tired and it was unreasonable to sell us a hotel that didn't have what we need us, so […] then send us to another..... Don't sell the hotel if you don't have the amenities. It wasted another 45 minutes of my time, I was tired and I could have been sleeping. In the end we were supposed to have two beds in the room and we didn't have that either. Hotel room was not cleaned. found dirty used wash rags in the bathtub. not very sanitary.

While the amenities are there: kitchenette with full refrigerator (ice trays pre-filled!!!), a pot, pan, and dishes in the cabinet, the mattress was hard, TV reception was horrible, and the tub was not inviting. A disappointment for sure.

The lady working the front desk from the moment i checked in to the moment i checked out had a nasty attitude. The room was okay , just okay. It was good for the price but I will DEFINATLY never stay there again.

this hotel needs a serious remodel. my linens had cigarette holes the baseboards were covered in dust the tv is from the 80's no extra pillows in the room

My fiance' and I stayed @ the Homestead Studio Suites, and the experience was great. Very friendly staff, very clean rooms with a mini kitchen & full size refrigerator. We actually cooked on Sunday after church, The suite was equipped with cooking ware (pots, forks, spoons, spatula, cups, plates, & bowls. I reserved nonsmoking room and was given a smoking room. When I asked for resolution of issue the clerk said it says it was non-smoking sorry we do not have anything comparable.

real great rooms and we had great rates as well. good location as well. we will be staying there again.

This hotel is not terrible, but is in line with the low price...would spend a little extra on a different hotel next time

Went for OU/Texas, and found for the price I was totally satisfied with this hotel.

the bed was to hard it was so hard that it woke me up ever two hours in pain I had to turn over and go back to sleep great location, great staff EZ to get to BUT THE BED IS TO HARD

I arrived at 2:00 p.m. intending to check in. The inforation on the Hotels.com site said the check-in time was 2:00 p.m. Upon arrival, I was told at the desk that that was a mistake and that check-in time was 3:00 p.m. No rooms were available at that time. Scary looking people staying there. My card key wouldn't work it iwas 11:30 at night I had to go back to the desk 3 times before I could get in my room. Did not feel safe at all. Would never stay there again...

This was the worst experience in a hotel! We were welcomed to our DIRTY room with rat droppings, shampoo dried in the tub from the last guest and a used syringe with a pack of cigarettes in the cabinet. When I called guest services to report the syringe I was given the run around and finally someone showed up to remove it from my room. The guest service […] associate asked how I found it in my cabinet and why I was looking in the cabinet. No call from management no concern for the safety of others. The rat dropping and dirty room is one thing the syringe is another. This is a major health risk. I am thankful I did not have my children with me at the time. To me this is uncalled for! I understand you cannot control what guest do in the rooms but housekeeping should have caught on to this and if not management should have offered a clean room or apology. The room is clean enough for this level hotel. It's convenient for self cooking. Internet access is fast enough for sending/receiving email and checking map...for only $4.99 (Plus tax) for your duration. Good location: I had a five days training course at Lincoln Center, a few miles distance and never had traffic as driving on the local... I will return […] again to it in my next visit to Dallas! The rate was cheap enough, the room was small but clean except the closet shelf broke after I placed some shirts on it and could not get maintenance to fix it. I had to place towels in the refrigerator to keep the water leaking from the freezer to not get on my food. The bed was harder than a rock. Location was great. Neighborhood was very nice. The […] day shift staff was very caring and thoughtful, unlike the 11p-7a who I must have woken up to check in at 2am. She was rude, unhelpful and lacked in basic customer service skills. We told them we needed 1st floor due to medical and had to fight with her to understand this. The location and neighborhood were fine but the room was seriously dirty. The linens were soiled: dirty sheets and the pillowcases had make up on them. There were burn holes in the bedspread and blanket. Most disturbing was the dingy towels. I could not tell if they were just extremely worn or just dirty like the bed linens. The hotel was very convenient and affordable and clean but inside the rooms it looks a little old and the bed was a little hard and squeaky.

We ended up in a smoking room where the smell of smoke was very strong (after getting the confirmation that it was a non-smoking room). The staff who checked us in was AMAZING, she apologized for not being able to provide a non-smoking room, and made the check-in very easy. Stay away!!! This place is a mess!

Well I think they should work on their customer services the check out lady wasn't so friendly she didn't smile or greet me at all and they didn't have my room ready when I came to check in instead I had to get a smoking room which I hated the smell and the room she gave me the AC wasnt working so I had to wait and hole hour to recieve another room […] THE SERVICES was horrible but the hotel was okay Lisez la suite

Basic hotel with kitchen. Located off the North Central expressway at Coit and close to many venues. Front Desk needs to be upgraded in both service and appearance. Clean room that is a value and adequate.
