Très bon accueil des propriétaires et chambres spacieuses avec espace cuisine. Parking gratuit. Proche des commodités et du walk of fame.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Hollywood ,parking gratuit,connection internet moyenne dans les chambres meme si elle est gratuite,petit dejeuner compris et copieux,un frigo mais pas de coffre fort.Personnel très sympathique le seul bémol c'est que même les chambres non fumeur sentent le tabac froid sinon dans l ensemble séjours agréable pour 2 à 3 nuits maximum,ah oui petite piscine pour se détendre et ça aussi c'est toujours agréable .

Très bon compromis: qualité/prix, emplacement idéal à 1minutes à pied du Kodak Theatre et à la fois dans une rue calme. Jardin sur le toit très bien aménagé, piscine agréable, petit déjeuner délicieux (mention spéciale aux muffin), chambre grande avec cuisine, parking fermé - Bref ravis de notre séjour (4nuits). Les petits bémols: murs fins car vieux bâtiment et penser à demander une chambre sur cour et pas sur rue (c est quand même Hollywood Boulevard dont on parle : y a de la vie!!). C'était très bien!! Vraiment

Hotel classique au niveau des chambres. Parking assez grand. Bon avantage sur le placement à 2 minutes à pied du métro et à 5 minutes en voiture d'Hollywood Signs, des étoiles d'Hollywood Blvd, 15 minutes d'Universal Studios, de Sunset Strip, 30 minutes sans bouchon de Venice Beach et Santa Monica. Méfiance tout de même dans le secteur de l'hotel à la tombée de la nuit mais c'est pas non plus Bagdad...
Situation
Homestead Los Angeles - Torrance se trouve à Torrance (Beach Cities), à proximité des sites suivants : Redondo Beach Pier, King Harbor Marina et Centre commercial South Bay Galleria. Marineland compte également parmi les sites touristiques de la région.

Not suited for romantic escapes but perfect otherwise. The staff was friendly, the neighborhood safe, the room clean and spacious. The washing machines inside the hotel are definitely a plus! Great for the value.

The best compliment that I can give to a business establishment is in the form of repeat business. I am back, one week from the stay that triggered this review. (This review is actually being written while seated at a desk in my "Homestead" hotel room).

"homestead...overall "ok""
The pet price isn't included in the total booking...I had to pay seperate.. the smoking room came with no ashtray...there isn't daily room service.. u have to stay more than a week...it was okay though because I didn't want anyone around my personals.. the overall stay was good I enjoyed myself...surrounded by lots of places... "New years vacation"
Great location, close to plenty of shops and restaurants. Beach is very close, 40 min walk if your an active person. Had a few ants in the bathroom. Bring your own pillows.

Be aware of lots ants! They bite you when u sleep! Requested to change the room but they told all the rooms are same! It was nightmare!

Nice hotel hotel and great service. The price was reasonable. Will recommend this hotel. Only issue is that the hall way smells like cigarette, but room doesn't .

"Weekend Stay in Torrance"
This is a very nice hotel. Very clean. Quiet. Secure location. Large rooms, plenty of lighted parking and close to many restaurants and the mall just 1/4 a mile away.

We had to be out of our house on short notice during renovations, and not only was this convenient to our home, the staff was extremely helpful (especially Anny!). We also had to bring our small dog, again on short notice mind you, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The lobby and our suite was very clean and most of all comfortable. "Bring a mattress..."
The hotel is clean and the staff is average. It might be located next to a fire station because one day there were sirens almost every other hour. Bring a mattress because the one we had appeared to be second-hand from a roach motel. While you're at it bring pillows. "It served our purpose"
This is an extended stay hotel, so there's no housekeeping service, which is fine because I don't like strangers in my room with my things anyway. The room needs to be updated and new mattresses, but my family slept well. I have no definite complaints to make.
The hotel was in a good location close to restaurant so I didn't have very far to drive.

If you are looking for full service, this is NOT your hotel. Free maid service is once a week; daily for a fee. In essence, this is a studio apartment without a lease. Location is central to all of the South Bay. Hotel staff is pleasant and helpful, but the guest has to ask for everything they want. For example, remember to ask for dish washing soap. "Homestead in Torrance"
I've stayed in this hotel earleir and the over all conditoin and service has drastically detriorated. No soap/shampoo in room, no coffee replenishment. You need to go down to the lobby and ask for the consumables. And if you walk in late, there is no one at the service desk. They change bedsheets only once a week and do not service the room at all during […] the week. Stale musty smell in the corridors. No remote for the TV. Would not want to stay there again. Receptionist had an attitude. The room was reeking with cigarette smoke. Would not stay there again under any condition....except if there was an earthquake.

HLA is a located in Torrance. Very quiet environment! Very relax! close to sea and HW access. HLA is cool nice size building. Room is also appropriate size & clean!

"Smelled terrible"
I requested a non smoking room and when the attendant told me I was on the third floor I knew something was wrong. When I questioned the attendant, he said that was the "ONLY" room left. IT SMELLED TERRIBLE !!!!

Wow the beds are horrible ! I felt evey spring in the bed and I was able to see the springs pushing up from the bed . The pillows were hard ad a rock just stuffed with cotton sewn in.

The place was clean. If you're staying a few days, housekeeping will cost you extra. The beds are WAY firm - like, a step up from sleeping on a floor, firm. Hard. I think my ribs and shoulder were sore the following day LOL The place was fine for just crashing after a concert and didn't want to do the drive home. Wouldn't stay here more than a day […] though. "Less than I thought it would be"
I was unsatisfied with the condition of the room. We had a sofa sleeper, and there were no sheets in the room or pillow cases. Called to front desk to bring some, and they never arrived and we had to go get them. Next morning found bugs in kitchenette sink and there was no Iron in the room. The desk person did bring the iron but that delayed us from […] leaving waiting on it. Then at 11:05am the manager was at our door reminding us that check out time was 11:00. I had to tell her why we were late leaving because we were waiting on the iron. Comfy bed, helpful staff, clean rooms, and unlike many other 'self catering' accommodations, they actually provide things like pots and pans, cutlery and crockery, we have stayed in almost 20 places this trip and this one was the best catered in the price range. "In the middle"
This hotel suited our needs better than we had expected, really easy to get to, good places to eat nearby, easy access to shops cinema and redondo beach. We stayed here as part of a road trip and for what we wanted from LA this was perfect, with switched on, knowledgable and helpful staff who knew the area well, it was also a nice neighbourhood, so […] we felt comfortable being out and about. Other places we have stayed along the way we have taken the car even from chalets to reception (for safety rather than lazy) but there are lots of amenities nearby which we felt comfortable to walk to, everybody we met was really friendly. If we do come to stay in LA we will stay here again for sure. Also, a lot of the places we have stayed have advertised themselves as self catering, meaning they have a microwave and a fridge, here they had Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Clean - new looking cooker, kitchen stools, coffee perculator, but unlike anywhere else we have stayed they also had pots, pans crockery and cutlery, we have been in USA for 3 weeks on our road trip staying somewhere different almost every night, this place was unique in its provision. "Great hotel for the price."
Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Friendly and accommodating staff, clean rooms, great location. And, pet friendly with very reasonable pet fees. We will definitely stay here again. We requested for early check-in because we had a 2pm funeral all the way in Burbank and room was ready when we arrived at 12:30pm.

It was a nice place to stay for the short time I was there. My room was clean to my and the refrigerator did NOT smell! The only problem I had was foul smell in the hallways one day. Since there are electric burners/mini stove range in each room, I think someone was cooking something they really shouldn't have been cooking (like fish). "Close to our relatives house."
We went down to see relatives and chose a location close by. It turned out to be a great place, friendly, clean, and really close to all the restaraunts and shopping. Plus not to far from the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will stay here again in the near future.
