Tres bien : propre, chambre agréable avec frigo, supermarché à quelques minutes à pieds ( parfait pour les picnique), et metro à 5 mn sur une ligne assez fréquentée. En 10 mn de metro, on est en plein centre ville. Il y a visiblement une navette de l'hotel qui emmene les clients a l'aeroport, mais nous n'avons pas teste ce service. Un seul inconvénient : l'autoroute est vraiment proche.

accueil super, service parfait : pour un hôtel prés de l’aéroport, très facile de rejoindre le centre ville de boston. L’hôtel met à disposition un parking gratuit et un service de navette pour l’aéroport ou pour la station de métro la plus proche ("Wood Island", environ 5mn) puis 7mn en métro pour gagner le centre ville et retour. Les chambres sont grandes et propres, petit déjeuner copieux. tout est bien sauf l'emplacement, au bord d'une route (4voies) très fréquentée et très bruyante surtout au 7eme étage. Cependant, les avantages l'emportent sur les inconvénients. A recommander. Réservation faite au dernier moment, deux jours avant d'arriver sur Boston. Hôtels.com très performant.
"Homestead Boston Waltham - Heck, It's Cheap!"
Expect some inconveniences during your stay. The receptionist acted as if he'd known me for 25 years (he insisted on calling me by my first name). There's no 24/7 desk service - after 11 PM, you'll need to use your room key card to enter the building. Pray that yours will work, because mine did not. I had to call the night shift help on the house phone […] (located in the vestibule) in order to gain entry. After I was let in, the lady said that she would re-scan my card key, but alerted me that the card still may not let me enter the room (she was correct). I returned to the desk, at which time the lady informed me that she had realized her initial mistake and would once again re-scan my card, adding that if the card still did not work, she would issue me a new card (fortunately, I didn't have to go back for a second time). The room (a fully - stocked, no - smoking kitchenette with queen - sized bed) was clean enough, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large enough (the shower curtain had 2 holes in it; however, the mirror was HUGE). The coffee maker and the free bag of coffee (more available at cost) came in very handy in the morning, and tasted better than "OK." Located next door is a Hilton Suites property that costs twice the price of the Homestead. Should you feel the need to be pampered and are willing to pay a higher price for it, stay next door; however, if all that you're looking for is a roof over your head at a good price, the Homestead Boston (Waltham) will fit your needs. "Internet was terrible"
the wireless internet was terrible, it was so slow that i coudn't get any work done and had to 9 miles away to barnes and nobel to get any work done. it was a good room and semi close to where i had to go, it was a good room for what i paid.

"Dont go to the Homestead hotel unless you have to"
This hotel was really bad, the service people were rude, the location of the place is horrible, if you dont have a car, you'll suffer the most, cause there is nothing within walking distance except for Dunkin donughts and a sandwich shop. the internet access was the slowest i ever had, so overall, dont go to this place unless you want to save money […] and your willing to lower your standards... a lot. "Kitchen good: but housekeeping did not clean room"
House keeping should have clean the room everyday. When we went home at night, our room smelled like garbage coz our trash was not thrown out and our room was not clean. There were no shampoo or toothpaste either.

The service and people was fair at best. the room was just ok and had problems each day we were there. No real restaraunts near by especially where breakfast is concerned.

This was a good spot for my purposes. You need to schedule the room service, which I guess is common in extended stay facilities but not what I was familiar with. The room has a full refrigerator, and a mini kitchen, and if you are working at a few of the companies right in the complex nearby, this would be the most convenient place ever. inconvenient, hard to find location, with almost no nearby amenities although one of the best values in the greater Boston area
"Comfortable stay"
We chose the hotel as it was fairly close to Alewife by car, so we could leave the car and take the train into Boston for the day. Surprised to find a private kitchen facility including a full sized fridge, microwave, stove top, sink, basic cooking utensils and even a breakfast bar. Very comfortable stay.

This Hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was really close to Fenway Park, and the Restaurants around it were awesome!!!

Entry, hallways, elevator very plain and dated. Room was mediocre. Beds were not comfortable. No housekeeping unless you stay for a week.

Although conveniently located just off the highway, the cost per night does not justify staying at this hotel due to its overall rundown condition. need to ask front desk for shampoo, dish soap, etc, but toiletries given cheerfully. Odd that there was no mattress pad--just a sheet between me and the other patrons' possible body fluids.

The hotel was way over priced for the service it provided. The lady at the front desk was rude. The room was OK.. I had to pay $5 to use the Internet! Who does that??? Hotel was clean and the room was nice. We received an upgrade because they did not have a non-smoking room at our original selection. Management was courteous and helpful.

First - Service is outstanding... we were treated respectfully and politely. We ordered a non-smoking room. The room we got on the first floor was supposed to be a non smoking room (had the signs and everything) but smelled like a chimney... sheets, covers, towels, carpet smelled like a cigarette shop. We could not stay there. The hotel was full so […] we could not get a different room. The hotel staff was kind and professional enough to move us to the nearby extended stay (sister hotel) that was excellent. Hotel ist sauber, Zimmer sind groß. Gegend ist sicher. Ohne Auto wenig empfehlenswert, da im Umkreis nur Autobahnen, Hotels und Einkaufzentren sind. Nichts zum Spazierengehen. Boston City in ca. 30 Minuten zu erreichen. WLAN Qualität ziemlich schlecht. Voll ausgestattete Küche war erst etwas ausgestattet, nachdem wir Geschirr holten. In Summe aber […] ok, würde dort wieder übernachten. Gute Alternative zu den sehr teueren Hotels in der Innenstadt von Boston. Lisez la suite
