Best Western Plus Independence Park Hotel - Philadelphie

Très bel hôtel en plein centre de Philadelphie, situé dans une des rues les plus animées. Acueil très chaleureux et souriant. Les chambres sont propres, hauts plafonds, bien qu'un peu petites. L'hôtel est dans un ancien bâtiment historique et a conservé tout le charme d'époque ! (grand escalier en bois, cheminée, meubles anciens...)

Après une nuit d'insomnie à New York nous avons particulièrement apprécié cet hôtel pour sa tranquilité et son confort. Avons moins apprécié le système de chauffage

hôte bien situé, sans surprise. Café, thé et cookies à volonté. Un seul regret, les traditionnelles gaufres du petit déjeuner étaient payantes ?? un peu "petit" compte tenu des pratiques habituelles

Comme son nom l'indique, l'hôtel est en plein coeur du site historique qui regroupe tous les monuments liés à l'indépendance des USA. Idéal donc pour les visites. Un peu éloigné en revanche du centre animé avec bar, restos et boutiques. Il faut compter simplement 15 minutes à pied pour atteindre les premières boutiques sympa. L'hôtel est assez vieux […] mais avec du charme puisqu'il fait partie des hôtels historiques américains. Le service est bon. Beaucoup de charme, le personnel est accueillant. Les chambres sont très jolies. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. C'est une très bonne adresse !

I was staying in Philadelphia for a conference and this looked like a good place to stay near enough to the convention center, but also near historical sites. I was amazed by the friendliness of the staff. They went above and beyond to make guests happy. I will definitely stay here whenever I visit Philadelphia!

Fully enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Independence Park Hotel. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms quiet and the staff very helpful. This small hotel was in the middle of the historic district, food, shopping, and tours. Everything was in walking distance even for this senior citizen and we had no trouble walking around in the evenings. […] The breakfast was very good, and they provided fresh fruit daily along with tea and delicious cookies on Sunday. This is a great hotel, situated in easy walk to" must see and remember" historic sites! Great restaurants and pubs all around the hotel! The hotel was very nice in a style of the neighborhood; the staff was friendly and knowledgeable; (better than I expected from a Best Western)... This hotel was very clean and cute. It had the feel of a boutique hotel and the staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good and location was great. It's next to a ton of bars and restaurants. I'd stay there again!

More like a B & B than a major chain hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a must stay again hotel! It had the feel of a small hotel/bed and breakfast style but elegance of a high end hotel. It was very clean! The service was above and beyond. Bathroom was superb. Plenty of towels and very clean. Plenty of places/choices to eat. Complimentary breakfast was good as well. We booked this at the last minute because we […] decided to stay in town overnight. THE WELCOME STAFF WAS GREAT, HOWEVER THE COOKING STAFF WAS A BIT INAPPROPRIATE WITH THEIR CONVERSATIONS IN DIRECT EARSHOT OF GUESTS.

The hotel was clean and nice. Parking was avaliable in a parkade close by, normal I believe for all hotels in this section. It's was close to most of the important sites.

I had been nervous about staying in Philadelphia but found the hotel to be in a safe, conveninet zone with safe parking around the corner. It is close to the historic area of Philadelphia as well as being a very walkable city. The hotel staff were great and the room was perfect in every way.

Lynn at the front desk could not have been nicer. The manager also had a cheese and wine special that was available for everyone in the lobby for a few hours. I was very happy with the location. We parked the car and walked everywhere for the next couple of days. Plus 24 hour parking was only$18.00 around the corner.

Great little hotel. The staff might be the most attentive of any hotel I have stayed in. The room and facilities were comfortable and clean. The location is ideal if you are wanting to explore the Independence Park or the waterfront areas.

The hotel was nice, location was nice, parking garage about half a block away. Was a bit disappointed that they weren't willing to make any accomodations for a late check out; I was there for the Philly marathon and wanted to change before leaving for a couple hour road trip back home.

Nice historic hotel that was clean, & comfortable with a helpful staff and good breakfast. Close to Independence Hall and other historic sights. Free wine and cheese Wednesday evenings. Excellent selection.

This hotel is next to all of the Independance Mall items like the Liberty Bell, etc. Close to many great bars and restaurants. Had a great visit! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! They gave us a 2 for 1 coupon for a fun dinner at the City Tavern. Awesome!

The rooms were very clean, a bit small but only needed a place to rest and shower! Worth the price and location. No on site parking but a public lot is right around the corner. I would stay again.

First-timers to Philadelphia, we wanted to stay within walking distance to the historical sites, as well as a variety of restaurants. We could not have picked a better location. If you are looking for a simple no frills place to stay with an excellent staff, clean rooms and convenient to all of the history of Philadelphia, this is the hotel to stay. Since it is in an old building the rooms are small compared to more modern hotels but very well detailed with bedding, furniture and bath. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Old City. The staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable, if small. There were tea and cookies in the lobby. The only thing I'd complain about is the breakfast.

The staff was friendly & helpful. My only complaint was that they put a hold on my credit card in the amount of $80.00 for incidentals. They never disclosed that to me until I questioned what the charge was for when I happened to check my account on line.

Outstanding location at a reasonable price. Our room was pretty tight but bathroom was oddly spacious. Loved the high ceilings, which provided a sense of space. All personnel were helpful and congenial. Parking was handy. All in all, a good value.

Considered a historic site, but the rooms are extremely small.

We wanted to play tourists in Philadelphia and this hotel provided the ideal home base. Located in the historic area, it was in easy walking distance to all the sites. The hotel is older, but but kept with comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly.

I was a very nice place. The staff is very caring and the interior is beautiful. It is a bed and breakfast place that has many options like massages and so on to make up for their non-existent room service. There is a breakfast and snacks provided through the day but I advise not to wander at night unless you are going to a bar or a club in an alley […] a block away. Lisez la suite

The Best Western Independence Hall Hotel in Philadelphia was a very pleasant spot in an excellent area for sightseeing and enjoying the city. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby and many historical sites and interesting neighborhoods to explore on foot. The hotel was clean and comfortable and offered a nice breakfast along with the room.

We stayed here to attend a family wedding. The staff could not have been more accommodating as there were a lot of us staying here. The rooms were great and location was perfect.

While the hotel left a little to be desired (it is a Best Western, after all), it was in a wonderful location and had all the basic amenities. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was large, but we found the shower didn't work (as in zero water pressure) if the toilet was running. Most hotels have figured out a way to keep consistent […] water pressure, but maybe this hotel has issues because it's such an old building (?). Regardless, if you're looking for an inexpensive stay in a great location in Philly (walkable to all the historic sights and South Street), it's a good deal for the money. Lisez la suite

The hotel is in a great location and is perfectly constructed and decorated for the area. The lobby is especailly nise and cozy, although I was disapointed that the gas-powered fireplace was not working. Inexpensive, yet tidy and conveniently located. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Close to historical museums, some of the city's best restaurants.

Hotel was in a great location, but property is a little tired. Website led me to believe that parking was included....and it was not. Walls were thin....if people were talking in the hallway - you could hear every word.
