Great service...front desk was fantastic...very accomodating. Rooms very clean. Convenient location...Providence is beautiful. Knew about the extra charge for parking....but a bargain compared to NYC. Would stay here again next trip.

Great hotel and great staff. The breakfast was just right. Nice variety and hot foods. The pool area is nice and clean. The hot tub/jacuzzi water jets could have been better as they sprayed water up rather than out into the tub area. But the water was nice and hot. I always wish there were alternatives to chlorine. I hate the smell during and after […] the soak. Breakfast was very good and the food was fresh and hot. Special thanks to the chef and our waiter. Both gave special attention to everyone who asked for their services. They were both great to us. This is a nice hotel for staying in Providence. This hotel was just fine. The only drawbacks were the pool and parking. Th spool florr was very slippery, in watched 2 people fall, and the towels weren't stocked. It may sound like I am being picky, but perhaps it's a reflection of their oval maintenance, perhaps it wasn't well staff because of the holiday weekend. I would stay here again, but wouldn't […] park with the hotel. The hotel price was more than just parking on your own (either way you self park). The reason for the price increase is that the hotel allows you in and out access. If you are parked for the night, don't use the hotel service. The hotel is across from an ice skating rink and mall. We came to Providence to see WaterFire (it was great!), and to visit a friend. We could see The Basin from our hotel window, so we were within easy walking distance of the show and most of the other things we wanted to see. Only thing that annoyed me a little was that we reserved a room with 2 queens but when we go there, they said there weren't any […] rooms available with 2 queens. We ended up with a room with 1 king, which was nice and fine and worked out, but it's disappointing when what you you paid for in advance isn't available. However, most of the staff were very nice and helpful, and when we arrived early and our room wasn't ready, they kept our bags for us so that we could go explore. Overall, a positive experience. We have stayed at this location before, great location, easy to park, comfortable stay. The only problem with our past stay was being located directly outside the elevators due to the noise. Surprisingly the noise factor was the greatest in the morning with housekeeping. A very nice hotel, very clean and nice. But the windows are so thin that it sounds like they are open - aka there is a lot of noise from the streets and a lot of cars going by.

the hotel was very inviting. From the staff to the room we were very pleased. The location was great and the neighborhood was very pleasing to the eye.

When I checked in there was hair in the bathroom in several places. The thermostat on heater did not work so it was always on cool or always on heat. I complained 2 times but nobody ever even looked at it. On the Friday nite that I was there they had a party with a band in the function room that was so loud I was not able to sleep untill after 2 AM! […] The watrer in the glass on the table had ripples on the surface from the vibrations of the speakers...................I was on the sixth floor! I called the front desk & got no help. An hour later I got dressed & went to the front desk and they did not even have a record that I had called earlier. Still nothing was done to turn down the sound. I spoke with several others in the hotel that had the same problem sleeping. The next morning I asked for the manager & was told no managers could be found but I was told there would be one there later when I was planning on checking out. When I returned at the mentioned time I was told the manager had left for the day. I told the desk staff again my concerns & they told me to call later & gave me a generic card for the hotel. They never even indicated that they were sorry. THIS HOTEL DOES NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. I highly reccomend one of the dozen OTHER hotels within a few blocks of this one. Lisez la suite

Perfect location in the heart of downtown. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms spacious and well lit. Only concern was street noise even from the 4th floor. Heat/AC was quiet and effective. Otherwise service was good, parking convenient (for a charge) and breakfast was good because one did not have to buy a full buffet.

We have stayed at this hotel before and like its convenience to a variety of things to do such as shop and dine out. This time I thought the mattress was too hard. Also the hot tub was being cleaned so it was not hot, which was disappointing. The pool was warm and clean. The $22/day parking charge is a bit steep but you can go in and out as many times […] as needed for the fee. In the restaurant, we had the same waittress as in the past. She is very nice and helpful. hotel staff was exceptional polite and friendly that what make the stay there even more enjoyable and comfortable. everything was great even the pillows

We had a one night stay with our toddler and found the staff to be friendly, the room to be clean and the surrounding area had great restaurant's and stores. Would stay there again.

Upon arrival I produced at the front desk my ID and debit card used to book my hotels.com reservation an hour earlier, as I normally do as hotels often want a card swipe for incidentals. I then asked about the rate I had paid and upon looking back at her screen, the clerk realized she had billed me again. Although she swiped my card again to reverse […] this, two days later, on Monday, Labor Day, that full rental amount hold (along with another for incidentals) was still on my account at checkout. I was told that that hold should be removed by 4 days later, Thursday at midnight. Unfortunately, while on vacaction with outstanding checks and a pending apartment lease to pay for when I returned from vacation, I needed these funds available to me. The only solution the clerk could offer was that I call back to speak with a manager on a regular banking day so they could fax something to my bank to have the funds released. Fortunately my bank did not need their authorizatioin as they saw the hotels.com charge and took my word for it but given that the mistake was the hotel's, I expected more than a shrug and a suggestion that I track them down to fix their problem to get the issue resolved. I would expect an effort to be made to track me down to get resolution on the issue. Considering they have the ability to put a hold on and make charges on a weekend or holiday they should be able to make electronic adjustments to such transactions. Seemed like a training issue with both reps and yet another example of how customer service is in the toilet in this country. Other than that the room was clean, and although my room had a great view of the state capitol, it was right by the elevator and I could hear both guests and cleaning crew chit chatting in the hall. The A/C unit was a bit loud but worked efficiently. I had read that there is no noise ordinance in Providence and believe this to be true as just blocks away, music was blaring from a club at an unbelievable level. Fortunatel Lisez la suite

We were overall very happy with our experience at this hotel. It was in a good location - we walked to Brown, RISD, and the State House area from there. It was also right next to the river and the main bus depot - so you could take a bus from the airport and be right at the hotel. It seems like a good business hotel. There is free wifi and a good desk […] in the room. There is also a pretty good fitness room with new equipment and individual tv sets for each cardio machine. It's important to note that there is a $22/night fee for parking. I know there is a breakfast buffet in the mornings, but we didn't get a chance to try it. Lisez la suite

Perfect location right off 95 - VERY easy to get to! But BEWARE - if you are a light sleeper be sure to request an EVEN numbered room, the higher floor, the better. Our first night we stayed on the ODD side, walked into the room and were blown away by the beautiful view of the State House and Water Place Park - great view! Problem is, they BLAST and […] I mean BLAST music until 2 am. Unbelievable. If it wasn't the music keeping you up, it was the highway traffic keeping you up!! The front desk was called and seemed they got these complaints ALL the time. There is no noise ordinance in Providence. We demanded a change of rooms and once we got hold of the manager, they were very accommodating and switched us to the other side and even upgraded us to a junior suite. Beautiful room with views of the Biltmore! Gorgeous. That night was SO peaceful although I was woken up by a spider crawling on my arm (eeeewww....) . Lisez la suite

This hotel is just down the block from the RI Convention Center, which was very convenient for me. It is also within walking distance to the Mall and the AMTRAK station, which worked out great for me. They gave me a nice room with a great view of the Capital Building. We booked for one night during a visit to Johnson & Wales. Overall, the hotel experience was very nice. The room was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable! The breakfast buffet was delicious! And the hotel staff were very accommodating. My only exception and complaint, is that the noise was a major disruption. Music played until about 1:00 am. We […] were on the 5th floor and could still hear it. I'm sorry I didn't ask if it came from a local club, or if it was a one-time event. If I knew that it would not happen again, I would come back. Friendly staff, particularly the clerk who checked us in. Pretty hotel in good condition. Spacious and comfortable room/bed with a perfect view of downtown and the Capital building. Free WiFi. Pool area and exercise room both great. There is a charge for parking, as most hotels in the area seem to do.

This hotel was okay for the price. Did not have time to use the pool, but it looked nice. Staff at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. Very convenient location.

The Courtyard in Providence is in the middle of all of the happenings of Downtown Providence. The only thing that I did not like was the $22/day parking fee for hotel guests

Mi esposo y yo quedamos bastantes complacidos, esta cerca de todo. Lo unico que no nos gusto es que aun en el piso 6to. se escuchan todos los ruidos de la carretera musica, carros, etc. Encontramos que es muy costoso para lo que se ofrece.
