"fits in with all my needs"
Comfortable and memorable
"The Hilton helped to make our weekend"
Why do teenagers never want to go anywhere or do anything? Dragging my reluctant kids off to London is a thankless task, but on arrival at the Hilton and certainly once they saw our really comfortable room, their protests were silenced. Not the cheapest, but money well spent.
"Good London Base"
This is a really good hotel. Staff pleasant and the rooms just what you expect from a Hilton. Room clean and the food we had in the restaurant was fine.Perfect for the tube which is just across the road, and easy to get to the main attractions as it is on the District/Circle line.
"Good location but not a good room"
The location is nice, the staff was nice, the public areas were nice, but the room... not so nice. Black mold in the bathroom, everything felt very worn with paint chipping off, lots of noise from an ancient and vibrating minibar and the carpet was dirty, you could see nobody had vacuumed properly in a while... I am no snob, but I would have expected […] more for the price I paid. This was not up to Hilton standards. Lisez la suite
"In a good location, near to Paddington & undergrnd"
The hotel was clean and breakfast was superb. THe room was lovely and the veiw from the huge window just made it. Loved the hotel and want to go back again soon!!
"Hilton London Metropole"
On the whole was not a satisfying experience : Pros : Very close to the Underground (Metro) so was extremely easy to get around. Edgware road is on Circle, District and Bakerloo lines so many options. Walkable to Marble Arch and Shopping area. Paddington is 1 stop away and has direct connection via Heathrow express to Heathrow Airport. Cons : Very crowded […] - Lobby is like a marketplace. Reception - Long waits to get checked in Breakfast service in Restaurant - Its too small for the number of pax/rooms in the hotel so always crowded. You need to be in queue for almost 10 mts to get seated. While service is prompt, the hygiene is pathetic. Plates and cutlery are not properly serviced and make you loose your apetitie. It serves "English Breakfast bufet" with omelettes at extra charge. Lifts - You have to be really lucky to get onboard at the first arrival. So ring away merrily. Towels - Again hygiene is poor. All sorts of sediments on the Towels. Lisez la suite
"Perfect for a weekend break"
Near tube station, shopping and an excellent high quality hotel. Staff are excellent and taxis available outside door of hotel.

"Excellent Hotel in the centre of London"
I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 2 children aged 10 and 7. Excellent for seeing London. Staff great and hotel lovely and clean. The only downsidewe found, is if you have plans to be somewhere at a certain tim,e i would advise you to get up earlier as we had to queue for breakfast but well worth the wait, food was excellent.
The hotel is very close to some shopping areas and what i enjoy is trekking to oxford circus and nearby shopping areas. Thats great for me towards my effort to shed some love handles
"Close to edge ware rd underground station"
We used the metro to navigate all of London. This location was very convenient. The rooms were smaller than most rooms in the US, however that seems to be the norm for many European hotels. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, as most of the food was more English. However we were able to grab juice, bagels, fruit and cereal. Next time, I would stay […] there but skip the breakfast option. Lisez la suite
"Not very good"
The room was shabby, and very small. My daughter left her phone charger in the room, the management have not sorted it out, we have heard nothing from the hotel.
"The Hilton London Metropole"
Stayed at the Hilton before and the service is excellent but when we reserved with Hotels.com we were promised a king bed on arrival based on a sale they were having. According to the Hilton we had booked a standard room only. We would be able to change but that meant the hassle of packing up and moving to the other room and we were only going to be […] staying two nights. Just as a warning to fellow travelers to make sure that the reservation is as promised. As someone who uses this service quite a bit we expected better. Lisez la suite
"Family friendly and very convenient"
Ticked all the boxes for us. It was great value and in a good location near the tube. Great hotel breakfast which set us up for our jampacked days of seeing the sights of London. Hotel was very big and there were loads of people everywhere - both tourists and people travelling for business. That didnt bother us though and didnt affect the service […] provided Lisez la suite

"Hilton London Metropole"
We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton London Metropole during spring break. The staff at the reception, concierge desk and restaurant was so nice. Very polite and helpful. It is across the street from tube station and close to Marble Arch. No so fond of the neighborhood itself. But lots of convenience stores near by.

"London Hilton Metropole"
First of all, they didn’t clarify hotel rules when we lived in. After leaving our food inside the mini bar, we got a warming that we should pay £5 a day. But the second day they just locked our mini bar which make us can’t take out our food out. We were willing to pay money but they used a very impolite way to treat us. When we called concierge to complain […] about this, the waiter even hanged up our phone. Such a bad service, I sincerely recommend don’t choose it if you can find other better one. Lisez la suite
"Hilton London Metropole- a great choice"
We stayed in the West Wing (newer part) of this hotel and it was very nice. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Check in clerk helped us upgrade our room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Staff there was lovely. Greeted us each day as repeat guests. The hotel was very busy, but that didn't deter from our experience. Our room was quiet (12th floor.) […] Located very near Tube stop which made all of London accessible. Lisez la suite

"Internet"
Its very expensive to get access to internet. You have to pay for every 24 hours.
"Excellent"
Staff attentive and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel for sightseeing of London. Easily within reach of Paddington train station. Will be revisiting later in the year

"Hilton London Metropole"
It was a convenient location. Close to public transportation, Hyde Park and reasonably priced restaurants. The hotel staff was helpful but the beds were very old and the mattresses were very hard. It felt like sleeping on box springs.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, thought the staff and hotel were lovely. The only one complaint I have is that we were charged 8.40 for a glass or red wine at the bar which we felt was excessive.

"The best hotel in London!"
Perfect rooms, great view (we were on the 17th floor), Absolutely clean, great service, perfect location (1 min from underground). Definitely recommended!
"OK hotel. OK area. Good position."
For a Hilton I keep expecting more. The queen size bed is nice, however the rooms are tiny (happened to me another time when I had a two single bed room. Hotel is big so expect queues at check-in and check-out.

"Only OK"
Nothing special. If you need wifi, stay away. It seems you get free wifi if you're a HHonours member, and otherwise you can pay some rediculas amount for cabled broadband. What on earth am I going to do with a ADSL cable with a mobile phone and an iPad!? The alternative is to sit in a cubicle and let everyone else see what you're browsing for 30m/£5. […] Unfortunetly I won't be staying often often to become a HHonours member, as I consider wifi so essential I won't be staying here again. Reception perfumed to the MAX (choke). Hotel seemed overcrowded. Got fed up queuing for the lift up the tower. Breakfast was busy - though fun watching the 'hotel politics' with stroppy managers looking very important, glaring at their totally uninterested staff. Food was fine. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the room was fine, but the decor was bland and you could have been anywhere in the world. How about a little London art work? Room was perfectly clean but had a funny smell to it. Had a great view across London from the 17th floor, but the windows were so dirty you couldn't take a clear picture. And to the hotel manager, PLEASE don't copy and paste your default 'trip advisor' reply. There was no point in me 'raising these issues with your front desk', as you weren't going to deperfume the reception, kick out any guests to ease overcrowding, cheer up your breakfast staff or give me free wifi. "Ok hotell"
Nice hotell really close to Edgware road tube station. Two BIG downsides though. The rooms were absolutely tiny, almost claustophobic and they even charged for wired internet in the rooms, a whooping 15 pounds for 24 hours.
"Great stay"
Our second stay on this hotell. It's getting old, and the tower floors could need some refurbishing. Great dissapointment that the room had no WIFI: The staff and breakfast was great, the pool area to crowded.
Most impressed with the quality, service & location of The Hilton Metrpole. It will be my hotel of choice for future visits to London!!
"Hilton Metropole, London"
The service from staff was excellent but the room we were given was tiny for an upscale hotel but great view of central London from 17th floor. Room well appointed but only really 2 feet of space around the bed and small desk area. Breakfast experience is always bad as you queue to get allocated a table and then queue again for all of the buffet food. […] Bar drinks expensive (double Hendricks gin and tonic £20!!!) "Old and poorly maintained and bad service at the c"
We booked two rooms and one room Wasn't ready even at 9 pm。 we had to change room and ended up settling down at 930pm , 8 hours after checking in. The service staff apologists and offered to complimentary drinks but they never follow up! No vouchers and no letters of apology during our five day stay! We had problem with flush and shower which was too […] hot as thermostat was faulty. Water turns murky sometimes . However we were impressed by the breakfast crew and the guys at the concierge who are very good friendly and professional . Overall, not worth the price as rooms are too Small and old and not well maintained. Lisez la suite
"Hilton metropole, London"
Great service from very helpful staff. Opposite Edgware Rd tube station for quick and easy access to the sights. Excellent breakfast even when very busy. Rooftop bar worth a visit for the views of London at night.
"London Hilton Metropole"
Elaborate lobby and dining areas. Very basic room for a Queen Deluxe Plus and disappointing. Extremely noisy location with sirens heard all night....literally. Excellent variety for breakfast but queues to get in. Hotel close to tube and convenient.

"Excellent Hotel - very central"
We booked this hotel for a weekend break. It's location is good as it's on the main Bakerloo line just a few stops from Piccadily Circus. We purchased an oyster card for the underground which I highly recommend!! no hassle and no worries of queuing & buying tickets. Hotel was very nice, room modern and spacious. The pool, steam room and sauna very good. […] Friendly staff, good food. The duty manager helped me with online checkin and printing boarding cards. great! Highly recommend and would stay there again. Lisez la suite

"Best luxurious stay in London"
We only stayed for 2 nights at the hotel and managed to get a very good offer for it. Location is okay and very near to tube stations and bus stops. By bus, it took us less than 10 minutes to get to Oxford street. My wife and 2 young children really enjoyed the hotel. The room space was sufficiently comfortable for us, clean and does have a 5 star feel […] to it. Service from the staff was top notch, extremely helpful, warm and friendly. Made our stay there very welcomed indeed. Our only complaint about the room was that the heating system was a let down for a 5 star hotel. It was quite chilly (at the height of winter) and we had to wear a couple of clothing layers in order to feel warm enough to get a good night sleep. Will consider returning for our next winter holiday in London but hope the hotel does something about the heating system by then. Oh, another thing - the (wired) internet connection in the room is not free. Had to pay 15 Quid for 24 hr use. Wonder why a 5 star hotel could not provide such facility for gratis when others (even the less starred ones) can do so. Well, that makes it 2 complains then. Lisez la suite
"Solid hotel"
Reception areas were a bit tired but our room was in good condition and had adequate space (although we were upgraded to an executive room). Great location for those arriving intoPaddington - just a short walk away.
A brilliant weekend, staff welcoming and helpful throughout.
