Went to see Utd's game and stayed for only one night. Hotel is very conveniently located within 2 min walk from stadium with free parking. Also very close to shopping center's like Lowry and Trafford center.Staff were very polite. Would recommend this hotel if you are going for a short trip.

On check-in we were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Hotel was clean and had all the amenties, staff were very friendly.

Very clean comfortable hotel, stayed one night, breakfast very good with great service. Booked for two couples, rooms were near each other great time had by all.

After a long train journey I arrived at the hotel hungry and tired. I found the hotel by taxi, only just in East Kilbride and some considerable distance from the centre. On enquiring about dinner I was told I could not get in to the restaurant until 7.30pm because ‘They are busy’. I booked a table for 7.00 and was eventually eating my meal, which was […] very good at 7.35. The restaurant was not ‘busy’ and there were plenty of empty tables. As a single diner however it became obvious to me that I had become invisible and had to ask for a drink, sauce and a dessert menu. The dinner was very good. The staff were otherwise attentive although all seemed totally pre-occupied with other tasks, like setting the table for breakfast, studying a PC screen in a group and discussing who was on what shift. At breakfast I found a seat and served myself but again had to ask for coffee – although tables with several people in a group were asked their choice as they came in. The breakfast was very good. My room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. A shaving mirror in the bedroom would be a plus. The bath plug did not fully close so a good deep bath was not possible and the water was in any event not very warm. I had ordered a Times newspaper for the following morning but on awakening found a copy of The Independent. I returned this to the reception desk – the young gent their telling me that: “Maybe that was all that were left…” as if that was ok. I asked for the unwanted newspaper to be removed from my bill. In the mean time as I waited for my bill to be adjusted another member of staff arrived, some ongoing issue was discussed, the phone rang and another customer came to complain that no soft drinks had been delivered to his room. The two staff seemed unable to cope with this less than heavy workload and I was asked to wait while they both (for some unknown reason) directed their attention to listening to the non arriving drinks customer’s tale of woe. Nice hotel, but I expect we were unlucky. Bathroom floor had puddles. On investigation it was clear a tap was leaking onto the counter then onto the floor. Mums quilt cover had chewing gum or similar stuck over it. It was lovely and white but clearly no notice had been taken of the marks. Restaurant extremely expensive considering the quality of the […] food. Wine expensive too. Staff were very good and on the whole the hotel was lovely an clean. Just these few points let it down. Would still recommend the hotel as long as you have your own transport to be able to go elsewhere to eat etc. Angie Lisez la suite

Staff friendly, hotel excellent, rooms very spacious and clean.

Att de inte kan rekommendera en restaurang i reception är mer än underligt. Verkligen inte serviceminded personal som tar emot. Hade även bokat rökfritt rum men det fick jag uppgradera mig och betala extra för när jag checkade in. Varken vill eller kan rekommendera detta hotell om man inte behöver bo just i det här området vilket jag behövde. Kommer […] inte bli fler gånger för min del. Lisez la suite
