A recommander.
Hotel a conseillé vivement 4.5/5

very dated... only a handful of parking spots.. first come first served....elevator does not work.. so it was a hike to the end of the 4th floor with bags to carry.. staff was very friendly, room was clean.. but very dated and run down.
They need to fix the elevator. Per the other reviews I have read it is ALWAYS out of order (tho the sgns say it is just temporary). Also if they are going to provide a kitchenette they should provide some basic glasses, dishes and silverwear. Other than that...hotel was a good deal for the price, was clean, spacious and VERY WELL locatd. Also staff […] was helpful Lisez la suite
"Eva Hotel Stay"
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. However there were roaches and the elevator was down. It seemed to have been down for several weeks. it was very difficult to get a room in the third floor and carry an infant and a toddler up and down the stairs several times a day.
"Decent For the price"
Hotel is in a great location! Just seconds away from stores resturants and the beach!! Elevator is still not working. One of our rooms was cleaner n more up to date then the other. Saw a few small roaches in the lower floor room. Parking fees are ridiculous for the small tight area available to park in. The resturant down stairs had some of the best […] food around. "Getting better and better"
If the elevator had been working, if the stairs had ramps to pull heavy suitcases to the top floor and if the lobby hadn't smelled heavily of air freshener I'd have bumped my rating even higher. What remodeling they have done is excellent. The location is super for the price, there actually off street parking (albeit limited and tight) and the rooms […] are very clean, BUT. it still is old the furniture is dated and worn, but for one night before heading to a cruise ship it was a great find. "Great location and price"
Friendly and professional staff that is very accommodating. Great restaurant onsite and easy access to 150 bus to and from airport. (at 17th and Collins). they have a nice balcony on the second level great for people watching or just to have a drink. Right in the middle of everything.
"Bad conditions"
The hotel charges for daily parking and every time i arrived to the hotel I had to go to the second floor to tell the front desk there was no parking available for mento park! I was staying on the 4th floor and the elevator was out of service.
"Eva Hotel - good enough"
All the small hotels in this area of Collins seemed pretty run down and lacking maintenance. Location was great - Jerry's deli is a few steps away with 24hr service. The toilet ran constantly, but was far enough away from the bed so the noise wasn't bad. Room needed paint badly and showed real wear. Bed was fine. Ran the fan unit all night to drown […] out the noise. Location was great - close to the convention center and the beach was less than 5 minutes away. Fancy hotels, bars and restaurants were all close as were seedy hotels, cheap grocery stores and dive bars. All in all a good 2 day experience (business). Wouldn't take my wife there. Lisez la suite

The elevator didn't work, and I think in a previous review that it didn't work. I doubt they are worried about fixing it. We were on the fourth floor, it didn't really bother us, but it might somebody else. The hotel was older and it was located in a great place, just a block from the beach. The room could have been cleaner, and the beds were not the […] most comfortable. Cheap mattresses. Lisez la suite
"Hotel EVA - great location, calm - and perfumed"
No doubt the location and the neigbourhood is fine! The room was spacious but in other ways modest. The staff was friendly. The reception and room (perhaps even the aircon) was perfumed with something artificial. We switched of the aircon and asked specifically to avoid scenting/perfuming the room.
"good location"
ok hotel great location. pretty comfortable rooms but its no fancy place. the staff were really friendly and there is a restaurant at the bottom floor.
"Good location @ affordable prize"
Pro: one block from the beach and ocean drive, cheap, fairly clean Con : low budget shows, you get what you pay, parking was expensive with 25 dollars a night, walls are like paper...
"Nice traditional well located Hotel"
Location excellent, price good ! Parking as all the area a night mare !
"Good hotel with a great location"
Personnel were very helpful and kind. Room was ok, location very great and rooms funnily quite peaceful despite the location on noisy Collins Ave. Internet worked good. Only minus was the hotel's restaurant: though the restaurant looks very nice and cool and "expensive", the food was at all not worth it!
"Overprized hotel"
We like the location of the hotel but it was to noisy and to expensive for what you get. Unfortunately everything on the beach is expensive.. But here we didn´t even get soap. Nice and friendly staff.
"Convenient location is convenient"
Nice and large rooms with plenty of space and table and chairs. The elevator was out of order which was a serious problem for tenants at 3rd and 4th floors. Constant air conditioning noise from outside when the windows are open. But you have air conditioning in the room, so not much of a problem. Excellent location, very close to ocean drive and the […] beach.Large king size bed, convenient to have fun, if you know what i mean. Lisez la suite

"Hotel Eva surpassed my expectations!"
This was a great hotel! I saw some negative reviews concerning cleanliness,so I wasn't expecting much, but I loved this hotel and it was clean and had plenty of room. The walls are thin and you can definitely hear others, but South Beach is noisy, and to me that's part of the experience of staying there. Loved it!
"Hotel Eva central to South Beach attractions"
We found this hotel to be quaint, the only one with on-site parking, and within easy walking distance to all the attractions. Because it was NOT on Ocean Drive and all the rooms were off the street, it was also quiet. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we visit South Beach.
"Worst rooms ever!"
Pathetic rooms and hotels. The reviews led me to book it, learned my lesson hard way...totally stay from this hotel..simply the worst rooms i ever stayed in and i have stayed in 70 or so hotels! Go to Chesterfield its around the 10th or so. Eva should be demolished asap.
"Budget Hotel"
Its basically a budget hotel. Location is excellent. Service is pretty good. The whole ambience of the hotel is just average but considering the price, what do you expect? I liked the fact that it has a Microwave and refrigerator in the room so thats very handy. Bathroom is all right. All in all, for the price, its a nice hotel.
"Not as Boutiquey as the reviews suggested"
The internet did not work in the first room I went to, so I had to switch. In the second room, there was a beeping noise from a smoke detector with a bad battery. When I notified the front desk, it took over 24 hours to have them stop the beep. As I was comforting myself with the statement that at least the hotel was clean, a cockroach ran across the […] floor. The shower water pressure was like someone was pouring a small glass of water on my head. The view from my room was another hotel with a barbed wire fence in between. However, for the low cost and proximity to good dining, I couldn't complain too much. Lisez la suite
"EVA Hotel Miami Beach - Cheap motel, great locatio"
Hotel is simple. Very much like a travelodge - cheap rooms (although quite spacious) with mini kitchenette (microwave, fridge, cups etc). However rooms are very warm, particular the bathroom. These really could do with a lot of renovation. Watch out for bad weather - we had car in underground car park ($20 per night) and it flooded. Got woken by hotel […] reception at 5.30am to tell us to evacuate the garage. Not much fun, but we saved the car from flooding! Nearby multi-storey carpark is $16 for 24hrs, so can recommend there instead. Overall, great location and for the price its not too bad. Would probably stay again. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Eva in South Beach"
The hotel was perfect for a quick one-night stay in South Beach. Great room for the value. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating, the rooms are big - like studio apartments and have a fridge. It was perfect for a night on the town in South Beach.
"Hotel Eva, bang in the middle of everything"
We stayed in the Hotel on the 28th Sept 2011 for 2 nights. we booked a deluxe unit which overlooked the main st of Collins road. The room was large and airy but had little in the way of kitchen utensils not even a glass to drink out of, but I suppose if we had asked for items they would have provided them, but as the accommodation was only for 2 nights […] it was not a big problem. The main key factor is its location.. right among the bars and restaurants shops etc. If you need somewhere among it all, that is cheap but not to fancy, this could be it... Lisez la suite
"poor"
There appearance of the hotel and room were fine despite the horrible attitude we received from the person at the front desk and the fact that we had a few roaches in the room. I wouldn't stay here again
"Great Location and Great Stay"
Stayed w/ my girlfriend last weekend and loved the room. Very spacious, clean, and the king size bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was nice, but not eqyipped. Would have been nice to see some coffee & mugs, to go w/ the coffee maker... The location was great. 3 blocks for Lincoln Road, Across the street from the beach. and located right smack in […] the heart of South Beach... Loved the place. Keep in mind, no pool or hot tub, but the beach is across the street Lisez la suite
"Hotel Eva Passes the Test!"
My stay was only one night but I started wishing i could have stayed another night as soon as i walked into my room. Very clean, beds are way comfy and the King beds are HUGE. Great for an extended stay bc the rooms have full kitchenettes. Its basically a studio apartment turned hotel. I highly recommend this place. Downsides? If you're driving the […] parking garage fills up in a snap. Also, and this is more odd than bad, but the hotel entrance is on the 2nd floor so you must first get past the pesky restaurant hostess who asks you to stop in every single time you walk in and out of the hotel. Other than that... A B+ overall. GREAT value Lisez la suite
"Fairly Good Hotel"
We stayed for four days. Overall the hotel is good for the price. Good location. Nice front desk staff and service.
"Eva Hotel in South Beach"
This is not the fanciest place in South Beach, but the price is very attractive and the location is fantastic. The little Cuban bistro on the street level is nice--offering a pleasant atmosphere, very good service, a surprisingly varied menu--and at reasonable prices. If you're taking a quick trip to Miami, you will enjoy this small Art Deco hotel. Rich […] from Richmond Lisez la suite
"Decent hotel"
This hotel is in a great location, just 5 minute walk from south beach your right beside Ocean Drive. The room was big, clean. The only negative was the washroom, it was just decent. The shower pressure sucked, and the washroom is not renovated like you would expect. Overall nice hotel, great rates, prime location.
"Excellent location + value with a very good bistro"
We stayed here for almost a full week in June. The location couldn't be any better as it's close to the beach, the shops and the Lincoln Road Mall. It's also easy to get the very cheap bus to and from the Airport ($2.35/single ticket). The room we stayed in might not exactly have been modern but it was a very good size with everything you need including […] a fridge, iron, microwave, basic dining facilities and a large walk-in wardrobe. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Phillip, who even gave us towels for the beach. The bistro below the hotel serves excellent Cuban-American food at surprisingly low prices; we had some of our best meals of the holiday there and we ate in many different places. Definitely recommended. Lisez la suite
Pros: - close to the beach and shopping streets - Hotel has self-parking which was cheaper than valet parkings nearby - Sheets were clean and room was roomy enough Cons: - Small hotel - Farily noisy air conditioner - Room was fairly worn out Summarum: Next time I'd probably take hotel further from North and come to see South Beach with Bus or something […] to avoid parking fees. Busses go along the Miami Beach and are fairly cheap. But if you want cheap hotel from close proximity of shopping street of Miami South Beach and beach and doesn't care of worn out room, this might be something for you. Lisez la suite
"Hotel EVA - a great hotel"
Despite the obvious value, I in general enjoyed this hotel. 1. Location: It is right at the end of Ocean Drive which is near great bars such as Tequila Chicas, the Liquor Lounge, Finnegans, Mangos, etc... There is an exotic car rental next door so if you are a car enthusiast you car check out those rare cars you only see in the magazines. Plus you […] are 1 block away from the beach; which is why we are all here right. And lets not forget 2 blocks from the LIncoln Shopping Center. 2. Huge room with 2 Double beds, futon, and sitting area. Now it may not have all the luxories of a Marriott Courtyard, but you are there to experience Miami, not your room. 3. Courteous staff. Housekeeping did a great job ensuring we had clean towels and sheets. We were even allowed to check out at 12p instead of the typical 11am. (This was done out of courtesy to us after I asked. (I really appreciate the staff accommodating the request even though they were sold out that evening). Staff also inquired if we had taxis/shuttles to the airport to make sure our transportation was taken care of. 4. GREAT Cuban restaurant downstairs. Enjoy great food and drinks and do some people watching. Not sure if this is run through the hotel, but the staff here was great as well. 5. Public computer with internet in the lobby. A nice convenience when you are far from home. 6. Finally I will mention up the value. I looked up many hotels and this was very economical. Now some of you may be reading this and thinking I bet this review was written by the staff. Let me assure you I just had a great time and am actually from Baltimore. Don't believe me. Well it is 4/5/2011, the Orioles are 4 and 0 and on course to dominate the division of the big wallets. I bet there are not many O's fans from Miami, hun. Lisez la suite

"Great place"
I loved this hotel, i got the best room somehow, rm. 310!
"A place to crash"
While the outside of the hotel is cute and the hotel is clearly in the process of renovating, the rooms were dirty, shabby, and uncomfortable. The location is great and the price is too but you get what you pay for. The mattresses are thin and springy, there was mismatched and torn furniture, and the refrigerator was covered with mildew on the outside. The […] reason I stayed here is because I was looking for cheap, basic accommodations in a good area. That doesn't mean the hotel should be shabby or dirty but if you are willing to stay in these conditions it is a good price. Lisez la suite

"Hotel Eva in South Beach Florida ~ great location"
We were VERY pleased with Hotel Eva! Unexpectedly nicer than the photos. Great location, very centrally located, 1 block from happening stuff on Ocean Ave, the beach & Lincoln, yet not noisy at night. Clean cute spacious rooms, non-cheesy bedspread & furnishings! (which is HUGE for me since I'm very visual, I hate cheesey nightstands & ugly 19080s bedspreads). […] The rooms were much bigger than we expected – kitchen with sink, counter, fridge, drawers & microwave. There's a changing room adjacent to bathroom. The hotel has a flavor of the area, which in Miami is older buildings & Art Deco. Hotel Eva is nice looking on the outside, with a Cuban bistro downstairs that has patio & nice ambiance at night. We were checked in very quickly, hassle free, no hidden fees. Parking is first come first serve, or maybe reserved ahead of time. We parked easily (and cheaper) around the corner for $10 on 16th & Collins. When reading reviews, keep in mind people have different agendas. It all depends on what you're looking for. I'm from L.A., I like to walk, go out for cocktails, find interesting places to eat, and check out the beach. If you're looking for free breakfast & toiletries, perhaps stay at Comfort Inn, you won't get them here, which is fine for me, I am not into cookie-cutter places nor looking for a hotel that gives free breakfast since I like to find a cute place to eat in the morning and have a nice meal that gives a flavor of the city, not regular old eggs & bagels. You can get those anywhere, so I can care less if a hotel offers those in the morning. (I ALWAYS travel with a box of WheatThins! They're perfect when you're starving before a meal). Some people give bad reviews simply when a hotel doesn't give free breakfast which I think is unfair & silly. Hotel Eva did give us 10% coupon to the bistro downstairs & a free strawberry daiqueri We made the most of our 5 nights/6 days - flew into Ft.Lauderdale, checked in Hotel Eva Friday nite 11pm, had cocktails at Clevela Lisez la suite
"Average hotel in a great location"
I gave this hotel a rating of 5 because it is in a great location that is within walking distance to Ocean Drive and is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the nightlife of South Beach. This hotel is hardly a luxury hotel, but it met all of my expectations in terms of cleanliness, service, and location for the price paid. I have stayed in several art-deco […] hotels in Miami and most of them are very similar to this one in terms of noise from outside the room (street and neighboring rooms) and the condition of the building. If you are booking a relaxing or extended vacation, you should probably keep looking. While the age of the building and noise did not bother me for a short stay, it could become a pain after a few days. Lisez la suite
"You get what you pay for"
Overall, the rooms weren't in too bad of a condition. However, you can tell that the bathrooms are out of date, and in some cases pretty nasty. Also, some of the furniture isn't in top shape either, but hey for the price per night you really can't expect much more. In addition, although the hotel does offer parking in their lot underneath the building, […] it is still a major problem. With the way the lot is set up, it is very difficult to enter or exit the lot, and sometimes there is a major problem with a lack of proper spaces for vehicles. But on the bright side, the location is great, just a block or two from south beach. Overall, my stay was pleasant. I didn't expect too much from the hotel, which helped. Lisez la suite
