hotel à eviter parcontre est syper bien situé ! juste en face de la mer a conseiller au budget vraiment vraiment juste aucun confort, lit pourrit à roulette pas de serviette acces a la chambre qu'a partir de 3 h piscine deserte ( demandez vous pourquoi) vis à vis incroyable entre les chambres j 'en passe ...;

sadly they got just 2 nice room like what they show on internet. All the other one are very old.

c'est dommage car il est très bien situé.Mais il est très désuet. Une couche de peinture ne ferait pas tort. Les lits étaient propres par contre et le réceptionniste nous a bien accueilli et nous a laissé la possibilité de laisser nos bagages là en attendant que la chambre soit prête. 1 NUIT est suffisante.

Tout à fait satisfait de mon séjour. Satisfaction au délè de mes attentes. Recommandé

the hotel was a bit run down but the beds, linens and batthrooms were fine. A great location and excellent price for the location on the beach.I would stay again based on price and location.

Hotel was right on the Blvd. and rooms were on the big side, but they were worn and tired. Bed was fresh and firm, but the A/C wall unit really is loud. If you are looking for inexpensive and close to beach..this is it...don't expect much more.

Well, let me start by saying that the hotel clerk can make or break a hotel. Owners don't forget that!! I left Sanibel - took the 2+ hour drive over to show my husband and son how great this guy makes this hotel and they absolutely loved him and the hotel. I cannot say enough great stuff about this hotel. It is directly across the street from the beach and has it's own pool with bar and food. We would wake up in the am and watch the sunrise. We would spend the entire day at the beach and the pool. At night, we would walk the strip or jump on the bus. This hotel is convenient to everything. Aweful... I repeat, awful...!!!! Did not even stay the night, i wouldn't keep my dog there overnite!!! "ROACH MOTEL" would be an accurate discription No way anyone would consider this a resort

We'll start off by saying that the pictures posted on this site are NOTHING like the actual place. On your site, it says the hotel offers, transportation upon request, chairs for the beach and smoking/non smoking options. The hotel does not offer transportation, does not have smoking rooms, and the chairs were poolside only. People were smoking in the […] balconies and leaving there butts everywhere (no ashtrays provided). The poolside chairs were torn or broken. The pool was filthy. While sitting at the bar, they were hanging decorative lights and one broke over my head. They did not stop hanging lights even though I had glass in my hair! The rooms were gross. The wall paint was peeling the kitchen was sticky the windows had missing panes. You had to beg for towels, all of which are "white". The stains on them made me gag! They take a copy of your credit card! I'll be watching my statements for months! It was about a mile walk to anything good or lively. The bed's were lumpy, the A/C was as loud as a mac truck. I paid a lot of money for basically a roach motel. Do not trust any of the positive reviews! Its all a lie!!! Lisez la suite

GREAT LOCATION AND THE POOL IS NICE, THE ROOM NOT SO GOOD

Stairwells going to rooms were filthy, food on stairs, overall nasty!!

I have booked with hotels.com in the past with no problems but this time the hotel was far from what they were showing in the web site pictures. Refrigerator and microwave all rusted. Roof full of patches and we were unable to close the bathroom door. Also broken windows. A/C was so noisy it was hard to sleep. The room was NOT what was in the picture. They are small and not very clean. The "free cocktail" is a beer or a rum punch. The only good parts were that it is across the street from the beach and we only had an overnight stay. This is not a hotel that I would stay in again.

So- here's the thing, location wise its brilliant. Right across the street from the ocean, little pool out front with a few chairs- very nice. However... if you are not a spring breaker or good at sleeping through chaos, I wouldn't recommend it from end of February through the end of May- their poolside bar has a DJ/Karaoke going until the wee hours […] of the morning which can be heard at some level in all of the rooms. Tropic Cay Beach Resort has a great location, but the building is totally run down, rooms are barely ok. Bathroom was clean, but none of my family dared to shower in there. The stairways (no elevator) had stains of parties long gone. The pool was, say, "swim at your own risk", as a picturesque sign warned guests by the pool side. Too much for too little. […] It is totally NOT for families with kids! It would be more honest to say we have an old resort, with a bar, and a pool, but you can go across and swim down on a beautiful beach, party and get drunk at night, and then sleep it over after 3 or 4 am. very convinient if you want to stay wh=ithin the area and not driving...We check all the reviews before we book this hotel, not found any good ones...BUT , we were lucky, we got the room right in front of the beach, perfect view in the morning, sunrise and ocean view. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised by both the service and condition. Marvin was amazingly helpful in moving my friend's room a little closer to mine. I was impressed with the majority of the staff. On Friday they had a DJ and on Saturday they had Karaoke. It was really all good fun. The loud music was not enough to keep me from falling asleep and they seemed to turn the volume down at a relatively decent hour. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. If you are looking for luxury, then NO this is not the place for you. But for a good bed and room to move around comfortably - this was it. Perfect location! We were able to walk to many restaurants and shops and only drove a few times and even then not far at all. the only bad thing is the parking situation... And the antiquated hard keys were a bit much... Also the doors seemed like they needed to be replaced. But, my friend's room was newly refurbed and it was beautiful throughout. Although - she didn't have a microwave or stove as I did in mine. But we didn't need or expect either. Location, location, location...but you gt what U pay for.

I go on vacation quite frequently and have stayed at all types of hotels; from the Four Seasons to the Econoloddge, but i have never stayed at a place as dirty and poorly cared as this one. I read the poor reviews but thought they were exagerated. I have stayed at other hotels that were poorly rated and I had no problem. i was wrong!!! got early at the hotel to check in , they told me room wasn't ready, 3 hours later still wasn't ready. When finally we get in the room OMG . I'm guessing County jail its cleaner then that hotel. sand and hair all over beds and floor and other stuff I better not to mention. You can stay here IF you get a room on second floor and IF you can stand noise from the bar and IFyou need to save money. Rooms, big but the beds did not have new washed sheet. In the receptions we met very arrogant crew all four days.

terrible hotel in a great location why dont they paint it ? get rid of the horrible super loud karaoke from 7pm - late that you can hear through the paper thin walls like its in the room clean the rooms it is a lot cheaper than surrounding hotels though

Helpful hotel manager except for wake uo calls which twice did not happen Beach across the street and several eateries nearby and pizza delivered late into the night A nice pool and bar onsite with free Internet Rooms were adaquate and required a key to enter (a metal key).

Room with a million dollar view, but the room was quite dated 1950, never upgraded. Worst was the Christmas Eve Karaoke until 11:15p.m.! Absolutely ridiculous. 5 people were singing to each other and ruining Christmas Eve for the entire hotel. My advise...find another hotel.

This is one of the worse experience of my life in a hotel. No towel, no hot water, no parking to speak of. The tv barely worked, small and a snowey picture. The clerks at the front desk where rude. I wonder what they would have done if they were treated the way they treated us. If we could of afford it would have found another hotel. We stayed up till […] 12am waiting for parking so our would not get ticketed or towed. The music was very loud. The pictures on the website are very misleading!!!!! There was barely any beding. Did not clean room the whole stay of six days, no new linens, no new towels, did not make bed. They should have siad something for the price.

This was a total disappointment but it did live up to the reviews posted by other dissatisfied customers. The hotel is only slightly clean, in bad need of major renovations and a good exterminator. The only thing that is good about the hotel is that it is right on the beach and within walking distance of good restaurants and some nightlife.

I travel so many times to Fort LDD but this was the worst hotel , so dirty, the water in shower was cold all the time,TV so old only works sometimes, dont change towels every day, the music was extremely loud and you cant have any rest at all, dont recomend to the worst enemy, and you should not have that in your registry .

I would NEVER stay here again! The bar downstairs played severely loud music until 3am EVERY NIGHT. So loud that it might as well have been playing through speakers directly in my room. And there was no hot water and they had no intention if fixing this until two weeks later. Cold Showers and No Sleep. Plus, the people who were working there were very […] rude. I booked this hotel because of it's price and location. Both of which were excellent for the time of year. While I was not expecting a five star hotel I did not expect what I found. The hotel is a bit shabby, I had two lamps in my room which did not work, a door with no secondary locking device, the air conditioner was a window unit that had been placed […] in the wall above the door and was quite noisy. Not nearly as noisy as the power tools and concrete saws that were being used outside the room for several hours after check in. Had to request new sheets, one of the beds had some odd stains upon it that I would rather not sleep in. The room also had two doors, one of which had been painted over as if to hide it, the other which was locked. Upon inquiry about where the two doors went I was told 'not to worry about it'. I assume it was supposed to lead to the kitchenette that was supposed to be with the room, but being told 'not to worry about it' was bothersome. Other than that, the staff were helpful and courteous, the other guests were a bit rowdy but that is expected when you have a bar on premises. All in all, I would suggest this hotel for people that need someplace to stay, real cheap but are willing to over look it's many faults just to have someplace to stay. As we did. Lisez la suite

This hotel was dirty. We were barged in twice- once the maintenance man and then somebody who said they had rented our room and they actually had a key. The room was next to a bar and the music was so loud it vibrated you out of your bed. I would not recommend this hotel even to my dog. This hotel should not be in your registry.

The Hot water barely worked, the walls are shallow so you hear the neighbors, the rooms smell like old apartments and the tubs were rusted near the drain valve. this hotel is a waste of money and time, the pictures of the hotel certainly do not match what you get in reality. This was a very unromantic experience. Do not choose this place
