"Very Comfortable Hotel"
This is an older hotel, but fit our needs perfectly. We had 2 separate bedrooms with an adjoining bathroom...more than enough room for the 6 of us! The hotel staff was so friendly & helpful. "Guet house Windmill Inn"
The hotel is located on the strip and close to all the shows. There is a chicken place next that has awesome chicken. Found many good food places nearby. Enjoyed the shows except the "The Sunday Gospel Jubilee.
Were told that we would have a room close to the office when we first went by to check on the room, and were told to come back at 1 and we would have that room. When we returned the clerk at desk told us we would have to have another room, because of first come first service. I had been there an hour earlier and he told me that which room we would be […] staying in, then he told me that when we came back. Also, when we got to our room the air conditioning cover was not on the unit and it looked like it didn't work. I wanted to go back to the desk, but my husband wouldn't. Luckily it wasn't too hot or cold and the room was just right. Overall the room was satisfactory and we made do. Location was great and access to areas was convenient. We were disappointed in the service, the office was very disorganized. The room was so-so. They did have a good hot breakfast.

It was fine for the $. It was gross that there was a couple dead bugs around the room. I'd say for the $ you're getting a safe place to sleep. No thrills.

Bathroom had a soap ring and dirt ring. Knob on air and heat was gone. When I check in and out there was Alot of people complaining. Glad we only stayed for one night because we had another hotel that was booked for that Friday night. Beds are hard and pillows were flat. Needed more pillows and extra blankets. Will not stay there again.

Very good rates for the convenience of being square in the middle of the strip. Easy access if you have a map of the routes to avoid the 76 traffic. Good restaurant next door and a Krispy Kreme next to that. Yippee.

The first night we asked for rooms on the front, we were put on the back side, We were not happy. then we decided to stay another night so we asked to be moved up to the front .So we checked out and checked back in to better rooms and enjoyed our stay here. The people at the front desk were wonderful, the room was very nice ,the breakfast was very nice but the cleaners were not so good they did not make the beds they did not empty the trash they did put clean towels and that was about it. the funny thing was I had left a tip in the envelope they did not even look in it. I was so dissapointed with the service of this hotel. The first day no one came to clean or replenish the towels.If they would do some remodeling and step up their customer service it would be a wonderful place.It is in a very good location.
The hotel room was nice and clean however the beds were like sleeping on wooden planks. Also the plumbing was very loud. You could constantly hear water running and at one point it sounded like there was a jack hammer on the other side of the wall. We thought our sink was going to explode. We spent two nights and felt it was a good choice for a good price. We were well pleased with the staff as they were very pleasant and helpful. Our room did need some maintenance, but our only real complaint was the hard mattress. The location was great and the room was clean.

We were very pleased with Windmill, friendly people and helpful with questions we had answered, neat and clean, close to everything. Really enjoyed a rest. at the bottom of the hill called Charlie's, great ribs and burgers, ate there 3 times.

We stayed here in the hottest summer we've ever had and our rooms were clean, cool, and comfortable. The front desk personell were gracious and helpful. The pool and hot tub was clean and well maintained with plenty of towels. Also located on the strip with easy access to all the fun places. I would easily go back and recommend to anyone.

We were looking for a good motel at a great price and found it here. The hotel was a little dated, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Since we were down in Branson for the shows, SDC, and other activities, I did not want to pay a lot for a motel that we were only going to be at for a short time. "Right on the strip close to everything"
Ok 1st you have the biggest rooster I've ever seen on one side and the gokart track on the other... You'd think it might be noisy but it wasn't. The staff was wonderful, they treat everyone like family. The pool was very clean. It's with in walking distance to many of the shows and resturants and is just up the hill from the Tanger Mall... First of all, we got to town early, around 11 am and were hoping to check in because it was hot and wanted to get in the pool, even though the room was ready, the clerk told us absolutely no early check ins, we asked for a room close to the pool and she put us in the building farthest away from the pool. "The Windmill Guest House--more than I expected"
The hotel was really more than I expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was great for the price. Nice pool, nice hot tub, nice surroundings. We will stay there again and recommend this hotel to others. No problems no complications good breakfast. We had a great stay. Thank you.

Over all it was good, for being right on 76 Hwy, in the thick of things, just down from the Titanic and right next to the go cart track, you couldn't hear that inside our room. That was the main thing. Found a dirty towel behind bathroom door, and our tv remote didn't work, and the next morning staff tried to come in our door because they were told […] we had checked out, thank goodness for chains!! Checking in the staff was real nice, checking out there was only one staff member that I saw and she was quite rude after I told her what happend. pretty typical low-rent room except there was mold all over the shower curtain and the window AC unit was noisy and lacked fine controls beyond freezing cold and off, remote control was underneath the bed when we got there, but otherwise liveable. "Hotel is OKay"
There was nothing special about this hotel. It was just ok. Asked for a Pool View and was placed in a room farthest from the pool. Also had to go to different building for ice because ice machine was broken.
Our room had ants. I left a can of soda on the night stand and in the morning when I woke up the can was completely covered...when they gave us another room i asked for an upgrade because of the issuse and the lady was rude and very unprofessional. i will not stay at this hotel ever again. and there was construction going on right by our room so we […] constantly had to listen to jackhammers and other tools when we were at our room. We checked in on Sunday and left Thursday we did not have clean sheets at any time. (there was a blood stain on the bottom sheet). We spilt popcorn on the floor and cleaned it up the best we could and it was still there after our room was cleaned.

"Will not stay again"
Positives: great location, air worked great (though loud), and hot water a plenty (maybe even a little too hot, and I like my water hot!). Negatives: breakfast ran out of food several mornings, 30 minutes before closing. We literally got the last waffle and donut at 9am, breakfast was supposed to be served until 9:30am. When checking in the clerk was […] very unfriendly and more worried about a co-workers time sheet than checking us in and not helpful at all. When I booked the room, wireless internet was included, but when we got to our room, I couldn’t find it. I called the front desk to find out it only reaches to parts of the property and our building wasn’t included and they ‘claimed’ they had no other rooms. I have now noticed, they removed the wireless internet service from the description. And lastly, the maids were horrible. The beds were barely made, sinks and bathrooms were not cleaned, dirty towels and wash clothes were repeatedly left. More than once shampoo and toilet paper were not replaced. We called to complain once, but no changes were made. Even my husband noticed how dirty things were, and that means it had to be bad. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Had troubles initially with our room key, but manager was very helpful in getting us set up in another room. Rooms were a little outdated, but very clean. Great location to attractions. Price was definately right! Pool was clean and my kids enjoyed it! We will stay there again next time we are in Branson!

dirty towels on shower when we check in, didn,t pick up dirty towels for 2 days,never did pick up trash,or clean the room . we killed 2 brown reclues spiders. will never stay there again.

the one thing that is truly affordable in branson is this hotel. ALL the staff is pleasant and they seem to want to make the stay pleasant. Everyone was excellent with their customer service and deserve a bonus! :)

The tub leaked, they didn't give us the double room we reserved and wouldn't give us the credit or difference refunded and wouldn't give us a recepit at check out. one of the tv's only went to channel 16 and our room smelled like smoke.

The front desk clerk needs a course in courtesy. There is a polite way to say that you do not have rooms for early check in. Snapped at us even we asked where the bathroom was located in the lobby.
