Situé à Buda, vous pouvez accéder à pied facilement (sur tout le soir) au Château, au labyrinthe, à l’église de Mathias. Vous avez une vue excellente de ponts, parlement, etc. 5 minutes à pied d’une station métro et un supermarché, des restos / bars / café à proximité

bien sur l’ensemble de la prestation mais gros problème de la machine a café du petit déjeuner attente interminable une seule machine et problème récurant sur la connexion wifi

Tout était bien, confort, propreté, service, isolation sonore. Mais un peu cher pour une chambre en vis à vis où nous devions fermer les rideaux. Je pense qu'il est nécessaire d'opter sur une vue sur le Danube, car nous avons eu mieux pour moins cher dans le même secteur.

L'hôtel est au calme, côté Buda, directement sur les bords du Danube, très belles vues sur le pont à chaînes, et sur le parlement. es chambres avec vue sont forcément un peu plus chères, mais certaines sur cour sont très agréables. J'ai adoré la 109, au fond du bâtiment, et ses quatre mètres sous plafond. Accueil souriant et anglophone, bon service, […] décoration discrète et de bon goût, chambres spacieuses et confortables, même si j'aurais préféré une télé à écran plat. Mini-coffre gratuit. Lit ni trop dur, ni trop mou. Les couples seront peut-être surpris par les deux couettes séparées. Jolie salle de bains, rien ne manque, et l'hôtel tient à disposition ce qui pourrait manque à votre trousse de toilette. Le tout est très propre, et bien entretenu. Mention spéciale au room service, de qualité, efficace, et surtout à des prix tout doux... à tel point que je n'ai pas testé le buffet du petit déjeuner, plus cher. Le quartier est calme et sûr, plusieurs restaurants agréables et familiaux à moins de 200 mètres, avec des menus en anglais/français/allemand. A 100 mètres environ, la station Batthyany Ter permet d'aller au centre ville de Pest en quelques minutes, ou de remonter la rive gauche du fleuve. Bus et tramways passent juste devant l'Art'Otel. On peut monter la colline vers le château à pied par les petites rues derrière l'hôtel. Seul bémol: le Wifi, certes gratuit (grâce à des codes quotidiens disponibles à l'accueil), est anémique, juste suffisant pour lire son mail, et encore. Une option payante et chère règle le problème, pour ceux qui ont vraiment besoin de travailler. Lisez la suite

Hotel très bien situé, au pied de la colline du Chateau à Buda et sur la rive du Danube . Décor moderne. Personnel accueillant; Chambres spacieuses. Buffet Petit-Déjeuner copieux . Bon rapport Qualité/Prix.

Superbe hôtel, très moderne, avec des oeuvres de l'artiste Donald Sultan dans les couloirs et les chambres. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien agencées. On y trouve tout le confort qu'on peut attendre d'un hôtel de cette classe. De plus il est idéalement situé au pied de la colline, proche du Château de Buda et du Bastion des pêcheurs, du Pont des […] Chaînes, avec vue imprenable sur le Danube et le Parlement. En plus c'est tout le contraire de ces chaînes d'hôtels sans âme. L'Art'otel Budapest est dans un ancien bâtiment, avec plein de recoins, une superbe terrasse, des cours intérieures, avec un charme fou. Nous y sommes allés à 2 reprises et je dormirai certainement dans ce même hôtel si je retourne à Budapest. C'est définitivement un hôtel à recommander. La ville de Budapest offre plein de bonnes surprises; les prix sont intéressants et le coût de la vie peu élevé. Elle est magnifique et regorge de nombreux endroits très intéressants à visiter. Bonjour, Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, belle chambre, belle vue sur le Danube, très propre... Le personnel très sympathique. Le petit déjeûné, un peu cher mais il y a un énorme choix, grand buffet donc on oublie le prix... En résumé, je vous le conseille

We spent the second half of our Budapest stay in the Art O'tel on the Buda side of the river. The views from the room were amazing as the hotel is directly over the road from the Danube and the Parliament buildings provide a great view. Most of the restaurants and action was just a short walk away across the Chain Bridge. The free internet access in […] the central area was very useful for online check in to our flights etc. The hotel itself met all our requirements. The water in the room was extremely expensive. We had breakfast in our room one morning when we needed to leave early and it was promptly delivered. Lisez la suite

Hadn't thought to book a non-smoking hotel but Budapest seems full of smokers so possibly difficult to enforce. A shame because the lobby area always smelt of smoke from the adjacent bar.

First night when I checked in, they gave me a room that's a bit old and in far corner. The AC unit made noise all night, so I ask for something to be done. They did respond quickly and sent a repair man up to look at the problem. But the problem can't be fixed, so they moved me to another room. The new room is much better located (facing the water) […] and in much better condition. The staffs speak good English and are very professional. I will stay again. Lisez la suite

Beautiful hotel and amazing views from the rooms and the cafe and the lobby. The staff is very kind and friendly. Get WIFi was very complicated and was slow. In the restaurant the food was good, but the beer was not cold. In general was a very pleasant experience .

This is a good spot if you want to stay on the Buda side of the city. Right by the river overlooking Parliament and the Castle, so wherever your room is in the hotel, it's sure to be a room with a view! Convenient near to Chaion Bridge so a good spot to see the sights.

We loved it. The location was perfect as it is right on the river and you see the majestic Parliament building every morning. It was a little walk to the center of town butt was never a problem and we crossed the chain bridge every day which was great. I would recommend staying there.

A great location with great views and easy access to public transportation (which, BTW, is first rate in Budapest), but what makes the stay memorable is the efficient, helpful and always curteous staff. This is why I keep coming back.

Incredible views across the River. And many nice places to eat nearby. And getting to Pest by either the metro or the Chain-Bridge was really easy.

Central to historic budapest on the Buda side great Reserve view facign the Danube and Parliament buidling and you will be rewarded with great balcony and chairs facing the city-great hotel completely updated inside,great location short walk to metro system to Pest, would definitely stay there again

Had a nice room with a GREAT view. People very helpful at the front desk.

My room was very, very dirty. The carpet was VERY dirty and stained and the tables were dirty and sticky, also. The AC didn't work very well. Some of the staff were very nice and others were very unpleasant. The restaurant attached to the hotel was awful and over priced! I had the fish and it was visibly freezer burned and very overcooked (hard as a […] rock) and they still charged me for it even though I showed the waitress how hard the fish was. This Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Budapest. It is within walking distance (depending on your level of fitness, of course) of Parliament, the Castle District, Chain Bridge, all the Danube River Tours, and maybe a 5 minute walk to the Metro. There are numerous restaurants and little store where you can pick up snacks or personal items. ATM machines […] and super markets (food) are near the Metro. The Desk Staff are terrific – Ronald is the best!!! Tours can be arranged or just advice on what to see and where to go. Don’t forget to spend some time exploring the Hotel’s art collection. Loved this hotel! The location is awesome and the included breakfast was amazing. The staff was very nice and helpful!

We were amazed by the danube view from room 517...between the chain bridge and parliament on the opposite bank. Steps from st. Matthias and kasha, the restaurant famous for it's duck. Room was spacious and comfortable. Service was a bit perfunctory. All and all, though, highly recommended for the location.

The hotel is located at the bottom of the hill below the Fisherman's Bastion/Matthias Church. The neighborhood has several cafe's around - but also within a 5 minute walk of Batthyany Ter - where there are more restaurants & a metro stop that you can then travel to anywhere in the city. We arrived at 9.30am from our cruise and the reception staff immediately found us a room. We found the desk staff generous with their information on sights and facilities we required. Breakfast was a huge spread. Some of the hot food could have been warmer. This is a great hotel, close to all the Castle Area attractions. Location excellent: short stroll to Metro, longer stroll into central Pest, stimulating climb to castle. If you are strolling into town, though, beware cyclists who share the footpath. A very nice hotel. The staff are friendly and relaxed. Overall a pleasant place which is well maintained. A bit of a walk to most things but close to the river Danube. Better than some of the 5 star hotels in Budapest. Staff speak English, French, German, Russian and Hungarian.

All good except I did not like the smoking that is allowed in the lobby and bar. Not really their fault, it just the way things are in Budapest. We found a wonderful cafe just a half block away called the "Sophie". Great food, great music, reasonable prices.

We couldn't have asked for a better hotel for our first nights stay in Budapest. There were many restaurants in walking distance and the views of the Chain Bridge and Parliament were everything we had hoped for. The staff was helpful and professional.

The hotel was beautiful & very clean. My only complaint is that there are a LOT of stairs going to the back rooms (the elevator bypassed 1 flight), and they did not offer assistance with our bags when we checked in. Otherwise, it was a good location, walking distance to Castle Hill (provided one uses the funicular) and walking distance to the Metro […] stop for transit across the river. Lisez la suite

the staff put me in a room with the most amazing view of the fisherman's bastion, and st. matteus church. This was a dream, first thing to see in the morning and last thing at night. carpet needs to be changed! Breakfast was expensive, but good with fantastic varieties of breads! very friendly staff, though not sure if their restaurant recommendations […] were not fueled by their own vested interests - still, we appreciated their help. they say they are redoing all the rooms. so you'll probably get a better carpet than ours. Excellent hotel, the staff very very friendly and could not do enough for you. Location wise it is a great hotel opposite the parliament build and just below the castle. Breakfast was excellent and reasonable. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay.

Enjoyed the hotel - staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is nice with some nice views of city. But the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is the best part of the hotel for me

The hotel is quite new, very clean and modern, with an excellent position right on the Danube with views of the Parliament Building at the front and the castle hill and Fisherman's Bastion at the rear. We stayed twice, once at the beginning of our holiday and again at the end. The first room was on an interior courtyard, the second at the front with […] a balcony, although this was noisier being on the roadside with trams passing at regular intervals. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was good value for hotel breakfasts, though we didn't use the restaurant for the evening meals. We thoroughly enjoyed both stays, and were almost sorry to leave. Transport was close by to all main sights. The Budapest Pass for travel was available at the hotel, although it had to be paid separately in cash. Lisez la suite

Lovely hotel, beautifully situated on the Danube - had room with balcony overlooking the river, Parliament and the Chain Bridge - stunning view. Free internet was great as was the very large buffet breakfast (though a bit pricey as it was not included in my room price).
