Hotel très agréable où nous avons aimé le sejour avec notre petite fille de 6 ans.Je vous conseille le petit déjeuner très copieux et typique canadien.Piscine couverte et salle de remise en forme très sympa . Personnel attentif et professionnel par contre éviter le resto du soir, pas terrible.A conseiller dans l'ensemble avec métro à proximité

Trés agréablement surprise par cet hotel super bien situé à 5mn du metro berri uqam au centre de plusieurs lignes de métro et qui est désservi directement de l'aeroport. Chambres trés propres et super spacieuses et petit déjeuner trés bon et copieux, Accueil chaleureux on vous renseigne bien, vraiment jy retournerai sans pb!!!

"Le Nouvel Hotel is walking distance to Bell Center"
I have stayed there once few years back, so when my girls wanted to go to this concert I recommended that we stay at this hotel. They really liked it too, said the service was great, beds were comfortable, the location was easy to find on a well known street, reasonable price room within my budget. i will recommend this hotel to my friends & others […] to stay at this hotel. "Downtown, close to everything."
A great deal, and walking distance to the 2 comedy clubs I attended. Parking conveniently located in hotel basement, at an additional $15 per day.

"great room in a treat part of town"
i was very happy with the room price through hotels.com, and the room was much larger than I expected. i have stayed in rooms with a king bed before, but this room was much larger than many of the others. there was secure, covered parking in the basement of the hotel, which was nice, too. the staff was friendly and helpful. the only detraction was the […] carpet in the elevator was a little beat up. the neighborhood is great, and it is close to the metro. i would definitely consider staying here again. "Disappointment all around"
I was very disappointed in this hotel. The bed was disgusting and creeky, the toilet ran consistently, the bathtub wouldn't drain and you can hear every single noise including our neighbours using the restroom. The sauna cost $20 and the hotel clerk I dealt with was very rude and abbrasive. We also heard sirens at all hours of the night and people arguing […] in the hallway at 3am. "Nouvel hotel - easy access to downtown"
This was our second stay, with easy access into the city, underground parking at great rate, and close to shopping, shows, etc downtown. I had forgotten my shoes in the room during our first visit and though they had not called to say they were found, the shoes were returned on our second visit when I mentioned the loss. "BAD service from the employees"
Checked in late about 10pm and was greeted by a very angry and not friendly lady at the desk I think her name was Denise. No hi or anything. More of like what do you want look. Gave us our room key only to find out that there is someone else already in the room. Wrong room and not the right amount of beds. WORST THING A HOTEL CAN DO IS GIVE YOU KEY […] TO ANOTHER PERSON'S ROOM. Went back to the desk went to the same not so friendly lady who gave us another room and didn't even apologize. "Le Nouvel Hotel MTL"
Comfortable rooms but the best part about staying here is its close proximity to the Bell Centre and downtown Montreal. J'ai eu une visite agréable.
"Respectable and Clean Hotel"
This is a respectable hotel. It was clean. The rooms are nice. It's better in person than in the pictures. If you're planning a trip with a picky girlfriend or wife, you will be fine, as this hotel is not sketchy or skeevy at all. Pros: I paid a reasonable rate for a conveniently located hotel. Big, tastefully decorated, clean room. Parking was convenient. […] The heating system was powerful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice exercise room. Cons: No free breakfast buffet. Wifi required a code. (not sure if they charge for it .) Parking $15 per day. (not terrible). Elevators are ugly and need attention. Elevators weren't working properly and would not open on our floor at times. Tv's were old. The remote control did not work well. Couldn't adjust the width of the water stream in the shower. (too narrow). Had to leave the floor to get ice. No fridge in my room. Overall: This is a good hotel that a thrifty traveller looking for respectable accommodations will be satisfied with. walking distance to night life, good price
"Great for easy-going travelers"
My boyfriend and I are casual travelers, both twenty-somethings looking to shop, drink and relax. We don't need much, just a clean room, bathroom and comfortable bed. Decent hotel room, a tad old fashioned but we barely noticed. Bed was ridiculously hard. We basically didn't even sleep the first two nights. We slept better the second night because […] we were sufficiently drunk and exhausted, and therefore, probably slept through the pain. If had a nice sitting area, great tv reception with english channels. Great location, half block away from Rue St. Catherine shopping. Long story short, it's relatively inexpensive, and if you don't mind sleeping on the equivalent of a concrete slab for a bed then this is a decent option for anybody. I wouldn't recommend this hotel again only because I know that there are hotels just as close by with comparable rates and much nicer beds. Lisez la suite
"Nice staff couldn't make up for room nearly burnin"
Friendly people great location. However the heating unit in my initial room nearly burned down the room while I was at the hockey game. When I got back we could smell the smoke from the hallway. They switched me to a beautiful suite but it was midnight by then. Things like AC/heating units clearly need to be changed!

room was old and couch had a hole on it. Also room had a bad smell we had to open a window for all day to be able to sleep. will never go back to that hotel. the only good thing was location.

"Trip to Montreal"
Decent hotel for the price in a decent location. The rooms are in need to renovation/modernising but apart from that the hotel is in a good location and a good option for the price. Probably not the best for a romantic getaway but fine if you intend spending your days/nights on the streets of that great city!

"Le Nouvel Hotel - Not new but really nice to stay!"
We enjoy our stay at the hotel. I suggest to anyone who wan't to stay around the Bell center. It take's only 5 minutes of walk to get there.
"Accessibility"
For a hockey fan or a book fan, this hotel is well located close to the Place Bonaventure and close to the Bell Center. It is also well kept, the spacious rooms are very confortable and the staff is very helpfull .

"La Nouvel Hotel - Beautiful!"
My Fiance and I booked through Hotels.com and it was a breeze! La Nouvel was a beautiful hotel in an even prettier city. Walking distance to our main attraction, Centre Bell, and our suite was very impressive. Thanks for the wonderful stay, La Nouvel! We will definately book with you again the next time we attend a Habs game!

"loud mechanical noise"
Nice enough looking hotel, but the hallway smelled of pet odor and there was a constant and very loud rattling the entire stay. Another guy from work said he heard it in his room as well. Couldn't sleep it was so loud.

This was one of the less expensive hotels in Montreal, and it was in a decent location, about a half mile walk from restaurants and information center where all tours departed from. In and out parking was a great benefit for a relatively low cost . We did not eat at the onsight restaurant but it looked appealing. There was a little shop for snacks and […] other necessities. "Great location in downtown"
If you want to get away from the heart of the bustling downtown, yet want to stay relatively close, this location would be key place to stay as all the major attractions are less then 10 mins walk from this hotel.

"GREAT STAY!"
My fiance and I were overwhelmed with the service, attitude and the room itself! Russell was awesome, this gentleman and his staff took really good care of us and ensure our stay was fantastic. Russell himself went over and beyond at times to make sure our dietary needs were taken care off. The room was clean, great location and very very comfortable. "LeNouvel Hotel in the boonies, was just okay."
Clean, everything worked. Nothing particularly bad or great. The neighborhood was a mix of mall, business, residential. A few decent restaurants around the area. The staff had no written lists of restaurants...the one we found was one mentioned verbally. That's never a good way to give info to a tourist. They should have a printed list.

"Great place!"
If you can get the 'condo' section of the hotel you will have a small apartment, with a basic kitchen, fridge, extra space, and a view from the large windows. It may even be a bit quieter than the other rooms as this part of the hotel is set back from the street. Definitely worth the extra bucks. Very helpful staff. The regular rooms are OK, too.

Le Nouvel is a very comfortable hotel, situated a few blocks from St Catherine's street, and a short taxi ride from the central downtown area. The hotel itself feels like a fancy apartment building, and it in fact is attached to condo buildings. Very understated entry and lobby. The restaurant served a great buffet breakfast. The fitness room was merely […] adequate. But our room was very large, nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. We were surprised to see a rather old standard TV, however. Though it's a non-smoking hotel, our room smelled musty and like cigarettes. The bed could use an upgrade!
