Hotel Kazimierz I - Cracovie

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hotel du 13 au 15/11/2011. Accueil sobre mais correct, hotel style ancien dans le vieux quartier juif, chambre peu lumineuse, petit déjeuner copieux et bon excepté le jus de fruit qui a le goût de médicament!

hôtel tres bien situé, de l'hôtel presque toutes les visites peuvent se faire à pied.Le petit déjeuner est tres complet et copieux.A recommander.

On ne peut en dire que du bien. Chambre très soignée, personnel compétent et à l'écoute, de nombreux et bons restaurants peu chers à proximité, le centre est très proche.... Allez-y les yeux fermés. Nous y retournons sans hésiter

Nous sommes allés à Cracovie pour le festival de musique klezmer. L'hôtel est très bien situé, en plein coeur du quartier kazimierz et proche des principaux sites d'intérêts. Nous n'avons pas eu une chambre avec balcon, mais celle-ci est suffisamment spatieuse, même si le placard n'est pas très grand. Petit déjeuner buffet très copieux. i have to say we both loved it we would defo go back again the staff were very helpful and we were very close to everything around us. the only thing is if i did have to pick would be the only english station they had on the telly was news and after a while this really got to me so maybe an english speaking channel with films on it would be great but […] overall cant wait to go back next year great valu for money Lisez la suite

Rather than trail through loads of hotels just book this one. For the price you get a comfortable room, 10 min walk to town and on the doorstep of the Jewish Quarter. The Hotel had everything we needed and was easy to find with great Cafe's near by we loved the Singer Cafe. The walk to town is past the castle and on a busy route so we felt 100% safe […] even late at night. Breakfast was fine, room was clean and staff helpful. If you are going to stay all day in the hotel you may want more facilities but if its a pit stop between sight seeing you can not go wrong. We will be heading back! Lisez la suite

Great location south of old town. Lots of choice of bars and restaurants within feet of hotel. Hotel staff efficient and attentive. Breakfast is plentiful a mix of some hot but mainly cold choice. Meats,cheese, cereals fresh fruit, yoghurts etc,....

Great hotel. Staff very helpful. Close to several good restaurants which were very economical. Walking distance to centre of Krakow, castle, river. Plenty of food at breakfast. New bottle of water supplied in room each time we used one. Polish T.V. disappointing though, but we weren't there to watch it! Would certainly use this hotel again.

Had two nights here in January during the snow season.Despite this the room was warm and cosy and for a 3 star was ok. Hotels well presented by the helpful staff. Exellent location in the Old jewish district,Your never stuck for a meal or atmospheric bar within 5 mins of the hotel. Loses points for incomfortable bed with flat pillows and disappointing […] breakfast(basic continental) with cheese that looked like it had been there a couple of days. Lovely Hotel located not too far from City Centre. Excellent service from friendly staff. Would recommend & I hope to return someday!

This is a great choice for a weekend or short visit to Krakow if you are on a budget. It's a 10-15 min walk from the main square and there are lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. There is also a 24-hr store for alcohol and chips (crisps) across from the hotel. Parking is on the street but we didn't have to pay because we arrived […] on a Friday night and weekends are free. Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and in the rooms. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and they spoke English (although my husband speaks Polish). They were very patient with the drunk Brits acting like complete idiots, which impressed me a great deal! They lock the doors around 23:00 but come quite quickly to let you in after that and there is someone there all night. We were never bothered by cleaning staff until at least Noon and, after finding us in the room, they had reception call us to ask us if we wanted cleaning service. The room was relatively quiet and we weren't even bothered by a wedding party happening in the hotel. The room was a good size with a small fridge and a good size wardrobe, although more hangers would have been appreciated. The bathroom was very clean and in good condition. The shower, though tiny, had great pressure and lots of hot water once you let it run for a minute or so. They also had a big heated towel rack which was much appreciated. Breakfast was pretty good. There were only wieners and sausages for hot options but for cold options there were plenty of items to choose from. They also serve breakfast until 11:00 which is a nice feature. Overall, this was a perfect choice for a weekend visit to Krakow, especially if you're on a budget but hostels are not your thing. If you were looking for somewhere to stay for longer then I don't think I would recommend it and here's why (being rather nitpicky): The bed was horribly uncomfortable. 15 mins walk from the main square, 5 mins to wawel castle. Plenty of bars and restaurants really close. Lovely clean comfortable room and bathroom. Plenty of chose for breakfast. Friendly reception staff. Perfect. Will definately be back.

Nice little hotel only 4 No10 tram stops from the railway station. Peaceful area with a variety of restaurants in the local area. Friendly staff and a great continental breakfast, however, no hot food.

Everything was very good in this Hotel, staff, cleanlines, comfort etc. However when we booked it on the website it said price includes tax etc but at the hotel we had to pay city tax (not much but unexpected according to our booking condition). Overall, I recommend this Hotel very much (if you do not mind walking 10-12 min to city centre).

Our stay was several days and so we interacted with many hotel staff. All were professional and most helpful, esp. a young man Mariusz. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Hotel enhanced our stay in this fine city.

Enjoyed our stay here and will look forward to returning there our next time in Krakow.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Kazimierz I, the hotel is spotless, the staff are very efficient and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. This hotel is great value for money I would definitely stay again. The only negative I would have is that the rooms are a little dated, they are spotless and most important the bed linen is fresh and spotless. The […] flooring and furniture could do with a bit of updating, they actually do the hotel a disservice because everything else in the hotel is perfect. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Staff was always helpful and friendly. The location was pretty good- right in the center of the Jewish quarter. About a ten to fifteen minute walk to Old Town. Would definitely stay here again, very pleased with the hotel!

For the money, this was a bargain. Only 15 minutes walk from the Krakow Old Town Square (or main Railway Station in the opposite direction). Staff very friendly, rooms good size and clean, breakfasts great, would have happily paid more for this first time visit to this hotel. The lift wasn't working throughout my 3 day stay and despite being on the […] 5th Floor, it wasn't too bad. The hotel kept me up to speed with the lift problem but it was hardly their fault so no point in marking them down! Recommend here for a short stay and DON'T get me going about Krakow. 9th trip in 3 years and I swear it gets cheaper and better service. Definitely be back to both Krakow and this hotel! Great price, fantastic service and clean! I was expecting budget but this hotel far exceeded my expectations! The staff was always extremely helpful, the rooms was clean and modern with extra such as free water and tea and coffee making facilities! Just a short 5 min walk into town! Top marks all round!

Myself and my friend stayed at the Kazimierz I on a citybreak weekend. The hotel is conveniently located for both the Old Town and Kazimierz Districts and an easy walk into the main square in the Old Town. More 'interesting' hotel than the other one we stayed in (in Krakow) - lovely old building in a completely different part of town. Getting to it tested one's public transport skills, but that's part of the adventure.

I chose this hotel for its excellent location and value for money. I was not disappointed. The public rooms were very smart and well appointed. My room lacked nothing but maybe a little charm. It was well appointed, lift. little balcony, tea making facilities. fridge (not stocked as minibar). The included breakfast greatly exceeded my expectations […] and the staff could not have been more helpful. At the right price, this is a solid value choice in Krakow. The location is good for sightseeing and some of the best restaurants in town. There is an excellent breakfast with a wide variety of food (breads, meats, cheeses, and cereal). And the Wifi is free of charge and I had a strong signal from my room. We had a lovely 3 day break in the city. Our hotel was right in the heart of the Jewish quarter and the bars and restaurants were close by and very welcoming. The area around the hotel was rich in history and after a hearty breakfast served in the nice dining room we were ready to explore. The hotel is located in the Jewish Quarter of Krakow, about 10 - 15 minutes walk to the city centre or the main train station. It's a really interesting area of Krakow - great history and some really good restaurants a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms are basic but are a good size and well maintained. Would stay again.

Excellent position, friendly, informative and efficient staff, good breakfast (despite one visitor complaining in the Guest Book about the lack of an English Breakfast ) !! Rooms clean and tidy with an excellent fan extractor system in the bathroom for those awkward smells! A little echoey from the wooden staircases but that is a minor gripe. In a five-night […] stay we never needed to venture further than 500 yards for an excellent meal before collapsing into a comfy bed with added sustenance from the Alkohole opposite. the hotel location was the best thing about our stay, very close to the old town and some very good restaurants within easy walking distance. the breakfast was ok and the room was basic. if your looking for a cheap hotel that is close to everything this is just right for you

Grea Hotel especially for the money in a good location central to all the sites in Krakow. Rooms had refrigerators, modern bathrooms with hair dryers. Many restaurants in the area..would definately return or recomend to friends especially good value.

Everything was wonderful! The room was beautiful and perfectly clean with new furniture and blankets. The bathroom was immaculate. The service was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel was great. I booked a single room and received one with a double bed and two singles. Plenty of room. Breakfast was great and this is a good location. Only downside was they had problems with their wi-fi. Would stay here again for sure.

The Kazimierz is ideally placed just on the edge of the centre of town making it convenient but quiet. Room was very comfortable, friendly helpful staff and they served a good buffet breakfast. There is no restaurant but the staff pointed us to the Avocado some 50mts away which served very good traditional Polish food at a good price. The hotel is located in the centre of Kazimierz, the old Jewish district, 1 minute away from the cool bars of plac nowy, and 15 minutes walk from stare miasto, the old town. Very easy to reach by tram from the train station too. It was great to have the hotel so close after being out all night drinking Polish Zywiec, Wyborowa and zubrowka and walking […] in the snow and freezing cold! The size of the room wasgood. It is a shame that the windows were too high to open. The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was included in the prize and was also good. Staff in the hotel were very helpful and spoke good English. We were allowed to check in before the official time (2pm) since our room was ready. We were late for one of the excursions we had booked and the staff negotiated with the tour operator to ensure we did not lose our money and booked us on another trip later. Lisez la suite
