Bon hôtel. Chambre confortable. Très bon petit déjeuner buffet (pâtisseries portugaises, viennoiseries, jambon, fromage, yaourts....). Situation correcte. Il suffit de descendre l'avenidad libertad pour arriver en plein centre ville. A pied cela prend 15 - 20 minutes sinon il y a une station de métro à 300 m de l'hôtel qui vous emmène directement dans le centre. Le quartier est très bien et sur.
Des frais pour toute personne supplémentaire peuvent être facturés et dépendent de la politique de l'hôtel.
Une pièce d'identité officielle avec photo et un dépôt de garantie en espèces ou par carte de crédit sont requis à l'arrivée pour couvrir tous frais imprévus.
Les demandes spéciales sont soumises à disponibilité à l'arrivée et peuvent entraîner des frais supplémentaires.

This is an excellent small hotel in a better location than most people realize. It is right next to the spectacular National Museum of Ancient Art. If you are comfortable with public transportation, the Tram #25 and bus #714 stop almost in front of the hotel and will take you quickly to central downtown, and the train and metro stations. Check to see […] if the hotel and/or embassy next door are still remodeling. If they are, you will find it hard to sleep past 8 AM when the pounding begins. There's a beautiful living room area with a fireplace and piano - beautiful large breakfast and lounge area and sitting area in the garden where breakfast is served - and warm library and balcony on the top floor with a great view of Tagus. Coffee, tea and snacks for guests all day/night. […] Great staff and service. Rooms are very clean, albeit looking tired and little old (at least in the one that we stayed in). Our room faced the street, so although noise wasn't really an issue, lack of sunlight was since it faced north - so we had curtains open and lights turned on most of the time. The rooms facing the garden on the opposite side, in particular, are lovely and bright. Lots great small restaurants nearby within walking distance. This is a lovely hotel, near the harbourfront. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and served until 12 due to the small dining room, giving all the guests a chance to eat. I'm not a fan of room service food but the cheese toasties really hit the spot and prepared with care. Plenty of local restaurants locally, two of us ate for under €20 with wine for a great steak. "Lovely idiosyncracy"
Janelas Verdes may not be for everybody but I love it; not so much a bustling city hotel as a quite charming home when you have to be in Lisbon. The street is smart old Lisbon, grand and solid houses almost next door to the Museum of Old Art (it sounds better in Portuguese); you look out over a few rooftops to the river Tagus, the docks and the sea; […] you know you are in a port city. Access is a bit tricky even by taxi since the hotel opens onto the sidewalk on a narrow street. Inside, the public rooms are part of the point: your own drawing rooms, comfortable, relaxing, good if you need to entertain people (there is a honesty bar downstairs and also upstairs in the library with its fine views.) Bedrooms are very comfortable, bathrooms more or less immaculate, and a proper size -- which is not always true in Lisbon. The effect is closer to a very well-run private house than a chain hotel -- room service is limited, and quite slow, but otherwise everything you need works well. You're far better placed for restaurants, nightlife and the taxis or trams to get to them than in comparably priced hotels in newer parts of Lisbon. And the place has a slightly faded charm, quite unpretentious, for which you could easily develop the Portugese habit of saudade -- a kind of hurricane-force nostalgia.... Our initial impression of the hotel was that it was old and we were slightly disappointed. However the rooms were very clean and spacious, the outdoors areas were lovely and very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Das Hotel hat Charme, ist mit Antiquitäten dekoriert und einen besonderen Chic. Nicht alles funktioniert reibungslos, aber immer wird sofort eine Lösung angeboten. Bei uns war die Heizung zum Teil ausgestiegen, doch sofort kam der Reparatursevicve, auch wenn es an einem Feiertag war. Besonders gut sind die Restauranttipps und die Museumsempfehlungen. […] Der Servive ist rund um die Uhr freundlich und kompetent. Man kennt jede Buslinie und die Qualität der Restaurants. Reservationen werden gern vorgenommen. Das Frühstück ist reichlich und frisch. Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an sehr wohl gefühlt in dieser kleinen Oase inmitten der Großstadt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und solide ausgestattet (eher ältere Einrichtung, aber sehr gut in Schuss). Begeistert hat uns die gemütliche Bibliothek/Salon mit einer kleinen Selbstbedienungsbar (zu sehr fairen Preisen) und die Dachterrasse mit Blick […] auf den Tejo. Hier konnte man sehr entspannt den Tag ausklingen lassen. Insgesamt ist die Einrichtung sehr stilvoll und sorgt für eine sehr persönliche Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist diskret, aber sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, wenn man ein Anliegen hat. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut - mit Straßenbahn oder Bus ist man in 5 min im Zentrum.
