"Comfortable and cozy in the centre of Glasgow"
The hotel is located very centrally in Glasgow. I had a cozy corner room on front which gave great views, but was a bit noisy. The quality of the bed was very good. Breakfast was very standard and fairly expensive fare, and it is worth considering one of the nearby cafes instead. The staff was mostly friendly. The hotel does have a certain 'patina', […] and it is not quite as glossy as it likes to portray itself online, but I would certainly recommend it for its location, comfort and charm. Lisez la suite

Great location, hotel not four star, room I stayed in on third floor was tired but spacious. Needs a refurbishment. There are better quality hotels in the area.Shop around
"Very shabby bedrooms air con noisy"
Good location and ground floor looks ok but bedrooms are old and need updating.
"Very central"
This hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance of most of the city sights. The only let down was my room wasn't ready until 4pm although check-in was at 2pm. That's a pretty long wait after a pretty long drive.

this is a very convenient hotel for the city centr, the club rooms are of a good size and the hotel staff are helpful, the only problem we had was that the residents in the room next door were very noisy and we could hear every word they said and we didn't get to sleep until 2am. After raising this with the hotel they dealt with it and said they would […] look into soundproofing between adjoining rooms. I would ask not to be in an adjoining room if booking again. "great all round central hotel"
have stayed at this hotel a few times now and the location is great...especially if you have travelled by train as it is attached to station. the conservatory is great for relaxing and a place to meet people. can't wait to return.
"Millenium Hotel - centrally situated"
Been to this hotel 6 times now and it never fails to impress. Welcoming and helpful staff. Rooms clean and good size and lounge/bar overlooking the square fantastic to sit and watch the world go by.
ideal location
"hotel service and accomodation"
staff are friendly room number 424 is noisy, you can hear the noise from next room 426. We stayed previously in room 426 and it was quite, however the electrical sockets are not in convenient location and 1 of them does not plug. The breakfast is good, but on our last visit 26/1/2012 the hostess was not friendly she wanted us to sit where she was directing […] us and when we wanted to sit somewhere quiet she waved her hand in frustration, NOT FRIENDLY or couteous at all. "Had a ball!!"
This Hotel was amazing, we had an amazing room, remember to ask at desk if your room has a view. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was great inside and in such a great location... i will be back for sure!! I completely recommend it 110%!!! It is right beside Queen Street Station, from airport it takes 20 minutes by shuttle bus, […] and you get off at Buchann Street. Then you are centre to all the shopping places, near wetherspoons which was great for a cheap breakfast. The hotel room had 2 single beds and lots of space.. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back soon! Thanks! :) Lisez la suite
Disappointing and drab! Never a four star hotel. Although we had a standard room No 412 we expected more. No hot water so shower cold, motheaten curtains and furniture that I last seen in a tacky BB in Blackpool. Tried to get us into a loyalty scheme but I wouldn,t even want a free night there!
"Rooms Need Full Refurbishment"
The public area were fine and breakfast was good. Hotel rooms are in a poor state, black on the walls, single pain windows; noisy and cold. Beds were comfortable! The overall room quality was worse than a 1990's travel lodge.

"millennium hotel george square"
This was my 2nd stay at this hotel and I would definitely recommend it to others. It's right in the centre of Glasgow and within walking distance of both Buchanan Galleries and St. Enoch's Centre as well as shops on Buchanan Street and Argyll Street. Staff member on reception was helpful.
"Good and Bad"
Have stayed before 2 years ago and was not impressed. This time I was even less impressed. the location is very good right on George square the main centre for xmas festivities in glasgow. Ideal for shopping, eating out and transport links to everywhere. The cocktail lounge area and the bar were pleasant enough and the service was good. The room was […] clean but it was cold and dated, overlooking the entrance to the railway station where the smokers congregate. This was just a last minute overnight stay and nothing special so in that respect it sort of fitted the bill. We had timed our stay to meet friends and travel to Edinburgh, so when we had problems with the showering facilities we had no time to get things sorted. The shower was in the bath, the bath didnt drain away, the pressure was poor and the water tepid. Breakfast was dire, hardly any cooked food left. It was quite cheap but I would rather pay more for a better hotel. PS. We would have stayed at the Carlton George but it was full. Lisez la suite
"Good stay"
We had a very good stay the Glasgow Millenium Hotel in december. It was a bit cold outside, but the view from our room over the square, Glasgow on ice, was great. The situation of the hotel is very good, lots of shops and restaurants close to it. Thanks for a good stay. H and H
"Hotel Millinium Glasgow"
Things which I was not satisfied with: 1) sink and toilet not clean at arrival 2) internet connection did not work had to call helpline to get it fixed 3) service in the reception not helpfull, not smiling either. very bad impression I've got. 4) people were noisy in the halls during night time. only good thing is that it is very local and close to […] the train and shops. "Millennium Hotel, Glasgow"
Great spot for a weekend break in Glasgow. Very comfortable and location just right - so close to the shops, cinema, restaurants etc. We loved it. Only downside was getting a room on the first floor overlooking all the air conditioning units - very noisy. A room on a better floor - that would have been perfect.
"Glasgow City centre, Close to most ammenaties"
I have stayed at this hotel many times while on buisness trips, but not for the last 5-6 years, The position of this hotel is so central it is such a shame that the maintinance has been ignored for so long. Our twin room on the 4th floor had chipped furniture and paintwork and a ceiling in the bathroom peeling badly. Service at breakfast was extremely […] poor, no bacon or fried eggs at 9am so a order was sent to the kitchen, both arrived sepertley . Eggs Benidict was served on a slice of white untoasted bread swimming in Holandaise sauce. This was such a disappointment as it is such a lovely hotel, just being spoilt by owners who just don't seem to care. Lisez la suite
"Had stayed before and will stay again"
Three friends and I stayed on a Saturday night - 3 rooms in all. Two of them, and I, had previously stayed at this hotel and were happy to return. While we had booked standard rooms, all of us were upgraded to suites which were enormous, and very comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent. Service also was very good. The room in which I stayed was […] a little dated, e.g. in furnishings and the old type TVs. But we all agreed that that we'd be happy to return again in the future. Lisez la suite
"tired hotel handy location"
Hotel was on corner of train station and very close to the city centre 2 mins walk away. Staff at hotel were extrememly pleasant and helpful but the condition of the hotel was poor. The room as big let down , with dated furnishings and "tired" decor. fittings in room and bathroom were poorly installed and the all round finish of the room extremely […] dissapointing. even in what appears to be a reasonably recently renovated reception area the furniture was heavily weathered and worn. i would consider staying here again but only for the location and ONLY if it ws cheaper. cant fault the service i recieved , its just a shame they didnt have the product to promote that their effforts deserve Lisez la suite

"Not impressed"
This place has more front than Blackpool. Everything looks great on the outside but the interior is a different matter. The rooms are pokey, tired and badly in need of a makeover as are the corridors. However, the main reception and the bar are all great.

"Better than expected."
We had a nice stay at the Millenium hotel. The room was large, clean and comfortable and just two minutes from Queen Street train station which was great as we left our cases and collected later before boarding train. Breakfast was good and it was so nice to get a table overlooking George Square where we could watch all the hustle and bustle. Staff […] were extremely welcoming and friendly (and scottish). Would not hesitate to use this hotel again. We often thought about staying in this hotel but thought it looked a little tired. This is only from the outside and is lovely inside. Lisez la suite
"Millenium Hotel Glasgow"
We were not informed of filming in the area and had to park quite far away and then take a detour through an area we did not know to try to fight our way through thronging crowds with baggage!! We entered the hotel to find a wedding going on that filled the foyer and bars and were informed the main restaurant was closed for the evening because of this […] and the only place to eat was an incredibly stifling hot conservatory area where the children of the wedding played at rushing through!!! The first room we had upgraded to a suite had what can only be kindly described as a smell of damp. We rejected this room and were offered a "club" room which had so much black mould around the bath it was a health hazzard and the third room we took because we were tired was at best adequate. The piece de resistance was that we both left with bad cases of food poisoning...so NO NO NO do not choose this hotel!!!!!!!! Lisez la suite
"Millenium Hotel - Glasgow"
Well located close to all major sites. Shower was not working properly; reported the issue. Manager sent a repairman quickly but problem was not resolved. Could not take a shower. Only one escalator in operation; second one was out of service. This was a two night stay
"Disappointed"
Had the worst night sleep - air conditioning broken so room was like a sauna, windows didn't open right and reception had no fans available, to add to this the noise in the room was horrific, (the room was at the back of the hotel right at the train station, and also vents right outside the window) was impossible to sleep through the noise. The room […] itself was rather dated, and I didn't feel it represented 4 star standard - huge crack in sink, dated decor etc. Complained again in the morning and was moved to a room on the other side of the hotel, 3 floors up which was a lot better, the windows could open to combat the lack of air con, and the noise levels were dramatically reduced, all in all the second night was not too bad. I wouldn't class the hotel as 4 star, the service was rather slow and only one person on reception. I would say how enjoyable your stay is definately depends on what room you are put in. "The Millenium Hotel, Glasgow, so convenient"
The hotel is 2 steps away from Queen's railway station. We were early but our room was ready so were into our room before noon. Room, at the rear of the hotel overlooked the railway taxi/ rank, that was ok for "watching the world go by" during the short times we were in. Our return train left at about 7 p.m., we asked if we coulld leave our case and […] collect it later, this was no problem for the reception staff. We stayed on a room only basis for 3 nights and the rate was reasonable. We did eat outwith the hotel as the food was pricey, we did have some drinks, but again these were pricey. Given it a rating of 5 , very clean well appointed hotel and the staff were very helpful and polite. Lisez la suite
"Great location"
This hotel is centrally located and very comfortable. Our room was clean and spacious and we had no complaints. Would stay here again as the price was reasonable.

"Do they care - Apparently not"
Whilst the location and quality of the food are fantastic, that's about all I can say good about my recent stay. Problems began at check in where there was confusion about my rate Inc breakfast, was given key but no direction of how to find lifts, basically give us a card and there is you key. The wonderful bed was not wonderful, the shower could […] not decide whether to burn me or freeze me, the air conditioning not working, the TV so small, so far away was pointless and worst of all the internet had never worked in the room due to a cabling fault and the hotel was full. The location makes it all for this hotel the rest is just shoddy. Did they care. NOPE. Lisez la suite
"The Millenium Hotel, Glasgow"
Very nice Hotel in central Glasgow, great location for shopping and resturants. Hotel could do with a little upgrade (painting etc in the bedrooms) but very clean. Staff very helpful and polite, i would definataly stay here again, also very reasonably priced.
"Milenium Glasgow"
Brilliant staff...every need and request met and with a smile too. Beautiful welcoming building, interesting history and wonderful location for all that Scotland's favourite city has to offer to young and old alike. Could update furnishings and decor in bedrooms and it would be Glasgow's best place to stay. Loved our time at the Millenium.
Room was clean and spacious but bathroom could have done with updating.
"Hot and Noisy!"
The hotel has spent some money making the entrance, bar and restaurant area look nice, but the rooms are very dated. Air conditioning makes no difference, and makes lots of noise, and you can't open the window as the sound of the train station is too loud. Didn't really sleep all night, and that was all I went there for!
"glasgow"
was staying in a standard room . very tired looking . not what i expected of a 4 star hotel .
"Hotel Millenium - in the heart of Glasgow City"
This hotel is very hand when visiting Glasgow city centre. It is very near Queen Street Station and all other amenities.
"Millennium Hotel, George Square, Glasgow"
Our room smelt of fried food. We went out for some dinner and on our return the smell was still there. We asked to change room and the staff were aware of the Burger King restaurant at the train station which was causing the smell. The decor was dated and I don't believe it was up to a 4* standard, we were quite disappointed.
This is a great location on George Square. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the price is reasonable. The hop-on/hop-off sightseeing bus stops right outside and is a great way to get around Glasgow, especially if it's raining.
"Millennium Hotel Glasgow - the ideal overnighter"
Perfectly placed on George Square (so very easy to find) and next to Queen Street station. The room was large and comfortable but a few of the fixtures and fittings had seen better days. The room was not the quitest and fronting George Square meant that the music for the Christmas ice rink drifted up - however, this is not usually there an d when it […] is, the music should make you feel festive not grumpy! Didn't eat or drink at the hotel so cannot comment any further, except to say that the price through Hotels.com was way below all other prices I could find. Lisez la suite
