Loved the very high ceilings and large rooms. The staff should have notified me about the coffee service and morning coffee cake at check-in. Maintenance staff was highly responsive!

I go to a lot of volleyball tourneyments around the country so I have been to a lot of mid-priced hotels over the last few years. The Hotel Lusso was the best. The rooms are nice size, beds are comfortable, I like the soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner dispenser, greast for the envirnment instead of lots of little bottles. Only three small negatives:1. […] TV did not work on the night I arrived but it was fixed promptly the next day. 2. The bath rub "squeaked" when standing in it (and no I am not fat) 3. I could hear the person above me walking sometimes. The soft peanut brittle on the beds each day are a big hit!! Lisez la suite

I was impressed with my mid-week business travel to Spokane and my stay at The Lusso. Hotel was quiet, clean and much more personable than the big box hotels. It is centrally located and the room was very comfortable. The only issue I had was the parking was inconvenient if you couldn't find close street parking but overall I would definitely stay there […] again! Lisez la suite

Very nice hotel in ideal location. Smaller size makes it a great alternative to the big brand hotels,.

The Lusso is our favorite hotel in Spokane. It is always spotless and nicely appointed. Friendly staff and coffee in the morning! Walking distance to theaters and restaurants. Attached pub has good food and big TVs for sports.

My Grandson's were extremely pleased and they had the pleasure of an upgrade at no additional cost they could not believe this addtional treat. Years past my husband and I always stayed at "The Davenport," it was a memorable experience each and every time. We really enjoyed our stay. We think there may have been an oversight in our room in that there was no dresser in the room, therefore no drawers and there was no way to turn off the reading lamps except to get out of bed. The location is downtown, walking distance to everything. High ceilings, wood trim, and a maze of a layout. Not a "box" corporate hotel. Rooms were large, but floor sloped from the exterior wall to the interior. Mattress needs replacement, but still enjoyed our stay.

The staff was so helpful (gave great, patient directions to this out of towner), super comfortable bed and fantastic places for dinner and coffee the next morning, all within walking distance - 2 thumbs up!

Was a very nice stay, the staff at the hotel were great, the room was outstanding. Little spendy but it was for a romantic getaway so was worth it.

We didn't have long to stay in this hotel, but that wasn't the end of the world, because the room I was in was a bit on the dark side and nothing in the room really stood out. The building itself had a funky historical vibe to it. The hotel staff was VERY friendly and helpful. They were the main plus of this property.

Great room, great location, convenient to everything in center city - restaurants, shopping, parks, sites of interest.

I return to the Lusso to visit friends in Spokane and get away from the big city. It is a charming, well maintained hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I always have a pleasant stay. No complaints!

We are always searching for the quintessential Inn which will provide a warm welcoming atmosphere where relaxation and comfort are part of the character. The Hotel Lusso in Spokane is definetely one of those unique places. The staff were fantastic by being courteous and helpful but unobtrusive. The location is great to explore the river trails, shopping, […] dining and city culture. The building has immense character and well maintained. Hotel Lusso uses the same beds as the Davenport Hotel. These are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The location is great near excellent restaurants, night life, shopping, theaters and Riverfront Park. This restored hotel is absolutely charming and the service is first class.

We went on a short road trip and stayed a 3 hotels in the same price range as the Hotel Lusso and it proved to be the best room that we stayed in. Great bed, not a garage sale find that we tried to sleep on at one of the other hotels. Highly recommended for the room and the archecture or the grand old building

We stayed in one of the penthouse suites and thoroughly LOVED it. The huge suite with the luxurious large bathroom and jacuzzi tub was just perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the linens very soft. Our room was very quiet and we heard almost no sounds from the hallway or rooms next door. The staff were very nice and attentive and the extra pillows […] were delivered within 20 minutes of our request. The WIFI was off and on and that made it a bit tough to get the small amount of work done that I needed to do. But I did manage to catch enough time with the WIFI on to get it done. Our room was very clean with a small exception. There were food crumbs in the guest services book and also inside of it we found a Viagra pill that had been left behind by a previous guest. That had a bit of an "ewwww" factor to it... But other than that, we loved our room and highly recommend this hotel. Lisez la suite

I have stayed at the Hotel Lusso many times in the past but hadn't been back for some time. I was dismayed to find that they are now owned and operated by the Davenport Hotel across the street and that there is no longer room service available. However, the hotel itself is still just as lovely and comfortable. Great location, walking distance to shopping […] and various restaurants. Rooms are very clean and luxurious and I loved the addition of liquid soap and lotion dispensers in the rooms, eliminating the wastefulness of bars and bottles. Beds are very comfortable and there was a range of pillows to choose from. All in all I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again. Lisez la suite

Convenient location right in downtown. We had a great dinner within walking distance and we were able to take in a movie at the shopping center right down the street. Perfect place to stay in Spokane.

Loved our stay at this hotel. Great location - steps from the falls, the Centenniel trail, and all of downtown. Staff was friendly and the hotel is spectacular. We were right near the elevators and still church mouse quiet. We had a charge for parking, but they we very polite about self parking and it was a reasonable rate given everything downtown […] had similar or higher rates. We loved everything about our stay at The Lusso from the minute we arrived. Excellent service, beautiful, spacious room, excellent location to downtown and the riverwalk. Would definitely recommend and return.

Great Davenport bed in a much more affordable room. Nice downtown location with lots of convenient off-hour parking. Quiet room, no complaints.

The Hotel Lusso is one of the nicest little boutique hotels not only in the Northwest but in the US! The rooms are lovely, the lobby is comfy and it is located right across the street from the Davenport Hotel another one of those incredible historic register places that has been done with no expense spared. There is a nice little pub connected to the […] hotel, great coffee across the street and you are within 2 blocks of Spokane's downtown area, within walking distance to the river and Spokane Falls (a must see in the spring).This is a great place to stay, period. Enjoyed our 4 day stay. On the plus side, the hotel is quite nicely appointed and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows and very soft sheets, my wife loved the bed. I might also add the the window coverings kept the room nice and dark for those who like to sleep in, pretty quiet as well, The pub right next store had pretty […] good food and drink at very resonable prices. There were only a couple of small issues. First, we hard a hard time getting a do not disturb sign and second, we had left our plates and a small amout of pastries to be cleaned up and when we returned that evening, there it still was, just kind of odd, a housekeeping quirk more than a big deal. Our only other complaint is the $20 a day for valet parking. We certainly understand that like a lot of downtown areas, parking is at a premium, but $20 a day plus a tip does add up. I have to say, I really enjoyed my stay. Minus only having coffee, tea, and coffee cake for breakfast, it made up for it with size of room and comfort.

We stayed at the hotel for a 2-night getaway. This was the first time we booked at the Lusso. We were pretty happy with everything. Staff are great; room was excellent; the pub was very good. We'll definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a large corner room on the north side of the hotel. Great bed, quiet and clean room. Just a great night and a great location in downtown Spokane.

Hotel was magnificent - decor beautiful, service of staff perfect. valet parking great as it was very cold. We thought we had died and gone to heaven - stayed 4 days but will go again soon. From the time I arrived until we left 2 nights later, I was impressed with the friendly courteous service from every employee I encountered. The room I rented was a "Deluxe Queen" -it was more like a small suite with several furniture pieces and a large flat-screen TV. Bathroom was large and elegant with lots of stone. The bed was possibly the best […] I've ever slept on. My usually sore back felt great in the morning. Other than the street noise from downtown (second floor room) which was mostly absorbed by the floor to ceiling window drapes, I couldn't find anything to complain about. Overall, the Lusso has the atmosphere, location, and service of it's neighbor the Davenport in a more intimate atmosphere. This is a great find and I will go back. Lisez la suite

pretty nice and clean, but this is an old place that has been upfit, so it doesn't exactly feel like a new hotel. It is not as luxurious as they make it sound. reasonably sized rooms with high ceilings.
