Nice hotel, very good service. Pool nothing special - sunbeds a little uncomfortable. Nice complimentary afternoon tea at 5.15 followed by sunset cruise. "Exceptional hotel"
We are travelling with our teenage daughter and the Superior Heritage Charm room. It was extremely spacious with plenty of room for the extra bed. The bathroom was also a great size and everything was well maintained. The service was outstanding, the meals amazing especially the fresh seafood. The pool area is also well maintained and has exceptional, […] friendly service. Being located away from old Kochi suited us, and we did use the local ferry to visit the old town which was very cheap and quick - lovely to return to the sanctuary of the hotel after a day exploring old Kochi. "Excellent , service orientated resort"
The resort is beautiful, well looked after and service orientated. The rooms are in 2 locations - the older part - which has very large rooms all facing the water, and the newer tower which has smaller but very adequate rooms. The hotel is very well groomed, and always smelled wonderul. The breakfast is amazing, lots of choices and the views from the […] dining room great. There is an after noon tea and boat ride at 5.30 complimentary, and great restaurants to choose from. It is a 5 min walk to the ferry ( or the hotel shuttle will take you) the ride is very cheap, and then another 5 min walk to Jew town on the other side. The hotel will provide car service to wherever you want to go, but it can be expensive. We grabbed a cab for 4 hours and he took us wherever we wanted and waited. I have stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels in my time, but this was something else. It's all about service at this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel like royalty and were extremely helpful and attentive, but not in that annoying way where you feel harassed. On arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks and a welcome pack. The hotel […] itself is beautifully furnished. We paid for breakfast, lunch and dinner but it was affordable and very tasty (Indian cuisine or Western). Whether you buy a drink at the bar, or order a meal, they give you little extras (such as bowls of snacks, bread baskets etc.). The rooms are very clean and are beautifully decorated. Lovely bathroom. The whole place oozes luxury and warmth. We used the free (same gender) jacuzzi, steam room and tropical shower - again, nothing but excellent service, clean and luxurious. The free boat ride and high tea are definite musts. There are also activities which we didn't use, such as yoga classes, cookie making workshops for kids etc. On our last day, we received complimentary breakfast (no idea why), and all the staff came outside to wave goodbye as we drove away. All the attention to detail pays off. The only potential criticism I can think of is that the photos of the infinity pool slightly overstates the reality. All I can do is applaud management for this fantastic hotel and recommend that anyone who stays in Kerala takes the time to stay at this hotel. The distance is totally worth it! A superb hotel with excellent service, food and surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the unprompted additional service we received - chilled water and water mellon at the pool and swimming coaching for the children. We also enjoyed the complimentary yoga in the morning and the tea and excellent refreshements served out on the terrace, as well as a […] boat trip to see the Chinese fishing nets also all complimentary. The staff all go beyond the call of duty. Food is delicious. Facilities are excellent and location is very convenient as the hotel is 5 mins walk to the jetty for a quick ride to Fort Cochin and sights, or to the new town for shopping. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms and common areas were well looked after and very comfortable. The food we had was delicious and the bar staff were friendly and attentive. We particularly liked the afternoon tea and boat trip. This gave us a chance to talk to talk to the other guests in an informal setting. We took 3 wheeler to Cochin […] and were lucky with our driver since he took us to all the sights and gave us a good tour. Av alle hotell jeg har vært på i dette området, er dette i en klasse for seg selv. Upåklagelig service,vakre omgivelser og varierte restauranter med svært […] god mat. Jeg vil trekke fram The Rice Boat i særklasse. De scampiene du får der, har jeg aldri smakt maken til.
