Les gratte-ciel de ce quartier d'affaires scintillent à l'ouest de Paris, à l'extrémité d'un grand axe. "High quality and service hotel near big mall"
We had a very pleasant stay. Everything was perfect, except there was a 10 minute walk to the mall outdoors and it was cold. On normal days its good. On the other hand to go to the metro we walked through the tunnel which was more comfortable away from the ice and snow. Service, cleanliness and amenities were perfect. Chambre de luxe et suite nickel. Voiturier et réception charmants. Petit bémol par rapport service cuisine. Le 1er soir, on a du renvoyer les hamburgers des enfants car la moitié des ingrédients manquaient dedans et lors du petit déjeuner, on a du patienter plus de 25 minutes pour que l'on nous serve le jus d'orange et que l'on prenne la commande des […] boissons. De plus, étant donne que j'avais réservé le jour même, on a bénéficier de super réductions et on a pu garder les chambres jusqu'à 16h00. Attention a l'emploi du GPS pour trouver l'hôtel car circulation en dessous de la plaque de la Défense et GPS totalement perdu! En déplacement professionnel pour un congrès qui se tenait à la défense, c'etait l'hôtel idéal. Pour les soirées, une ligne de métro direct nous emmenait au centre en 20 minutes. seul "hic", nous avions réservé pour 3 et il a fallu demander 3 fois pour qu'on nous intalle le 3e lit... a 23h! "Amazing hotel"
Great hotel, very well designed, modern, sleek rooms, see-through wall to the shower area :) , 1 minute from line 1 (yellow line) subway station, great service, very clean. "Worth the travelling time to Central Paris"
Another excellent Sofitel experience. We were upgraded again which was a great start to the stay and much appreciated. The room was lovely - dark browns highlighted with crimson and white and it looked very fresh and new. The coffee maker was of good quality and there was also a kettle for tea which was a nice touch. The bed was amazingly comfortable […] and the sheets and doona excellent. All bathroom products were Hermes and the towels and robes soft and absorbant. It was a very quiet location and we enjoyed looking out onto the Avenue La Defense. The travelling time into central Paris was about 20 minutes but it was a very easy commute, either by the Metro (five minues away) or the RER (ten minutes walk away but only about 4 stations). There is a large shopping centre above the last RER/Metro stop and it was open on Sunday which was a major plus. Having stayed many times in central Paris it was a nice change to come back after a busy day to such a quiet and pleasant hotel and on balance I would suggest it well worth the Metro trip. It is served by the Metro and so it is only ten minutes to the Centre of Paris, and only five minutes walk to a large shopping centre, that houses a number of restaurants and shops. the rooms are great, we stayed in a standard double and a suite on the second […] night and found both to be great.....the staff are attentive, and genuinely interested, and our stay was made EXCEPTIONAL due to the actions of one member of staff who acted over and above what we expected to ensure we enjoyed our second night at the hotel after we picked up the flu during a visit to Disneyland....I cannot recommend the hotel enough!!!!!!!!!!!! Excellent service throughout our 5 day stay . Christine at the reception was very friendly and gave us the best service in the world. Despite being part of a the Accor group (Ibis, Novotel, etc), this hotel is 5 star comfort with 5 star friendliness. You cannot ask for the wrong thing and staff genuinely seem to care about your comfort during your stay. Line 1 Metro, which takes you directly to the Champs Elysee, Arc de Triumphe is 3 minutes from the hotel and with easy connections […] to the other main places of interest. It is not for those seeking the feel of being in the centre of things, because La Defense is the main commercial centre of Paris, but for businessmen and/or those wishing to have a reasonably priced 5 star hotel that is within easy reach of everything the city has to offer, this is a great option for either business of pleasure in Paris.
