Hotel Campanile Nice Centre - Acropolis - Nice

Hôtel bien situé prés du vieux Nice. L'accueil est tout à fait correct. Pour le calme choisir une chambre sur cour, pour la vue préférez une chambre sur rue. Les chambres sont très propres. Cependant un petit lifting pourrait être envisagé pour l'ensemble de l'hôtel dans les années à venir.

Accueil très sympa,Chambre avec une magnifique vue sur le jardin du musée d'Art comptemporain. Très près du vieux Nice pour une superbe promenade. Seul bémol le parking public et payant .

L'hôtel est très bien situé.Son age fait que l'insonorisation générale est très en dessous de ce que l'on attend: l'ascenseur, les portes des chambres, les canalisations d'alimentation des SdB, les cloisons entre chambres: tout est hors normes. L'hôtel est idéalement situé à quelques mètres derrière la place Garibaldi . Seul bémol PAS DE PARKING propre à l'hôtel ce qui nous a obligé a partir a la recherche d'un emplacement pour la voiture car le parking publique le plus proche nous revenait à 20 euros du samedi 15h au dimanche 15h!!! Ça fait quand même très cher!! Les chambres sont propre […] et claires bien que petites, il ne faut y être que pour dormir. Points forts : Hôtel proche du port si besoin. Proche du Vieux Nice et du Musée Prix inférieur aux autres Campaniles classiques que j'ai pratiqué Point faible : Pas de restaurant ni de parking propre à l'établissement. Conclusion : Confort inférieur aux Campaniles classiques style motels. Bien pour un bref passage .

un bonne hôtel , avec un' accueille très sympa.

Pour une nuit après un mariage, c'était très bien. En plus, nous avions une chambre au dernier étage, avec une terrasse donnant sur l'Acropole et sur le vieux Nice, terrasse plus grande que la chambre (!!!) et très agréable le matin pour prendre un mini-petit déjeuner, fourni dans la chambre (bouilloire, thé, café, et petits biscuits).

Hôtel bien situé, proche de la gare routière, du vieux Nice et de la mer. Hôtel propre et bien entretenu. Le plateau courtoisie avec café, thé et petit biscuit dans la chambre, génial! Chambre petite mais parfaite quelques nuits. Personnel très bien, je conseille vivement cet hôtel.

The hotel was in a great location with only a 10 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to a bus stop which had services to Eze, Monaco, etc. There is a large grocery store around the corner and many nice restaurants. I would recommend this […] hotel, but be warned, when you depart do NOT call a cab to take you to the train station. The bus is around the corner which is 1 Euro. In our opinion this hotel is an example of excellent value for money. It combines the great location for visiting Nice centre and old town, with great views and excellent helpful service. Our room albeit cosy was well maintained and we were provided with clean towels and new toileteries daily.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff helpfull and spoke good English. Ideal location close to trams and buses, walking distance to port and beaches.We would definitely recommend this hotel, good value for money and ideal for a short break in the city. Would definitely book again in the future.

This was a very nice and comfortable hotel to stay in. It was so central to the buses and the trams. The receptionists working at the hotel had very good English and were willing to assist and plan our trips. I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family. It was also a very clean hotel and our room was serviced every day.

In the old town area...so good location and easy access to public transportation. Rooms are basic, but very clean. If you are looking for a cheap but clean hotel ,then this is it.

Hotel Campanile Nice Centre - Acropolis is situated in the center of Nice, on the borders of the old town, close to the Acropolis convention center (a 5 minute leisurely walk), close to the Museum of Modern & contemporary art and a 10 minute walk form the Promenade des Anglais and the beaches. It is close to tram and bus lines that take you anywhere […] in the city fast (the tram takes about 10 minutes to get to the main train station (Nice Ville / Thiers) from where you can take trains that link all the Cote d'Azur from Monao/Monte Carlo to Cannes and beyond all the way to Marsille; and run as often as 20 minutes apart The hotel itself is clean, the staff speaks English well (as well as Italian and Spanish), the rooms are not overly big but kept clean and pleasant, with large, comfortable beds, tv, phone and bathrooms with tub. Breakfast is all you can eat, and although it' has the same offerings every day, it is a very good waay to start the day - good hot chocolate, too :) Overall, the hotel is very good value for money and I will return there when I come next time to Nice. Hotel is clean and quite comfortable. Standard size rooms for European places. Right around the corner from the tram stop, and less than 5 minute walk from Old Nice and about 10 minute walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants/cafes nearby, a supermarket at the end of the block. Its a fair bit of a bus ride from the airport to the tram and then just a […] couple of stops on the tram to the hotel. Breakfast was buffet style, lots of choices - meat, cheese, pastries, breads, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea. Always tasty and plentiful. What makes the hotel great was the staff. Airline lost our bags and they went out of their way to help, very friendly and accomodating, spoke English, French, Italian for sure, and I think one lady spoke German as well. the hotel is in fact 2*, but is worth the money. is close to bus stops, centre of the town , port , old town and different shops. the room was very clean with own bathroom. room was small and little bit noisy from hall way.

We booked this hotel last minute. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a spacious room, but we booked a queen and we got a three person room so that helped with space. I enjoyed my night.

Excellent service and help from the staff at the front desk who were very friendly and patient with our efforts at French. Small but tidy rooms. Air conditioning was great although a little loud at night, but earplugs resolved that. Free wi fi was a bonus. The hotel has clean if small rooms, is in a good neighborhood and is good value for money

Very nice hotel situated not far from the beach and many vibrant squares of Nice. The room itself was very small but clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The traffic noise was not a problem as we had a back facing room. We did not go for the 10e breakfast. I would stay again for a short period of time although next […] time i would probably pay a bit more and get something a bit bigger and for a longer stay in the city as we only had 2 nights here. Excellent hotel. Very price friendly, clean room (no bed bugs), free Wifi, decent breakfast. Though I requested that they did not clean my room, though in fact they did. Minor fault compared to excellent stay at hotel.

The hotel is located just to the north of the Nice's old town (about 15/20 minute walk to the Promonade des Anglais). Room was clean with standard facilities: double bed, TV, bathroom (bath is a bit small but adequate). When I was looking for a hotel in Nice, there were cheaper hotels on offer but they often had complaints about cleanliness; I was happy […] to spend a bit more for the peace of mind. Free wireless Internet is available; you'll need to enter a code when joining the network on your computer. Codes are available at reception (you'll need to enter a new one each day). A buffet breakfast is available for an extra charge. It's a continental breakfast with a decent selection of cereals, croissants, pastries, fruit, ham/cheese, bread etc. When I went in April 2011 it cost nine euros per day (you pay when checking out). I was here for a conference at the Acropolis, and spent some time in Nice before and after. I was initially concerned that this was a two-start hotel, but decided to take a chance based on the other reviews. I was very happy with the stay. The best parts were that the room was very clean (this is critical for me), and the shower had plenty of hot water […] and high pressure. The location was also excellent for the Acropolis, and was actually closer than most of the conference hotels. The staff was also very friendly, and helpful, and fluent in English. And of course the wireless internet worked great, and allowed unlimited downloads (another hotel I stayed at in France limited the internet usage to 200MB per 24 hours). So I was able to get work done, sleep well, have a great shower in the morning, and walk to the Acropolis in less than 5 minutes. I could not have been happier. One downside was that the main street out front is pretty noisy, which made it hard to sleep with the window open. The window is double-pane glass, and pretty soundproof, so if the air conditioning is working, then it would be fine (we were there in April, so they had not activated it yet - but the temperatures that week were far above normal, so it could get pretty hot during the day with the window closed). The rooms that face the back of the hotel are much quieter though (I stayed in one of those on a return visit), so you can request one if you really want the window open. The other downside is that the hallway noise can be pretty loud, and we kept thinking that someone was trying to get into our room whenever the people next door were opening their room. And of course the room was pretty small, but this is to be expected in France, and especially at this price. All things considered, none of these problems were serious. I didn't try the breakfast, but there were plenty of places to eat nearby and throughout the city. I would definitely stay there again, especially for the price. This one o Lisez la suite

For a 2* hotel, this hotel is quite good. The bathroom was relatively clean. The walls were newly painted. The location is perfect if you are going to Nice for a conference in the Acropolis. However, the noise from the hallway and the nearby rooms could be heard so loudly from the room! The base of the bed had no skirt, so you could see how old and […] musty it wass. The sheets were clean but because I saw the base, I was paranoid about bed bugs (I have no proof there were any), but I did start to feel itchy. The 9 Euro price for breakfast was not worth it, as there was nothing even hot being offered! The staff was lovely, however. Very helpful and gracious and friendly. Nothing fancy, basic rooms, very clean, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff. I was there for a conference at the Acropolis and the location is great.

A very reasonable experience without getting excited about any aspect of the hotel. What is it about French hotels that they are always less than you expect for your money. Small rooms and no in room coffee making facilities are only two of our disappointments. Small showers over baths make it difficult for the less nimble to shower. I should have spent the extra money and upgraded to a different, better quality, hotel. The room I stayed in felt like a very beat down dorm room. The staff was not very helpful, actually they were rude. No PARKING, so beware of that.

First, sory for my English, but please, try to understand. Hotel was nice and just perfect us two (my wife and me). The hotel was clean and personel was kindly. Room was small and little bit oldfashion, but only thing what we wish was some closet for our luggages. We do not have bad things to say at this hotel.

Overall positive. Very close to the old town. Parking pretty expensive: 22€ per day

If you are looking for a functional good value for money and friendly hotel in Nice, give the Campanile a go. It is not luxurious, but it is clean and comfortable, is conveniently located close to the Gare Routiere and the old town, has friendly and helpful staff, and much needed aircon and a good shower. The room has good sound insulation and is also […] equipped with a kettle and complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits. Very good hotel for its price and it should earn 3 stars. Small but clean rooms. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was worth the 9 Euros.

Room was nice and clean not far from trolley and buses. It was small but it had air conditioning which I really came to appreciate during a European summer.

I was not expecting much of the hotel as it was the cheapest we could find at short notice in early August, but i was pleasantly surprised. Great place to stay for budget travelers. Walking distance to everywhere. Very supportive and helpful staff. Even price was little more than planned, but since it was weekend and summer time, plus festival it was understandable.

This hotel was way better than we expected. It came with a tea/coffee maker in the room and some small snacks. The bed was comfortable and it was a short walk to the beach. Our only problem was a leaky pipe in the bathroom. Good deal!

Helt greit hotell. Romme vårt var ganske lite og trangt. God service. Veldig nærme handlegater og resturanter. Litt kjedelig frokost, lite pålegg å velge mellom,.nystekte bagetter. Mye forskjellig varm drikke. Billig og greit hotell. Anbefales.
