Very comfortable and clean.

Very close to UT Southwestern and Parkland Hospitals, extremely friendly staff, delicious restaurant, great bar and bartender!! My only two complaints were for the price of the room that we didn't have a refridgerator, and that we were notified after paying that the next time we came for a doctor appointment we could ask for a "medical" rate...wish […] they could have just given me that rate on this stay! We stayed in Dallas bc a family member was at Baylor hospital. When I made the reservation, I was tired and didn't realize that I made it for the wrong date. The management was so nice they were able to fix it for us at no extra charge. The bar also had a great happy our and the room was very comfy and clean. I would differently go back again.

Whenever I'm in Dallas I stay at this hotel. It is convenient to highways and Dallas attractions.

The only issues we had was that the beds were too hard and the bathroom is small - otherwise a great room with a wonderful staff.

Room was OK. Smallish, weird shaped room. Bed was fine. Heater was really loud kept waking me up. But for a one night stay close to a lot of locations in Dallas it is decent stay. I would ask next time not to get a room at the end of the hall where the rooms got smaller.

was ok and clean. Missing some things I've had in less expensive hotels. A blowdryer, mini refridg, and microwave in room. No payperview movies, and no snack vending machine,

This place was great and so was the price. When we arrived, the heat in our room didn't work. They changed our room immediately and comped breakfast in the morning (good, hot breakfast buffet btw). The bed was awesome, the room and especially the bathroom was clean and felt brand new. The thing we noticed most was how helpful and friendly the staff […] was. There was a convention in town and we witnessed several guests being extremely snarky with the desk clerks who remained friendly and tried to accommodate everyone. The location was perfect - a block from the market and easy to find and get to. We'll book this hotel from now on when we come to Dallas. AWESOME all the way around. Lisez la suite

Trains run all night! We decided to eat at the hotel resterant because it was raining. They took our drink order, 1 coffee & 1 water. They got it wrong. They took our food order. 30 Min later we got our soup and salad...30 more min they come by with the check....we NEVER got our main course. Needless to say we did not pay! The bright spot is the people […] at the front desk and Joe the shuttle driver....they are very helpful & friendly. Breakfast buffet is very good. I stayed at the Holiday inn the first part of my vacation and the Hilton Anatole the second half. I got better service for my money at the Holiday inn. I could used the internet on their computer, I could eat at a reasonable price, I had free transportation around the city, I had access to a microwave,and the service was great! The Hilton has great […] see nary but way over priced! For my money I would stay at the Holiday Inn for the same comfort an wayyyyyyy less Money. Hotel staff was very polite, helpful and professional. The only problem was the shower head had no pressure and the carpet was coming loose from the wall by the window. Other than that, everything was fine. Nice pool. Friendly staff.

Hotel was close to our destination. But, it was also VERY close to the train tracks and we were awakened at 4:15 am by the train that then ran at least every hour! The neighborhood was also pretty rough. But, the hotel itself was pretty clean.

We had an overnight for a hospital visit for a relative so the location a few blocks away was perfect. The price for the room was decent but throwing in the free breakfast made it a great deal. Perfect location and price for a trip to the Dallas area. Would stay again for other trips in a minute.

Since we got a great price for the room I was expecting a run down hotel, but to our surprise we found the hotel to be great, confortable and great location to DT Dallas. I guess we got lucking on the rate thru hotels.com.

The hotel room was very nice but my room for the two nights we were there was so hot that I was waking up sweating. When we asked for them to come check the ac, the man checked the temperature of the air vent not the actual room and told us to give it ten minutes. We fell asleep and again woke up sweating. The room totaly was not worth the price. I have stayed at better hotels in Downtown Dallas before that where under half the price of this one! I do have to give credit to the staff which was extremely nice, but the overall service of the hotel was not very good. The bathrooms where not very clean. I would expect the rooms we had got from the Holiday […] Inn from a two star hotel. The only thing posative I do have to say about the room is the beds where very comfortable. Lisez la suite

It was fine, but the room was frigid and I couldn't adjust the temp. The bathroom sink drain smelled awful. Yuck. Staff was really friendly and room was otherwise clean. Not great but OK.

I was there for a large scientific conference where almost all other guests were scientists. Frankly, I cannot image staying there with any other demographic. The neighborhood is simply frightening (as a man, I would not even walk in the area) and the location is not convenient at all to downtown.

The stay was wonderful. The check-in staff was nice and professional. The room was clean, the AC was cold, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I will stay here again!

No vending machines in the entire hotel. Snack room was down stairs was empty our whole stay. Air Conditioning quit working. Remote was missing. Not an enjoyable weekend.

Tired older property badly in need of a refurb. One step up from sleeping in your car. Located next to subway tracks in the rear and passenger rail half a block away means no sleep without earplugs. First, the good points. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to the freeway and only 5 minutes from downtown. Now the bad. The place is a bit rundown. We booked 3 rooms for a trip to the Super Bowl. One of the rooms had to be changed twice because there was no way to regulate the temperature. Once a room was found without […] that problem, the toilet didn't work. To their credit, the hotel staff was very quick to try and help. You get the feeling they are trying to make the best of a bad situation. Also, be aware that two trains are very near the property, one in front across the street and one directly behind the hotel. You can definately hear them when they pass by. The neighborhood surrounding the place is a bit bleak, but there is a fine tex-mex restaurant a few blocks away on Maple called Ojeda's. The room and hotel was clean and the cafe food was good. It is also only 2 miles from downtown. The only problem we had was that we called someone about the central unit b/c we could not make the room cooler...and they never came. Not a problem for one night but could be a prob for a longer stay...

Check-In was excellent! Staff was extremely courteous & friendly. The room was in great condition. The only two issues we had: 1: The water coming out of the shower was intermittent with the hot & cold. It was mostly cold and it was very hard to control. 2: The restaurant area was really noce, but the service was not good at all. We were one of maybe […] three families at most in the restaurant and it took about 1 hour to get a kids meal and two entrees out with two waiters working. The hotel was about 5 minutes to the American Airlines Center and the rest of the CBD of Dallas. The lobby was elegant and inviting. I was greeted warmly at the front desk and completed check-in in a timely manner. The room was fairly spacious and clean. It consisted of two double beds, a flat screen tv, closet with ironing board, and the shower in the bathroom had good pressure. I could recommend this hotel to a friend.

The hotel staff was very efficient. Our room was upgraded to priority status because they hadn't run a room report yet when we checked in. We got a great, comfortable room and everything was clean. It was very quiet, we were on the 6th floor. Leaving and getting to the interstate was easy also. A great stay and would definitely stay there again.

I have stayed at this location 6 times over the past ten years. Each time, it was a good value for the money, but this last stay was a great value. It has been 3-4 years since my previous stay and I must say that the hotel has changed for the better, definitley better. It was OK to good before. They have remodeled the rooms and upgraded the level of […] service. The lobby and hallways are nice, but could use some sprucing up, not much, but some. The rooms on the other hand were great. Very comfortable and the included amenities are a definite plus. They now have flat screen TV's and very, very comfortable furnishings. A new feature is the available room service. I did not use it, but it is a convenient addition and at a reasonable cost from what I could tell. I will definitely stay there again and again. Lisez la suite

Very good central location without the downtown price. Great value for the money.

This hotel is very close to all sorts of activities that you may be planning while in Dallas, nightlife, great places to eat, dancing, you name it. The hotel is not rated a 5 star hotel for a reason but for a comfortable stay with a decent room this is a great value. They also have on sight parking lot security at night and the front desk people were […] great to work with. Hotel room was clean, a/c worked but made the room feel a little damp at times. All in all, a good value for the money considering the location. Oh yes, it does have train tracks near by so that does mean a train horn every once in a while...not a deal breaker! Lisez la suite

The first room that we were given a key to didn't have any water, the bath was dirty and the floor looked as if it hadn't had a steam clean in a year. When complaining about this to the customer service representative, she was rude and insensitive to our complaint, yet reluctantly gave us access to another room. When finally heading up the rickety […] elevator, walking across the grimy carpet to the second room, we opened the door with the expectation that all would somehow wonderful when we opened the door. Much to our dismay, we opened the door to a vacuum cleaner staring back at us. So, I marched back down again to speak to the unwelcoming hotel receptionist, who again presented me with a third room key. This time, expecting the worst, we got to the room which reeked of cigarette smoke, and also had a dirty appearing bathtub. Stayed one night in Dallas and picked this hotel for it's location. It's really easy to find, only a couple of minutes from I-35. We didn't go to the West End or Deep Ellum, but front desk said it was about 10 minutes away. Right across the street from Convention center. Plenty of places to eat within 5 minutes. It has a hotel bar, which actually stays […] open late, plus they give you a free drink coupon. Rooms were decent and clean for the price. I'd stay here again. I give it 3 stars. Lisez la suite
