Picking my daughter up from ECU..... absolutely ideal for overnight stay. Convenient location and cheap! You get what you pay for - but this was ideal!

I would only reccomemd this hotel to someone if they are looking for a cheap rate. If you want great amenities.....i suggest you stay somewhere else. It served the purpose i needed it for.

This is an older property. The bath tub had some stains and the grout was discolored. The tub faucet was separated from the fiberglass and this showed an unsightly gap. The bed mattress was darkly stained on all four corners. The room was clean and the office staff were very courteous and friendly. The rate was very economical.

We arrived and the room had a very unpleasant smell, kind of, but not quite, like a smoking room (we asked for non-smoking). We tried two other rooms and they all smelled the same, so since we couldn't get our money back, we decided to tough it out. We finally figured out the smell was caused by mildew and humidity. It was unpleasant, but we were able […] to adjust after a while. The dark carpets were gross - my white socks were gray after a few minutes waling on it. The sheets seemed clean, but the blankets were threadbare and stained. The mattress pad didn't fit, and the sheets didn't fit.. The shower was nice, but most of the bathroom was in really bad shape. The door would close, but barely latched due to a large gap in the door frame when it closed, and the door frame was completely rotted out at the floor. There was a slight urine smell. Mattress was OK, and shower was nice, but all in all, one of the worst places we've stayed in a very long time. Lisez la suite

The stay was fine but the room needs a lot of improvement. Cigarette burn on toilet lid, rust stain on floor behind toilet, cabinets locked under sink, black bag of something in freezer and other things that should have been taken care of.

Non-smoking room smelled like it was smoked in, bedspread felt like there were bed bugs.

Felt really uncomfortable and feared for my family's safety. Could not sleep from the noises coming through the paper thin walls and loud toilet flushes.

While visiting my granddaughter at ECU, I found what I required at Greenville Tavelodge - a clean, comfortable, inexpensive and convenient accomodation to shower and sleep.

Hotel was run down and really shabby. Bathroom walls on the bottom were no longer there and bathroom door would not close. Swimming pool was small enough to be a bath tub,

Terrible! Hotel room was a mess. Cabins were broken, bathroom doors did not lock and air conditioner did not work.

For a 2 star motel, this place of decent for the price. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The pool is tiny. The continental breakfast was honey buns and cereal.

I was looking for a moderately-priced one-night stay... just a place to lay my head the night before an early meeting. I got exactly what I paid for. My encounter with the proprietor was brief but pleasant, and my computerized reservation was waiting as promised. The motel is showing its age which I estimate to be 30+ years old. My room - listed and […] marked as "non-smoking" - smelled like an old locker room. I did my best to air out the room, and ran the bath exhaust fan all night. I do not believe there is a fresh air setting on the thru-wall AC unit. The AC unit, like those in many other motels, reeked of mildew when it was running. The room was basically shop-worn but clean (except for some old debris trapped in the corners of the tile floored bath). I encountered no six or eight legged creatures the entire stay. The TV worked. Did not use the pool, but it is barely the size of a one-car parking space. Did not take advantage of the "continental breakfast" offered, so have no info to offer. Lisez la suite
