The room was small, but perfect for one person. Fridge, microwave and big screen TV were nice to have. Close to shopping locations. Very satisfied.

Reservation was fast and simple. Lady at the front desk was very polite and efficient. The room was clean and plenty. The parking is adequate and close by. I have asked for a room to oversee my car parking below. Location was perfect for my meeting.

This hotel reservation was one of those unplanned visits. I had a flight out of Pearson going into Calgary and needed a hotel to stay at and I got an awesome deal thru hotels.com. I never tried hotels.com but tried the online app and boy did I get a killer discount .. And I hope and plan on booking many hotel stays. Anyways back to the Monte Carlo inn […] Toronto west the staff was awesome. Tony was a gentleman and so was the lady working the desk the pm shift was helpful. The first hotel I stopped in to see if they had any vacancies.. didn't. So I hopped on line and found this one at a great price. The room lived up to the pictures. It was very clean, well maintained, and the staff was very helpful and considerate. I will definitely be staying there again.

The city was booked so we ended up with a smoking room. The management put an air cleaner in the room for an hour but it really didn't help much. somewhat of a haul to the city center. There were stores and shops in the neighborhood but otherwise the property was plain and dated.

Overall the hotel and contents were "tired", but clean. Check out the rubber tub mat in Room 204, it looks like it was soaked in rust! Really, they could spring for clean accessories. Also, they could clean up the mold in the caulking around the tub. Breakfast had an abundance of choices, but hardly room for 2 in the preparation area, and only room […] for six very slim people in the indoor eating area. Nothing even resembled the television ads for a Monte Carlo stay. In fairness, this was a very old building and probably not originally configured for a breakfast area! Lisez la suite

we were very pleased with our stay at the monte carlo clean rooms and good parking, and a nice breakfast.

It is a good hotel, close to TTC, and family friendly.

Pro: Rooms were clean and quit, staff were very friendly and helpful. Con: Noisy aircondition.

This stay was a good deal for what we paid on a holiday weekend. I had some concern with some of the other guests but over all it was a quiet stay. One item that was a bit frustrating was the lack of wi-fi connectivity from our room.

great hotel. very happy with service..

We chose this hotel because of the location - very close to the Hall of a wedding we attended Saturday night.... here's what bothered us about the hotel: Only 2 tiny flimsy stained and greyish towels in room, not even large enough for a child to dry with 1/2 a roll of toilet paper only, no spare The bed was like a hard bowl, edges high, centre low - […] but all very very firm without any cushioning. Fuzzy cable channels, not clear at all... even for non-HD The A/C stopped working around 4am, with only the fan still working, blowing room-temp air into the room... frost was visible in the A/C unit (it was a hot evening, A/C was a must for us here. The hot humid air compromised our sleep!) The alarm clock that we did not set woke us up at 7:30am - are you kidding me? Sure, note to self, we could have checked first, but imo the cleaners should have checking/turning off alarms from previous guests as a part of their routine. The flourescent bulbs are energy efficient, but better suited for a jail or trailer park, as they were very harsh throughout the room - not the soft versions - and the 3 horrible bulbs above the sink mirror made applying make-up impossible, I stood by the window with my tiny purse mirror to get my make-up on! The desk lamp didn't work. The windows are not made to open, the only way to get air in is by the A/C / heating unit - that was faulty. The good thing: they gave us a 2-hour extended check-out time when we requested it at sign-in...we ended up needing it because we were up for 2 hours after the alarm woke us, trying to get back to sleep. When I mentioned the a/c and the alarm to the morning desk clerk at sign-out, I got a shrug, no apology, no explanation, no credit, nothing.... I would never stay at this hotel again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I liked. Lisez la suite

If you want just the basic amenities and a clean, decent room, Monte Carlo would be right for you. I'm pretty satisfied with everything else during my stay EXCEPT for their breakfast. When they say "free breakfast" they mean free bread, butter and coffee...so don't expect omelette, sausages, waffles, etc...don't expect anything cooked, just prepared […] stuff. Anyways, there is a Chinatown in Mississauga which is only 3 km away from the hotel. You can eat there if you like Asian food. They also have Thai and Vietnamese restaurants around the vicinity. Overall, Monte Carlo is a decent place to stay with all the basic things that we need in the room. No complaints about anything else except for the breakfast. But for the price we paid, I would say we were more satisfied than dissatisfied. Lisez la suite

If you just need a place to crash, this is alright. The room wasn't very big, but was fine as I wasn't around all that much. There also isn't much in the immediate area.

I told the manager that our t.v wasn't working and he asked if it was pluged in and i checked and it was. He didn't say much after and that ws about it. In the morning i told the lady at the fron desk, all she said was o we will have to check that out.

Our stay in the hotel was comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful. Their continental breakfast was good and coffee and tea were available at all times. There was no iron or ironing board in the room and no coffee machine, but as mentioned above coffee and tea were available always. The room was very small and there were not enough towels in the […] room - one each bath and if you washed your hair in the shower you used a hand towel. This could be improved upon. We were surprised (and pleased) to see the condition of the hotel in general and our room in particular. The room wasn't ready when we arrived as we were a little early, and when we returned about an hour later, it still wasn't. The woman at the desk immediately up-graded our room to one of their best rooms at no cost. We were very pleased with our […] stay there. I don't understand why this hotel is only rated as a two-star. I would have thought it deserved at least a three. We certainly weren't expecting the Royal York for the price we paid! For the right price it is OK

Bed was very uncomfortable. There was a glass window on top of the door which had bright lights shining in the room all day and night, which made it impossible to sleep. The heat did not work properly at all. The hotel is made like a maze, took us 10 minutes to find the toom

needs much improvement. nothing like the pictures. Breakfast place is smaller then the bathrooms, air conditioner sounded like an airplane.

For the price paid this Monte Carlo Inn was great value for money. Since I was traveling by car and needing to go in to central Toronto the location was great - accessing Central Toronto was a straight shot down Dundas and Bloor Street. De kwaliteit van de tv is zeer slecht. Je bent de hele tijd door sneeuw aan het kijken. Het alarm ging om 00:00 af zonder dat ik die had gezet. De kamer is niet zo groot als hij lijkt op de foto's. Verder is het prima als je van plan bent om 1 á 2 dagen te blijven.
