"perfect location for our particular needs"
This hotel was good enough, but for the price I paid, I expected more. Some of the service was outstanding, some was just okay. I was especially annoyed at the person helping a customer negotiate a lower rate when checking in. I asked about getting that rate and he basically said, "too bad for you." Surrounding neighborhood is sketchy, at best. I couldn't […] decide if the large police presence made me feel more or less safe... I recommend requesting a room that faces away from the street -- sirens woke us up throughout the night. Lisez la suite

"Having fun in the warm California Sun"
I went to see Bruce Springsteen at the nearby Sports Arena. It was very convenient for that purpose. It is also on the route 81 bus stop heading Downtown and very close to Union Station which is the one place in L.A. that you can get virtually anywhere if you choose to travel by walking, bus or train as i did. There was little open after 10:00 pm in […] the area which limits your food or drink choices as Bruce routinely finishes his shows at 11:00 or later as most fans know. That being said most people at the hotel when i was there were also there for the concerts which made walking from the arena back to the hotel as safe as any neighbourhood could be. The hotel offered a SUPERB choice of television stations to watch. I had a little trouble with the in-room phone but the front desk staff took care of it. It probably isn't an issue for most people with blackberries or other smart phones. The whirlpool was extremely useful given the amount of walking in and around the city i did. I would like it if it were open a little later than 10:00pm. Overall it was a very satisfying stay. A solid 4 stars out of 5. Lisez la suite
"Forget About It"
The hotel is an overpriced joke. Both elevators were broken during my stay making it an adventure to get to your room. Once you could get to your room you find that the beds are very uncomfortable. The noise from the surrounding area was also far greater than expected. The staff was friendly and helpful but this positive did not out weigh the many negatives. […] I stayed here as it was a convenient location but I advise looking for another hotel as you will be disappointed. Lisez la suite
"was ok"
Nothing terrible, but nothing great about it. Would stay again, but would also look around.
I was concerned about my security. A man was seen near the elevator on the 3rd floor more than once. The elevators should be secured with "keys" to each floor.

"Close to USC, but noisy rooms"
I was here for 3 nights. I was given a room on the 5th floor facing Fig, didn't sleep a wink with all the trucks and buses rumbling by. The next night, I moved to a room on the 10th floor facing the back, which had much quieter traffic, but was right across from a hospitality suite, so not great, but still quieter at night for sleeping. But I also lost […] some of the features I had in my 5th floor room. No ipod charger/clock radio, which I needed since my charging cord was not working. Also the magnifing mirror on the 5th flr had lights which was nice, while the 10th did not. Small perks that I lost. And can I just say, wow, they need to invest in some softer toilet paper. Serious sand paper. Lisez la suite

"Location and Restaurants Only Reason to Stay Here"
It's proximity to USC is a huge plus, as well as a couple of associated restaurants for decent eating in a college area, but the hotel maintenance and service was very dissapointing. The common areas, the elevator, and the gym were dirty, and the scratched elevator paneling sorely needs a facelift. Some of the exercise equipment in the gym was broken, […] the water tank was left empty, and the ice machine on our floor wasn't working. The hotel staff was nice enough, but didn't seem very interested or responsive about upkeep issues. We only stay here because it's across the street from USC and our recent experience again reminded us why. Lisez la suite
"Raddisson @ USC"
Hotel is well situated close to usc and lalive.
"Nice location but..."
We went to LA to visit the Natural History Museum and decided to stay in this hotel. The hotel is very close to the museum and that was the main reason we selected it. 1. Elevator The elevator is old and noisy 2. Room Bathroom was old and dirty I think we could have gotten a better room somewhere else for our money. Another thing to consider is that […] you have to pay for parking ($20). Lisez la suite
"Alright"
Nice room and freindly service; however, there was construction going on and it went on all night. You can hear the water as the toilets are being flushed during the night.
"Radisson USC is nice, but!"
The Radisson at USC is a nice, newly refurbished hotel. However, there are a couple of things that were annoying and made our stay less than what it should/could have been. First, our check-in was perfunctory and only slightly better than non-existent. Help was nowhere to be found - parking car, luggage, etc. The room was clean and nice, but the windows […] - overlooking their parking garage were so dirty, both inside and outside that we felt we were in a ghetto. The final insult was that there were no real glasses, even in the bathroom - only paper/plastic glasses wrapped in cellophane. We asked for some glasses and were told they didn't have any because of the renovation and didn't know when they would get them. When we suggested they get some from the bar, the response was negative. For our purpose in LA, the location was perfect and we recommend the hotel, but they really should do something about the issues I mention above. Lisez la suite
The best part about this hotel is the location - if you are a visiting parent to a student at USC. The room could use some sprucing up and a good cleaning but generally the convienence of the location trumps all.

"Not a good value"
There are few hotel choices if you need close proximity to USC. The common areas of this hotel look great and have been recently renovated. However, the rooms are from the late 1980s. The mattresses in my room were really old and terrible, not comfortable at all. The hotel was also very noisy from street traffic on one side and construction on the other. […] In all, it's just not a good value. Better to stay in downtown LA where there are many more choices and better rates. Lisez la suite
"Great Location - Horrible Hotel"
The hotel had not prepared for the UCLA/USC football game and sold all of its parking to game attendees, rather than its own guests. No hotel employee showed any sympathy for our having searched for a parking spot in the crowded parking structure for over an hour. One elevator was out of service and they only had two, so hundreds of football fans and […] concert goers were lined up throughout the day waiting for one elevator. I took the stairs to our room on the ninth floor and the staircase was filthy. The room's view was lackluster, to say the least. We could watch football fans drink and relieve themselves next to others' cars. I told the manager and he stood there, dumbfounded, not even offering to have security investigate. The bathtub looked as though it had been hastily installed on top of an older tub, so we had to step two feet high to clear the tub without stubbing our toes or bruising our shins. The manager at the hotel acted as though the football game were a complete surprise to him. All of his staff were wholly unprepared to deal with the number of guests. Their apathetic attitudes only made everything worse. We'll never return. Lisez la suite

the drain plug for the shower was stuck and would flood the bathroom,i had to remove the shower plug to keep this from happening.no cups to wash out your mouth after washing teeth.hot tub by swimming pool was inop.very noisy from outside noise and we were on the 6th floor.not a very good stay.kind of stuck with parking.had to pay $15.00 a night with […] no other options for parking TERRIBLE STAY Lisez la suite
Elevator needs to be fixed or replaced. Room doors are old and they get jammed. Not to mention, the reading cards do not work also.

"The Hotel is OK"
Close to USC, many bus stops and Habor Freeway, it is quite convenient to travel to the must see sights in LA. The room is clean and comfortable, but the AC is a little noisy.

"Hotel is old; needs renovation."
I chose this hotel for location -- close to USC -- but the hotel is run down and poorly maintained. Elevator was broken when I was there. Sinks are leaking as well. Decor is run down. However, staff is nice.

It is clean and comfortable. Bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept. Only I do not like that they do not have any complimentary (free) service such as breakfast, tea. coffee service etc.. Also their waterline is connected wrong. When you turn on hot water you get cold water and vice verse.
"Remodel is going on and lots of rooms are not"
I wish I could say this was a great stay, but it was not! I have stayed in Ramada's in various locations within and outside Ca. This hotel's lobby looks great but the price is way over the going rate in the area. The first room I was given an old not remodeled /dank smelling room and I tripped twice getting into the elevator because it was not level […] when arriving to the floor I was on. I went downstairs to advise the front desk (who did not answer the phone) then I learned she was along. She did give another room that had just been remodeled so that was a little better ...but I still feel as though I was ripped of. I actually paid less to stay in a Hilton property that was definately a much better property. Lisez la suite

"Doing Construction!"
The hotel and it's neighboring construction site make for a very noisy stay. I brought my sick son there from USC to recuperate, and we had to leave because of the the persistent drilling and hammering. It is convenient to the University, but if you plan on spending any time in your hotel room, choose another place until the construction is completed. […] Also, the restaurant next door is very expensive - $18 for a grilled cheese. There are better options a short walk from the hotel. Lisez la suite

"hotel near USC or Hebrew Union College"
Excellent for easy access to needed locations, and to avoid heavy traffice when staying farther away...and also easy access to downtown LA via Fiigueroa Ave or by taxi. dan
"Good location."
Great location when visiting campus. Rooms are outdated. Not good bathrooms
"Really Nice! Walked to USC football in LA Coliseum"
As nice as you would expect a Radisson to be. $15 per night for parking.
"Beautiful Lobby"
The lobby and public areas of this hotel are first rate but when you get into the elevator there is a huge disconnect. I was very inpressed when I pulled up the the front of the hotel the front and view inside was outstanding. The desk clerk was friendly, welcoming and very professional. His appearence was flawless. He give me my room key and directed […] me to the elevator the doors to the elevator opened and I thought I was in a rundown 1980's flop house. The hallway to my room and the room itself were the same. I spent a lot of money for that room and I was not and am not impressed. Lisez la suite
"Better than a 2.5 star"
Booked this hotel for the super convenient location to USC, but was pleasantly surprised. Cleaner, nicer, and staff more pleasant than what you would expect at a 2.5 star hotel. You can't go wrong here if you want a nice clean comfortable hotel. The only downside is there is construction going on next door, so sleeping in late is not really an opti […] on. Lisez la suite

"Undergoing needed renovations"
Fine place except that most of the rooms are in need of renovation, which is currently underway. Once complete, should be very nice. Very convenient right next to USC, but otherwise not a great location.
"The Radison Hotel at UNC"
This is across the street from the campus and very convenient. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are very nice.
"Low-end Radisson"
Not at all what I expected of Radisson. Creeky elevators, dated furnishings, musky smell, drafty. Directly across the street from USC, so very convenient if you are visiting, but definitely a low-end hotel. It seems to be maintained at a level conducive to college students, but not their parents.
Radisson at USC is fine for students but except for its location has little to recommend it... the service was almost non-existent and every single floors' soda/ice/water machine was out of order on days that topped 113 in temperature...
Close to USC, also used as a dorm for USC so there were many undergraduates. But housed on different floors so noise not a problem.
"Older hotel, horrible internet access"
An obviously older hotel (carpet was coming up or loose in the room, no central a/c, etc.). Worst of all, internet access (wired) was horrible. Download speeds were worse than phone modem connections!!! Never going back here. Will find another place a little further away.
"Try The Lab"
You don't need to venture far for a great meal and a drink...walk North 200' and you're at The Lab...a Gastropub. Try the braised shortribs and enjoy one of 24 beers on tap!
"Radisson USC-great proximity to campus"
The Radisson was very clean, with a modern and tasteful decor, and the beds, pillows and linens very comfy. Our only regret was that we couldn't enjoy it for a longer period of time. (We went to the two-day USC orientation with my daughter who will be entering in the fall, and so we didn't get to check-in until about 10:30 pm and then out the door by […] 8:00 am for the next day's activities.) It's about a 2 to 3 minute walk to campus, so that was wonderful. However, it wasn't cheap, so if you are economy minded and are going to the USC orientation you may want to choose a less expensive hotel. Lisez la suite
