Il n'y a rien a dire sur l'hôtel en lui même, propre piscine trés agréable, plage de sable fin bien faite. Les trois seuls remarques sont : *le dîner : en avril il ferme tôt, à 21h ils étaient fermés; *le petit déjeuner : pas trouvé de chose simple obligé d'aller dans un vrai resto (enfin nous pensons); *le lieu : il est loin du centre de Laughlin mais […] nous aurions du voir avant sur carte. Confort de bonne qualté equipement piscine etc exceptionnel rapport qualité prix exceptionnel

Nous avions sélectionné cet hôtel pour son prix et ses prestations, mais au final le prix a plus que double a cause des taxes. Ce n'est pas un hôtel de standing, cannette de bière dans les couloirs de l'hôtel, qqs clients un peu souls, fast food en bas des ascenseurs, casino bruyant et pas très propre, etc... J'ai bien aimé l'ensemble. L'hôtel/casino est idéalement situé pour une étape, à 20km de Laughlin et donc ca fait 40 km de moins A/R a faire pour repartir sur la route du Grand Canyon en venant de L.A. J'ai bien aimé aussi le jaccusi près de la piscine en arrivant. Suffisamment grand pour y aller en petit groupe (5/6 personnes) sans "gêner" d'autres […] personnes. Le parking est vaste, e petit déjeuner n'est pas inclus mais on peut acheter "a emporter" à l'entrée de l'hôtel pour 3 ou 4 dollars. Dans notre cas, c'était une étape alors on a pris le petit dej dans la voiture sur la route. Typical casino resort - best quality was the swimming pool and beach area on the river. Limited dining facilities though the 2 for 1 buffet was above average.

I got a great deal on a room for three nights, so I can't afford to be too picky. However, my impression is that housekeeping and other standards have been lowered since the resort was built. It was obvious that my room had not been vacuumed after the previous guest left, and the halls were in similar condition. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign, which […] was a problem, as I was there primarily for R&R, but a very nice housekeeper gave me one. The bed and bath were clean, but the bathtub dripped ALL the time. They gave me a smoking room, although I had requested non-smoking, and did not tell me. Even the pillows smelled of smoke. The buffet was excellent, but very crowded, and again I was seated in the smoking section, despite requesting non-smoking. Food and service in the coffee shop were uneven; sometimes great, sometimes not. When I had car trouble, the valet gave me some advice about where to park, which was appreciated. So it was a mixed bag, but I am not inclined to stay there again. Lisez la suite

We were traveling through, and needed a place pretty last-minute. My daughter and baby granddaughter and I wanted a comfortable place to just hang out after a long driving day. It was everything we wanted! Spacious room, good service. We didn't use the casino, but got some take-out food from Feathers restaurant and it was very good. Especially liked […] having the valet service to the locked and patrolled parking structured, and bellman to take bags to the room! They were having a HUGE Harley-Davidson rally in Laughlin, and it was fun to see and hear all the bikes. We did NOT hear them from our room, however, which was nice. It was a fine place to stay. We attempted to check in at 2:00pm - was told that there were no clean rooms but if I want to upgrade my room they had a room for me otherwise come back at 4:00pm. Receptionist was very rude. I will not be back to this place.......

The Avi is a little jewel in the desert. It's quiet and clean. The pool area is very beautiful. Great music mix, poolside. We absolutely loved it. We even stayed an extra day 'cause we didn't want to leave!

The Avi is a very good value for the money Sun to Thur. In addition it has a secured parking lot that is locked and patrolled at night, a big advantage if you have a vehicle with a soft top like a convertible or Jeep and are worried about your vehicle getting broken into.

Good price, Good Hotel, Great Food. We have stayed at the Avi several times over the last few years and have never been disapointed. Whether we are laying by the swimming pool or on the beach, jet skiing on the river, visiting the cinemas, eating in the restaurants, occasionally losing in the casino and now taking advantage of the kids club, It caters […] for our every need. Only a couple of hours drive from Las Vegas, we find Laughlin and in particular the Avi is much more family friendly and with the good Nevada weather it makes a good choice for a short break to escape the UK winter. the pool was the only thing good about this hotel, front desk workers were horrible my room was not ready, they were going to put us in a smoking room and my child has ashma so would i stay here again? NO, just because of the front desk horrible customer service.......

Stayed at the Avi on the night of April 4, 12. Booked a riverview room with the intention of seeing the river. However, I ended up on the first floor with a view of the pool. Room was clean. Casino was somewhat small. Staff was friendly for the most part. If your going to Laughlin, stay on the Laughlin strip, not enough stuff to do at the secluded  […] Avi. Lisez la suite

Very smokey

I was not impressed with Avi. Been to Laughlin a few times now, saw that Avi was priced a good bit higher than other area hotels, so I figured it would be nicer. I was wrong. Avi was in my opinion worse than Tropicana, Aquarius, Colorado Belle, and was twice as expensive. Place reaked of smoke smell everywhere. AC units in the room were loud. Casino […] was small. Dealers were nice, but not always the most knowledgeable, and I am referring to rules of the games they were dealing, not on world politics. Location was horrible. Pool and beach were nice, but not nice enough to make up for all the other stuff. Bottom line is they charge a premium for Laughlin standards, but do not deliver a premium product. Lisez la suite

As usual, had a great stay at the AVI. Brought friends who had not been there and they were very happy with the surroundings. No complaints what-so-ever.

Loved the pool area.. You really feel like your in a resort. However, they charge u fir everything, even the pool towels, the rooms were old as well as the AC unit.

Number of problems throughout this stay 1. reserved a riverview room, which we supposedly were in, which had a view of the trash containers and parking lot. No river in site. 2. Only 1 towel when we arrived had to call and wait almost an hour and a half for towels. 3. blow dryer was broken, instead of replacing it they sent 2 service men to sit there […] and work on a blow dryer for 30 mins. and ultimately never got it working. 4. broken shower faucet, that dripped the entire night. This place is perfect for us. Next week, we're going back to Laughlin and will stay for 5 days at Avi. We like this place...

Best property on the river bar none......gorgeous pool, fun for the kids, away from the crowds, staff very friendly restaurants delicious, beach unbelievable! I love the AVI!!

Do not stay at this hotel if you are a non-smoker who is sensitive to smoke. Even though we were on a non-smoking floor there are smokers everywhere and even the elevators smell of smoke. If you want to go to the pool or restaurants you have to walk through the smoky casino. The room was comfortable and clean. Nice resort, with fantastic pool! A little far from Laughlin but that was fine. At least a 15 minute drive, but Gilligans Pub is halfway and you can get a pint for a buck. Our only real complaint was the pillows, too small for a king size bed and they dont supply bigger ones. The room service kept trying to clean our room at 9 am, and if we had the […] do not disturb sign up we were usually missing a few refills when they finally got to clean it. Although, one call to the front desk, and the problem was rectified right away. The food deals are awesome! Great food and great selection. $0.99 Breakfast and $0.99 beer and hotdog or shrimp cocktail every day! Drinks are free if you are gambling, but the service was painfully slow and if you complain, the waitresses get attitude. Best to order 2 at a time. Lisez la suite

While away from the Laughlin "strip," it was clean, comfortable, and had a lot of amenities. I would definitely go back.

Avi was a cheap and fun experience for a quick weekend getaway. The Moonlight Grille was excellent. However, the hotel puts a $100.00 hold on your credit card during check in which takes a while to drop off. We will return next year.
