Hôtel agréable et situé dans un site magnifique (lave, tortues, marae (site religieux). Point négatif, le petit déjeuner est de mauvaise qualité et manque de tables pour nous accueillir tous .

très bon accueil dans ce B&B tenu par un couple de retraités. Ils nous donnent d'excellents conseils sur la région: plages de toutes sortes, sélection de restaurants, sites culturels. Un excellent petit déjeuné cuisiné nous est servi.

Ce n'est pas vraiment un hôtel mais un grand ensemble de bâtiments à 3 niveaux comportant des appartements. J'ai choisi le prix de base et ne regrette pas. Après un accueil assez froid à la réception, j'ai découvert mon hébergement : cuisine toute équipée (vaisselle, four, micro ondes, plaques, lave vaisselle, machine à laver, évier), salon avec canapé, fauteuils, table basse, table à manger 4 places, grand balcon, 2 salles de bain, grande chambre avec lit très confortable. La première plage est à 5 minutes à pied. Ce n'est pas la plus belle pour la baignade mais c'est un bon spot de snorkeling. Voiture indispensable pour les commerces et les activités, à moins que vous ne préfériez choisir les activités proposées par l'hôtel.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet hotel, qui présente l'avantage d'être au calme, à côté d'un parcours de golf. Très belle cuisine américaine avec tout ce qu'il faut. Le coin barbecue est très agréable pour faire ses grillades.

"Castle Kpona Bali Kai"
We arrived about 11:30PM and there was no one there at the desk. After looking around we found a sign that said to pick up for late check in. The person who answered the call was not familiar with the hotel and could not tell us where are building was, just that it was across the street. The building were poorly marked but we eventually found our room. […] It was not to clean and out dated. Fortunately we only there one night. It was right on the main street and very noisy. "Just great"
Loved it. Although we were not on the ocean side, it was still just fine. We could use the pool and go over and watch the sunset.
"Barely as advertised"
"Partial ocean view" actually means "you can see some waves if you look down a walking path, past a building, across a street and under another building". "Queen or King bed" only referred to the pull out sofa as the bed in the bedroom was a double. "A/C in unit" worked great for the living room and kitchen area, but the bedroom (with the small bed) […] was sweltering even when the rest of the place was freezing. The grounds were nice and the jacuzzi was relaxing. It's a bit pricey and pretty far south of downtown Kailua-Kona. Also, we checked in late and were told to pick up the phone by the front. We pulled up to the locked gate and I stuck my arm through the gate to fumble for the phone. Eventually a woman picked up and took about 15 minutes to find my reservation (booked a few weeks in advance). She finally found my reservation and listed my room number, building number, and lockbox combo. I confirmed these numbers with her and it ended up that she told me and confirmed with me the wrong room number (117 instead of 171). She didn't know where we should park or any other info. We wandered a bit until a security guard helped us. We found a parking spot sort of near our building but someone was parked in our room's reserved spot (once we figured out our correct room number). Not worth the price or hassle. Also, based on other negative reviews of this property I bet someone representing the hotel will respond to my comment with backpedaling and excuses. Lisez la suite
"Yes,It's right on the Beach"
We stayed across the street from the hotel and pool the room had a full Kitchen The bed's Mattress was uncomfortable No maid service You had to PAY for clean towels!!! I'll stay somewhere else.
"Kona Bali Kai Honeymoon"
My wife and I stayed at the property for 1 night while traveling the island. We had an ocean-front room and it was very nice. The staff was also very nice and we absolutely enjoyed our stay.
