Bonne impression de l'hôtel. 2 séjours de 2 jours chacun et à chaque fois, un personnel gentil, serviable et prêt à nous aider. Le service de taxi affilié à l'hôtel est performant et rassurant.

It was good in general, but the internet service at the room was not ok; there was no control for the tv, and when I asked for it, they asked me to leave a deposit of 100 mexican pesos for the control!! very strange! door bell persons and at the reception were very kind and helpfull with information about the city.
Old - needs renovation
"Hotel Imperial, Reforma"
Rather shabby hotel with very tired staff, especially the front desk girl Senorita Pamela
"Good Rooms Awesome Restaurant"
This is a great and inexpensive hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. the room was insanely spacious. The restaurant was AMAZING as was the service. They served a Spanish Style cuisine. The hotel was located at Paseo De La Reforma. This avenue is an avenue that the governement spends a lot of money on because of its historical reference. It is […] a 10 minute walk to the center of Mexico City where all the historical stuff is at. Well worth the walk. If you take the cab you will be missing out. The only issue with the Hotel was a cracked bathtub. But other than that it was great stay. Lisez la suite

"Excellent Hotel"
No doubt, one of the best options to stay close to Mexico City Zocalo and Reforma Avenue. We did a very good choice
"Potential to improve"
This is a charming old hotel from 1920 which can be 4 or even 5 stars Hotel but is managed & maintained at 3 stars or lower. I killed 3 little Cockroaches in my room! and found peculiar spots on my bed sheet; although, I believe, it was clean. The room carpet looked disgusting. Some lights did not work and the little refrigirator in the room was not […] functional. The cleaning service was excellent. Lisez la suite

"Hotel Imperial Reforma, Mexico City"
This grand hotel was once the home of president Porfirio Diaz and is gracefully ageing. You cannot beat the location if you plan to visit el centro historico. The bus system is great to go to Polanco and the museo de antropologia and el castillo de chapultepec. The breakfast buffet is pretty good too!
The hotel was in a great location, safe and over it was great. There was no Wifi. Services was not that great at restaurant & when you left a bad tip due to service they did not like it. Most receptionist where nice except for one or two that where not that helpful. I think she did not like my style. I would stay there again next year just foe the convince […] & price. Lisez la suite
"Very good deal for the money spent"
Very nice location, in a safe and good area at about 4 min to the metro. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but not included in the room price. Being close to the main boulevard it gets very noisy all night long and this was a problem expecially because the windows did not close very good. Overall a good experience but if I stay […] there again I would choose a room not on theside of the paseo de la reforma boulevard. Anyway a very good deal for the money spent. Lisez la suite

"Good if you want to stay close"
There were many positive things about our stay at Hotel Imperial Reforma. The staff was attentive and the quality of the room was nice, enough comfort if you're going to be gone all day exploring the city. The noise from the AM traffic will drive you crazy if you don't wake up by 8AM. We spent the entire day out so our mornings usually started from […] 9-10. The beds are not amazingly comfortable, they're just alright. We watched some tv in the evenings and that was fine, many channels, local news, etc. The location is about 7 blocks from the subway and is pretty safe to walk through. The hotel offers a taxi service that is supposed to be super secure but it's more expensive that the regular taxis. I would take a Radio Taxi service which is cheaper and just as safe. The hotel also offers breakfast/lunch buffets but considering how cheap the city food is this was never worth it for us. The hotel is beautiful from the outside, it just needs to update the rooms some. Overall, I'd recommend if you're on a budget and want to stay close to downtown. (You can talk a long walk to the Zocalo, the center of the city) Otherwise, I'd opt for a nicer hotel. Lisez la suite

"Hotel Imperial Reforma - Economical for Business"
I'm on a budget for business, and the Imperial Reforma puts me where I need to be in the Financial District for a reasonable price. My parameters are clean, hot water, internet service, and a good price. I don't demand much else, and you get much else than that here. If you can't afford the Marriott a few blocks away, this is a good alternative.
"Economy on Paseo de la Reforma"
I'm a US businessman that's recently started a company and I do work in Mexico. In my past Fortune 100 life I stayed in Hiltons, Mariotts, etc. Being economy focused for cash flow considerations, I chose to use hotels.com to book my hotel, and since many of my clients are near Reforma in the Financial District, I chose the Imperial Reforma Hotel,. I […] received a rate of about 1/3 of what I used to pay at the big chains, so a very considerable savings. The the Imperial is an old hotel, but it has good bones, and two restaurants. The staff is courteous, and the rooms are dated, but clean. The beds aren't as comfortable as the big chains, but given the price, I'm not complaining - after all, I'm here to work not sleep. The showers have good pressure and the water is hot. The internet service is likely superior to that at the big chains, and that is a big plus for me. In all, if you don't need the prestige of a big hotel, and are in for business, or pleasure, I highly recommend this affordable hotel. Lisez la suite
"Perfect for Mexico City"
Everything was great. Got a great rate, great service, 2 blocks away from the Hidalgo Metrobus and Metro. Right across the street from the monumento de la Revolucion.
"Good hotel for the price"
This hotel has a helpful staff, large comfortable rooms and is fairly close to the zocalo. It is also a safe neighbourhood to walk around in.
"Hotel Imperial Reforma, Mexico City"
This centrally located hotel greets you with an impressive and majestic lobby. Reception staff are courteous and knowledgeable. They greeted me by name as I entered the establishment. Room was CLEN and spacious. Table lamps all in need of simple repairs. French doors to small balcony a nice touch. Main floor restaurant above average. Buffet downstairs […] totally pedestrian...menu selection boring and quality of food average. I absolutely will stay there again and recommend it to my traveling friends. Lisez la suite
"Great bargain"
This hotel was a great bargain and very centrally located to spots like the Alameda Central, Zona Rosa and Bosque de Chapultepec. It's an older hotel, but that adds to the charm. We had a room on Floor 1 (in Mexico, there's the ground floor and the next floor up is the first floor), only the first floor and the top floor have balconies, so I was happy […] that we got one. The hotel is old, so some things seem not as clean as in a newer hotel, for instance, the carpet. Also, we were located right above the bar, so our room tended to get smokey. But the shower was nice, with a deep tub, the air conditioning worked well and again, the balcony was a plus. We didn't rent a car, but it appeared that there was a garage you could park in. There is a convenience store right next door that sells snacks and other items you might need. And the lobby was beautiful. We would definitely stay there on our next trip! Lisez la suite

Very friendly employees. Nice restaurant to have breakfast or lunch. Good location to many of the places we frequent.
"Great location but very very old hotel"
The building (from outside) is gorgeous but inside you will be totally dissapointed.. is very old hotel with very very old furniture (a couple of lamps never worked). The service is slow and very limited, due to this the price is high compared with others in the zone.
The Hotel Imperial Reforma is handy to a lot of landmarks and is within walking distance to the Centro Historico. There are also a lot of interesting neighborhoods near by.
"Hotel Imperial Reforma in Mexico City"
The hotel was great, lobby clean and beautiful , the room was clean , but there is no AC and the window really tiny , really tiny. the bed is actually the same with all hotels in mexico city, solid hard . but other then that it was great .
"Elegance in decline"
Hotel Imperial was supposedly a hot spot for Diego and Frida. It struck me a as place that was once splendid but has gone through a slightly boring rennovation and then left to gather dust. The lobby is still very lovely but the pianist plays for tables of empty seats. The staff were a mixed bag with some unhelpful people but also some that were very […] outgoing and friendly. Still, it is a much more fun place to stay than a boring chain hotel for the same or higher price. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Reforma"
Generally my problems with the Hotel Reforma are the same as with many hotels in other places, so I am not picking on this particular hotel. 1. The bed although it is a king size, was not particularly comfortable. It was too hard and a little lumpy. On the plus side, the bed was made up very nicely every day. 2. There never seems to be enough places […] to set the suitcases. We had four suitcases and there was only a place to set one. I had to use the bedside table for this purpose.Alternately , I would like some drawers to put my stuff in so it is readily available. We stayed 7 days so that would have been handy. There was plenty of closet space for my formal clothes but much of my wardrobe is casual and does not require hanging. 3. Typically there is never enough room around the sink to set all my shaving stuff, contact lens solution, shaving kit, plus all my gf's stuff. In our room it was adequate, but we did see another room in the hotel that was not, so my guess is that it is not a standard consideration. Lisez la suite
"hotel imperial reforma - good hotel but cheap"
good hotel, cheap hotel for the area, next to more expensive ones, near to all the attactions and eating area, also save because of the large police presence.

"Imperial Reforma...centrally Located"
The hotel is well located and very close and accessible to public transportation. The rooms are decent, but room service takes tooo long, you can not open windows, and the air condition works average. Another problem is that your can hear the loud (i believe its the ac condenser) airconditioner noise in the night from the roof. Its ok for the money […] . Lisez la suite
"Hotel Imperial Reforma Mexico City - excellent"
An elegant, historic hotel - built 1905 - near the main areas of interest for a visitor. We stayed here 3 nights, the rate was a great bargain, and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and clean, the breakfast was great and the bar served the best marguerita of the trip. The best thing about this hotel is the architecture, a 1905 exterior […] with a mid century modern interior. It's fabulous. A++ P.S. we read the reviews before we came, mostly all good, they are right, but it's even better than reported. Lisez la suite

"hotel Imperial Reforma in Mexico city"
I was very impressed with the hotel and the friendly staff. They were very helpful with everything including helping me with getting a phone card for long distance. The hotel was clean and inviting.
"Hotel Imperial is walking distance to many sights!"
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and the location was awesome, right on Reforma. It's about 15 minutes walking to the Zocalo and Bellas Artes. The closest metro station is about a 10 minute walk. Our room was huge bigger than most hotels in Mexico. I recommend this hotel for convenience and a great price.
rooms are very noisy because the hotel is located at a major road in the city. Otherwise clean and nice rooms.
"Well located, good service, old building"
The hotel has a good location and is clean. Service is also good - but they don't have adaptors for your chargers - remember to bring! It is in a nice and old building. As consequence, room, furniture and bathroom are old too. At the end has a good cost- benefit balance.
"Hotel Imperial in Mexico City"
The location is excellent. The Paseo de la Reforma is the main boulevard in Mexico City, and the hotel is also near the Zona Rosa, the Alameda, the Monumento a la Revolucion. Even the zocalo is only about a 25 minute walk. The hotel itself is pretty nice. The rooms are kept clean, though the ac and refrigerators work better in some rooms than in others. […] Internet connections were spotty. An excellent bargain. Lisez la suite

"Very good bargain. Hotel employees are very friendly and helpful."
I find this hotel very comfortable and hotel employees very helpful. A perfect location for my daughter and myself. Often the Reforma de la Paseo is closed, but access to the hotel from the side street always seems to be available.
"big rooms!"
very nice hotel for price excellent location
