The Glenmore Inn & Convention Centre - Calgary

Trés bon hôtel, trés bon rapport qualité prix. Seul chose a redire l'emplacement par rapport au centre ville : situé à 15 mn et pas pratique du tout, surtout avec la trés grande circulation d'une ville comme Calgary. Trop éloigné

The people there are warm and friendly and the location works for me. The rooms need an upgrade to keep my attention for frequent or extended stays.

The tower rooms are great!

I extended the stay in the hotel for extra night. Nice and clean. Good price.

The Hotel is much better than i expected, big rooms and clean. People are very friendly and helpful. The price was very good. The hotel building is old, but well maintained. There are two restaurants next to the hotel also there are some good restaurants inside the hotel. The swimming pool is nice and clean.

Nice clean room. Great restaurant. 30 seconds from Deerfoot Trail (main freeway).

The hotel wasn't fancy but it was in a convenient location, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and had everything we needed. It's not the first time I've stayed there and probably will again in the future. The price vs value is good.

Excellent value for your money. Has a lot of amenities and rooms were clean, restaurant food was very good and our kids enjoyed the pool. We will definately stay here again.

We were looking for an Eastern hotel so we could hit the highway early and this fit the bill. The room was huge and comfortable. Affordable too! This might be a little out of your way if you want to head to the mountains or shop downtown but it really fit the bill for us.

Hotel is very clean and quiet - would definetly stay here again - price is right - so cant complain about the distance away from everything!

The hotel was very nice, clean too. But the service was excellent! Staff was courteous, and very helpful. The location of the hotel is somewhat far away from malls/areas of interest. So if you don't have a vehicle or don't like taxis, probably not for you. If you have one though its definitely a great choice. The lounge was great too!

The staff was friendly, the room was clean. I felt at home with my new flat screen. All in all it was good value for the money.

If you don't expect the flavour of the town or any special things in walking distance - stay here and you get a good and fair hotel to stay for some nights.

This is a very basic hotel. Yes, it has a restaurant and bar and seems to have a lot of action going on, but it was very basic in it's room furnishings. Pillows were old and flat, decor was old and worn, bathroom had mold in the tub area, TV was basic with no pay-per-view. Not close to downtown or anything for that matter. Although it was a 1 night stay we were pleasently surprised with the overall look, comfort and location of the Glenmore Inn. We would definitely return and would recommend the hotel to others.

Great stay, service in dining room could have been better

easy access to all amenities we required. It is close to downtown. It is close to Heritage Park (a wonderful place to visit and see our heritage; the way people used to farm and live.)

Nice clean place. However wireless internet was poor as service cut in and out.

Great spot if you're onthe South end of town. Clean, friendly, free parking, nice lounge and lots of alternative foodservice on the same property.

The room was clean, staff friendly and helpful. The pool and waterslide were well maintained. We had a snack platter from the lounge that was very good and you got lots for the money. Overall a good stay. Also it is only about a 3 minute drive to Chinook Centre for shopping.

I was given a room in the "older" part of the hotel - the bed needed to be updated!! I have stayed in the newer wing and know that there is better out there. Re the location - I stayed for ease of travel out of town and not for the local attractions. Arrived at 9:pm, the staff was prompt and friendly, and quickly corrected my reservation when I noticed the mistake. The tower rooms are much nicer compared to the garden ones and are non-smoking. The hotel is older but has been fairly well maintained. Our room was clean and quiet. The hotel staff were very professional and helpful. We ate three meals in the hotel and the food was good and reasonably priced. Food costs in Calgary are very expensive, but the hotel was not. We would stay there again.

Hotel does not look very impressive from outside but it's a very nice hotel when you walk in. Good restaurant and lunch/dinner buffet every day. Really Enjoyed the stay!

Good quality stay, discount at hotel .com was significant enough to allow us to stay there. Clean and reasonable.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and have always found the to be clean and the staff courteous. On this trip, I was surprisingly upgraded to the tower rooms instead of the room I selected. Staff in all areas were very good. Food soso. Small retail mall surrounding hotel was unacceptable. Dirty, garbage everywhere. recycling bins overflowed and homeless people bothering you etc. Hotel should start to provide bath towels that actualy cover yopu body. I am very slim. Taxi service outside the hotel rip you off. Prepaid a $35.00 cab for a […] friend. Ride was only $26.00. Driver dropped bags at bus depot and was gone before she could say boo. Ordered cab for myself. Gave driver address/google map. He got lost. Ended back at the hotel. Driver called my destination to get instructions. Driver expected that I should pay for his driving around. My destination was straight down the road from the hotel. Less than 10KM. Air condtioning could not be controlled. Like an ice box. Hall ways just as bad. Elevator slow. Computer service in lobby terrible. WiFi worked and did not work in hotel. Had I not prepaid my accomadtions I would have checked out the next day. Not a pleasant stay what so ever. Will never recommend ever. Was rated as a 3 1/2 star. Should be reviewed. If you are looking for swanky...this is hotel is not for you but if you are looking for a clean, quiet, easily accessible, affordable hotel, this is the place. I found the all the staff, from front desk to housekeeping to be very friendly! Any future stays I have in Calgary will be at this hotel for sure. hotel staff generally were abrupt and rude. beds were not comfortable. deceptive advertizement of wi-fi internet, which was only for premier suites. location was not good. room was clean and well maintained.

Our stay at this hotel was great. The room was comfortable and as other reviewers said - the food is delicious and the portions are large.

My kids and I stayed here three nights on vacation and the money we saved made it possible to see the sights. It was handy to Deerfoot Trail, which took us where we needed to go. Rooms weren't fancy, but comfortable and clean. Would have enjoyed an exterior view, but no big whoop. Would stay there again.

Though it doesn't look like much on the outside and the surrounding neighbourhood isn't the best, the hotel was lovely - much nicer than expected, clean and comfortable (except the bed was not great). Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good (my special request for something not on the menu was accommodated) and the buffet dinner was […] excellent and very good value. There was a curly hair on the bathroom counter which happens. Front desk service was good they allowed us to swim with our children an extra half hour after closing which was really good. The rooms seemed really dry and stuffy. The pool floor needs refinishing.

It would be very hard to give more value for my money. It was clean, friendly staff, nice little lounge and resteraunts, a few handy stores in the same plaza( liquor, convienence)( chinese, indian, and columbian resteraunts), and a ten dollar cab ride to the Deerfoot Casino. This is going to be the place I always stay when I visit Calgary...

We stayed at this hotel recently. There were 12 of us 6 adults and 6 kids. We went swimming both nights we stayed, the kids had a blast on the water slide. We ate at both resturaunts, breakfast at the cafe was great. We ate dinner at the cafeteria area and it was very good the children's menu was very reasonable. The down side is the location, we went […] to the zoo and Calaway park and it took us over an hour to get to Calaway due to all the construction along the way. We were scared to enter the hotel based on the looks of the exterior. Once in the halls and lobby areas looked nice which was comforting. Then we got to the room...blankets, sheets, pillows, mattresses were so old, tattered and stinky it was kind of gross. We threw everything but the sheets on the floor before sitting on them. We arrived at the hotel after traveling for 8 plus hours, so we were ready to relax. The location and outside of the hotel do not do it justice. The rooms were very large, clean and comfortable. The beds, although a little on the firm side, allowed us a restful sleep. The hotel had a nice, reasonably priced restaurant on site and a great indoor pool […] with a waterslide for kids.
