Luckily, the first thing that happened was not a precursor to the rest of my visit to Greenville. It was chilly in the room when I arrived and I put up the heat and - immediately - the smoke alarm went on! Super loud and annoying, and there was a smell of smoke to boot! I wasn't sure if there was an electrical short somewhere in the heating system or […] not. I plugged my ears up for a couple of minutes and then the shrill roar ceased. Since nothing appeared to be wrong (in a dangerous way), I decided to stay in that room. The area was pretty quiet, the people around me were not loud or inconsiderate, and I was able to get to my conference in just a few minutes from the hotel. I was a little annoyed by the fact that there were no little bottles of shampoo, conditioner or lotion to be seen, which was a first for me in a hotel stay. The hotel is in a great location. I stayed just to have a peace of mind. My room was very spacious but the bathroom could have been cleaner and the room was a little old looking but overall it was ok.

I was pleasantly surprised. We had dogs and there was an open field behind the motel that was perfect for walking. The receptionist was most helpful and had a great attitude. However, hotel.com disconnected me four times when I tried to get a refund for a double charge. I will stay in this motel again.

No Elevator And No Body To Help Yu After Work Hours, Good Luck Cause You Are On Your Own.

The room was clean and comfortable which are the most important features to me. Staff was not available around the clock but I respect the attempt to save money and passing the savings along to customers. The hotel was clean comfortable and reasonably priced. That is what I want when spending a limited amount of time at a hotel.

When we arrived in the room there were dirty towels in the bathroom and trash on the floor.

Overall our stay was nice. Very quiet inside and outside the buidling. I loved having the shopping center with a grocery store close by. My husband and I are senior citizens and have some physical limitations. Stairwells are on each end of this very long building. When we checked-in, the hotel staff immediately informed us that there was no elevator. This motel had everything we needed. It was pet friendly, had a courteous staff and a kitchen unit. It's not the Ritz, but for the price we paid we were very happy!

It is pet friendly..did not like dogs barking in the morning..when trying to sleep..but otherwise nice place to stay..

This hotel was perfect! It was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the customer service was outstanding! Everyone was nice and helpful. I forgot coat hangers and front desk searched around and found some for me! They are not normal hotel, in that not available 24 hours...but who needs that? They are staffed til 10pm. We utilized the kitchen and shopped at Foodlion…right around corner…. and cooked dinner. I will absolutely be back and tell all of my friends about it if going to be in that area! Room was nice, staff was very helpful, would stay here again, The price was great.

It was convenient for our needs,shopping ,food and business was in range. would use them again.

This was my second stay at Home-Towne Suites. We have been very satisfied each time and plan to stay again the next time we are in Greenville, NC. It is in a great location for our visits and the staff is always very nice. The Suites are always very clean.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Would recommended it to my friends and stay their again.

It is in a convenient location to ECU & shopping. There were a few problems like the one unit on the stovetop had the wrong size drip pan which made it loosen the element and therefore not useable. Great place to stay, close to all ballfields we were playing at and lots of choices for eating out. Will stay again!

Most important is that the hotel staff leave at 10pm, so if you need to check in after 10pm, it may be tricky. I called ahead, and there is a process of securing access, but you must call ahead to do this easily. The rooms was clean and I did not see any insects of any kind which is all I wanted. The beds are not the most comfortable, and the sheets […] are worn, but at the price I paid per night, I was satisfied. Great location to hospital, and there is a strip mall across the street with a grocery store which was very convenient (hotel did not supply shampoo, so a quick run to Food Lion was not too bad). It's much like an extended stay hotel so if you dont mind contractors staying there its great for the money. Nice area. Only problem I had was we didnt get new towels over the weekend. Bring your blow dryer, shampoo etc which is not provided.

The hotel manager was unfriendly. The check-in and check-out procedures were not explained on the website or by manager. Items were missing out of room such as television remote and broken chair and light on wall. Parking spaces were limited to lots of contractors and builders staying there. Good for extended stay guests. Very friendly and helpful staff. Office not alway open. Although small, room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Good location for access to hospital patients, but not that convenient for other Greenville activities.

Currently I am in a wheelchair. As a result, I had to search for a handicap accessible hotel in Greenville, NC. After many frustrating calls, I got a staff member on the phone at Howetowne Suites that was more than gracious. He answered all of my questions about whether there was a roll in shower in the handicap accessible rooms as well as room sizes, […] etc. Once it was booked and we got up there, I was pleased with not only the hotel staff but the room as well. They were very friendly and accommodating. Even though there were contractors staying at the hotel (because it's an extended stay hotel), I would never have known. In fact the only way I knew is all the trucks outside. It was quiet in the evenings and really even during the day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing something similar! Lisez la suite
