This hotel was horrible. First they charge $9.75 fee hotels.com doesn't tell you about. Beds are uncomfortable,rooms are tiny and not the cleanest not updated.we have 4 people in our room we get 3 towels and washclothes when we went to ask for more so everyone could shower they told us to bring dirty ones down in exchange for clean ones. Ugh. The pool […] is right outside our door (outside pool) it is open till 1am the hotel was filled with college kids so parties outside the door till wee hours of the night,next morning when leaving room have to step over cig butts and beer cans. I really enjoyed my stay. When I checked the female attendant was extremely friendly and polite. on our first night the room was hot and we had to purchase a fan to cool down. it was the second day before it was comfortable. Other than that I would very much be happy to come back to the hotel.

The location was perfect. Wasnt right on the beach but the next closest. Hotel was over-all good. If I had to complain about it at all was their "breakfast" wasnt worth a dime. SO if you want a hotel with that this is not the one to get but if it doesnt bother then stay here. I booked this hotel, despite the bad reviews, because I was on a budget. When I checked in, I had booked a smoking room. The room they gave me had an open condom wrapper in the drawer, no ashtrays, and a non-smoking sign. The guy told us to change rooms. The second room also had no ashtrays, and a non-smoking sign, but the guy just took away the sign, […] and didn't give us an ashtray. The room was pretty bad. The TV barely worked (they gave us a new one the next day), and we found a nail on the floor, which means they did a horrible job vacuuming. One of the lights by the beds didn't work, which they never fixed. Nothing was plugged in, so we had to go around and plug in all the lights ourselves. The worst part was that we had a room with two beds, and the beds are sleep number beds, which must be plugged in. The outlet near the beds had only two plugs, which means that we had to make a choice between the beds, the light and the clock. I guess they expect people to sit in the dark if they want to use the beds. The cable TV was fuzzy, and didn't get all the channels that were listed on the TV card, and there were no a/v hookups. The WiFi was out for the first day, but they did fix it. The only good thing about this place was the location. Most of the staff was friendly, except for the guy that checked us in. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, because it is run down, poorly maintained, and dirty. Lisez la suite

Was the second straight year we stayed during the Myrtle Beach Bike Rally. Had a good experience there. Quiet rooms, plenty of parking available, within walking distance to Family Kingdom, clean pool, and GREAT rates considering the time of year. We ended up switching hotels! After the hotel was paid in full, the woman at the front desk informs us that since we are under 25 that we need to put down a cash deposit of $200 ($100 per person). Most hotels collect your card information just in case there are damages, but I have never heard of a place wanting such a large CASH deposit. That just screamed […] bad news to me. The area is far from the safest on the strip. We were uncomfortable and were treated like we had a third eye because we told them that we were not comfortable leaving so much cash as a deposit. We were given a list of rules that we had to obide by in order to receive our money back (no yelling, no complaints, no damagaes, etc.) Knowing that we went down on bike week when there is a lot going on, it would be so easy for something to be blamed on us when we had nothing to do with it, just so they could keep that cash. The outside on approach looked like a dump. Trash in walkways junky looking over all, but we were pleasantly surprised at the room it was clean and nicely furnished with more amenities then expected. we had asked for a smoking room and ended up with a non smoking room. yhe room smelled bad.... the house keeper did not clean the room the whole time we were there ..... i wish i would of spent the extra money to get a better room. i do not recommend the hotel to anyone

The door to the room did not seal when closed. there was a 3/4 inch gap in the bottom half of the door. the refrigerator door did not seal correctly. the heater/ac motor bearing was in dire need of replacement and sounded like a diesel motor. Maintenance was constantly working on different rooms.

Beds were uncomfortable. Young kids running up and down the halls at 2:30am screaming, our first night there a girl threw up beside our door. We had to dodge it to leave our room. The hotel management was no help whatsoever. They were very rude and didn't like the fact we were complaining about multiple things there so they didn't take us seriously. […] Our tub had a very slow drain, so slow that my shower time was cut short otherwise I would of flooded the bathroom and my husband didn't even get a shower the first day there because the tub didn't drain for a long time and they didn't send anyone to fix it till later on in the day. There were plenty of other hotels around this one with the same rates which was even more upsetting to us after we seen the trouble we had at this hotel. Again...the presentation on line seems like it will probably be ok, but in person it was a very disappointing experience. When I arrived, I looked around at all the places surrounding the Days Inn with vacant, and immediately left like I wanted to cancel my reservation and go elsewhere! I stuck it out because for the amount I paid, I figured, "You get […] what you paid for." Although, I have to say the actual room was clean...thank goodness, or I would have just asked for my money back and walked. The lights didn't turn on when I came into the room. Around the room serveral lights were burned out, and someone had cranked the heat to almost 85 degrees in the room. I don't like Myrtle Beach...it doesn't feel special in anyway every time I've been there (2X/yr for 5 years now to visit my ex and my kids), and this hotel (would you just call it what it is...A MOTEL, because it is not a HOTEL!). Front desk person was cranky at check-in; the bathroom at this property was very much in need of remodeling: black grout between the tiles, toilet was out of level; every faucet dripped. Some redecorating had been done with new bedspreads, but were so thick and stiff that they could stand on their own-not comfortable to use.

ROOM WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. SLEEP NUMBER BEDS THAT WERE BROKEN ON HIGHEST SETTINGS. LIKE SLEEPING ON A ROCK. SHOWER /TUB HAD BEEN HAND PAINTED AND PEELED EVERYWHERE. My fiancée and I took our 7 month old son to the beach and we stayed in this hotel because it was close to the beach and cheap. We were not expecting a lot because it was cheap. We were very pleased to show up to a clean and comfortable room. The staff was very helpful. We got there a few hours before check-in and they got our room cleaned right away […] so we could settle in. They were also very helpful in offering us a crib for our son. When we got into our room the crib was set up and everything. Housekeeping was great as well. However, we found the beds to be very bouncy and a little small for us both to sleep in, the shower would not keep a constant temperature, and breakfast was over at 9:30, which was a little too early for us. Great spot if you want to be close to the beach for cheap. Rooms were ok. Bed was made and trash removed everyday. Not enough parking spots. it was just old and dirty looking, When I got into the shower my feet left black marks because the carpets were so filthy. My husband killed a two inch palmetto bug while I screamed and jumped on the bed. The emploies were very nice, they did the best with what they had. It needs a major refurb.

I would never go here again for the following reasons: the tv in the room had a very poor picture, the shower did not work properly, the refrgerator was broken, the breakfast was crowded and poor food, the carpet was soiled and other patrons drinking alcohol and hanging out ouside their rooms until 1am kept us awake.
