Quatre nuits très agréables dans cet hôtel au coeur deTokyu. Confort et propreté de la chambre sont au rendez-vous. L'insonorisation est excellente mais insuffisante toutefois dans la journée pour couvrir les animations de Shibuya. Pour un hôtel de cette catégorie, j'invite la direction à offrir une formation à son personnel dans la langue de shakespeare […] et à ses clients un breakfast avec un choix de pains, viennoiseries, fruits et laitages plus large et d'une qualité supérieure. L'entrée de l'hôtel est difficile à trouver (même pour un taxi local) car elle se situe au 5° étage d'un immeuble , petit déjeuner et diner cher, mais des possibilités autour de l'hôtel. Tout le reste était très correct. L'hotel se situe dans une zone d'intense activité dont on peut aisément profiter.

Perfect location. Perfect service (as always in Japan). Unusually large room was a pleasant. Note: I could not connect to the VPN network of my company using the LAN cable Internet.

Il n'y a pas grand chose à redire, toutes les prestations sont d'un très bon niveaux, l'hôtel est propre bien entretenu est parfaitement situé dans le quartier le plus emblématique de Tokyo!!

Cet hotel situe au dessus de la gare de Shibuya, est pratique de par son emplacement. Notre chambre etait spacieuse (et pourtant a la reception, ils ont voulu nous en vendre une plus grande expliquant que celle-ci etait petite) par rapport a d'autres hotels que nous avons fait. Mais ce qui etait le plus impressionnant, c'est la vue depuis la chambre: […] carrefour de Shibuya, parc de yoyogi, et building de Shinjuku. Nous ne nous en lassions pas! Le seul petit hic, c'etait l'internet payant. Un hotel de cet importance devrait disposer d'un guestroom avec des ordinateurs a disposition des clients. Excellent location but expensive for the conmfort. No safe box in room, paid a high price for the quàlity. Pillows are very small n overall minimum comfort. Hotel very strict on check in n check out time. Location very good as opp station n near shopping

The locaiton of this hotel is second to none sitting right above Shibuya station. Super convinent to get to shops, food and the station. The rooms were clean and we had no issues and was a comfortable stay. HOwever a few things meant that we would stay somewhere different: * No wifi and no internet on the TV - other similarly priced hotel offer this. * […] Staff were not that helpful - just felt that other places were a little bit more welcoming * Having stayed in Shinjiku as well, we felt that Shinjiku was more central - we had to go to Shinjiku several times to catch other trains. Stayed here Jan. '12. Great location! Right above Shibuya Mark City, which has several restaurants and shops. Hotel is connected to the Shibuya Station or about a 3-5 min. walk (depending on your pace). It is in the heart of a very busy city. Lots of shopping and dining within walking distance. We stayed in an Excel Twin Rm on the 22nd flr. We had a […] corner room, so it was little large based on Japan standards but we did have to pay some. Bathroom was tiny though but there was a tub. Internet (LAN) free in room. If you forget your converter/adapter, you can borrow from hotel. Hotel is safe. For upper level floors, you need your room key to access the elevator. Lobby is small. No early checkin but you can leave your bags with front desk. One of two stops for the Airport Limosuine (other stop is the Cerulean which isn't in the heart of Shibuya). Overall good hotel. Excellent location with great service, got an upgrade on my booking and the view was great. The entire stay couldn't be better and I'll definitely stay at this hotel again whenever am in Tokyo!

The location of this hotel is fantastic - but we had difficulty locating as the signboard is not visible. Please look out for building "markcity mall". hotel entrance is just near escalator. Hotel is tourist class but paid quite a highprice for location. The pillows are too soft n square.Did not have good sleep at all. Toilet very small - have to do […] a crabwalk to get in. Hotel not flexible on checkin and checkout time. Wanted to charge extra if check in at 10am though room is available. And will check extra if checkout later than 11.30am. This is a highly recommended hotel. The room I stayed in (3 single bed) is big by Tokyo standards. It is very convenient; linked to the Metro via an overhead walkway. We however needed help finding the hotel as the lobby is on the fifth floor of Shibuya Mark City building. They also provide on request (1) cutlery if you decide to eat in and (2) a humidifier […] if you find the air in the room too dry. There are also lots of restaurants and shops around the area; every major chain store is a stones throw away. The airport limousine bus also stops at this hotel. The only downside to the hotel are (1) there are only two lifts and they can get quite busy during peak hours (2) sound of trains running can be heard in the room but they stop running aorund midnight. The location is excellent . very convienence . Wl come back next time . Just if the room provide wireless wifi that wl be perfect .other than that . Everything is good .

I stayed two nights at the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyo in the second week of December. The hotel is a clean and modern business hotel, and I found nothing against it. The trickiest part of my stay was to find my way to the hotel from the Shibuya JR station, as it took me a while to figure out that the hotel building is actually connected to the station […] through overpasses. Just returned from a wonderful Tokyo trip and stayed in Shibuya Excel Hotel, Tokyo. The hotel is wonderfully located as it is right smack in the middle of Shibuya and well connected to the nearby train station and is also directly linked to the Airport Limousine bus terminal. On our way into town from Narita airport, we took the express train to the […] Shibuya train station. It was relatively easy to navigate but we had a slight problem once we reached the Shibuya train station as we kinda got lost finding the correct exit that will link us to the hotel. Instead, we found ourselves wandering around the station looking for the exit and along the way, had to lug our heavy luggages down a few flight of steps as there was no escalators or lift to do so. Once we'd made our way to the hotel, the check in was a breeze. The lobby is pleasantly presented and staff are able to communicate in English well. Do note that there are no porter service, which is not an issue at all. Up we all went to our respective rooms (Mines on the 19th floor) and the corridor to the room is well lit and clean without any stank. There's a free ice machine and a paid vending machine room that sells beers and sodas. Convenient if you ask me. The room is nicely sized for such a hotel and it was clean and pleasant. I had the room with a direct view of the famous Shibuya crossing and it was lovely to be able to have a bird's eye view of the area. The only weird item missing from my room is the safe as I'd asked my friends about it and they both said that their rooms comes with it {They stayed on the 22 and 24th floor) so am not too sure why my room does not come with a safe. There's a decent cafe on the 5th floor (Reception level) that serves decent coffee and cakes. As 1 of my friends have bought a mobile data card to use on his Samsung tablet, he had to call a local Japanese hotline to activate the service and as we needed help with this, we approached the receptionist and was taken aback whe Lisez la suite

Amazing location in the heart of Shibuya..excellent hotel..get a room high up..pricey but worth it..especially if you get a deal. I highly recommend this place and will stay here next time I am in Shibuya

For the Tokyo price, this was a great hotel!! And with 4 travelers, it was nice to find a hotel that could accommodate 4 in one room (difficult to find). And it was spacious at that! In fact, it was very roomy for Japanese hotel standards. perfect place to be, very clean,better than i had hoped for and i will go back to this hotel if i get back to Tokyo.

Excellent location right across from the subway station, and has amazing view over skyline and major crosswalk area, something like times square NYC. Cleanliness of rooms are kept to a very high standard. Consiers are bilingual which helped a lot.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in a quad room ( 4 king single beds) which was perfect for a family of four. The location was perfect right in the heart of Shibuya right near the station.

We can take many trains here. Also, there are a lot of shops so that you can buy breakfast for less than $5 instead of paying $30 at the restaurants of the hotel.

This place is certainly a great option for any stay in Tokyo. The location is amazing and it's a case of you get what you pay for regarding the rooms themselves, expensive but you are getting a very good room. The bed is the highlight, super comfortable! My main issue was the lack of wifi Internet access but this is common in Japan. LAN is available […] if you have a laptop, we had an iPad. Located right next to Shibuya station, and close to shopping and restaurant area, it's very convenient. Rooms are clean with adequate amenities. Will definitely stay there again.

Staying in Shibuya Excel Hotel is the most convenient hotel that I have stayed in Tokyo. It's right at the top of the JR Shibuya station. If you're a shopper, Shibuya Excel Hotel is the one that I'll recommend.

I always liked staying at this hotel because of its location - and quality. Now I LOVE it!!! When the big quake hit Japan, I was there. The hotel staff were calm and well-trained, very kind and considerate.

This is the best hotel location in Shibuya. The lobby elevatator drops you in front of one of the best shopping areas in Tokyo and super convenient to train station. Also near restaurants of all types. Decor in lobby and hallways are good but my room lack the design aspect I was hoping from a hotel in the middle of such a fashion driven neighborhood. […] Room was small, comfortable and clean but design was dull and aged, similar in decor to a dorm room, unlike the Cerulean Hotel. Upside it provides free internet service in rooms. Downside is the hotel does not provide bell service and only carts inside the lobby. If you are traveling with a lot luggage or expect bell service..not be the best hotel choice. If you with one bag and need to be near shops and restauraunts and do not care how rooms are decorated but are super clean..this is a great place to stay. We started by taking the shuttle from Narita. Very easy when we had our bags it was right in front of us and about 3000 yen got us a comfortable ride direct to the hotel (nice after a long flight). Location is best advantage of this hotel, within the centre of Shibuya shopping street, it is the best hotel for shoppers around the world. Facility is reasonable and the condition is clean.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Workers were very helpful and kind. They all speak English. Hotel was right across the train station and very convenient and surrounded by restaurants and shops. If you enjoy night life Shibuya is the place to stay. Lots of people all over night time. Some noodle restaurants open 24 hours so as convenient stores.

We stayed 6 nights at the Shibuya Excel hotel in Tokyo recently in Nov 2010. The location is fantastic - lots of eateries and shopping just outside the hotel, and subway lines just below the hotel. The area is still busy late in the night, and many restaurants are still opened at 10pm, which is not very common in other popular Tokyo areas. Room is […] basic (no frills, but kept very clean). If i could pick 1 area for improvement, would be the availability of TV channels in English. There were only 2 miserable English channels (CNN and BBC World News). All other channels are in Japanese. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff were helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and clean and a good size. It was in a great location close to shopping and restaurants.

The hotel is in the Mark City plaza, a city in itself where it has everything. Mark City is strategically located, you can enter the building from the busy streets of Shibuya. If you like young, hip crowd, Shibuya is the place to be, and Excel Tokyu offers a respite for a place to rest well at night, with excellent staff and services.

Couldn't ask for a better location, right above the Shibuya station. Easy to get to and an amazing amount of services right there. If you don't like crowds go somewhere else as it's a very busy place with the train station and mall. I'd definately stay there again.

This was a great hotel. Spacious (for Japanese standards) room that was very clean and modern with a fantastic view. Conveniently located in the heart of Shibuya makes getting around Tokyo extremely easy. The staff were more than helpful with giving directions and spoke good English. Hotel restaurant prices were abit of a joke so wouldn't eat there […] (especially with so many good restaurants nearby) but the hotel bar was very nice and they make a mean Tom Collins. Very spartan, but good for the rate. Excellent locatin, though the hotel should have had more information about surrounding restaurants for westerners. It was good to be in a mall, at a limo bus stop, close to the subway and rail, so can't beat the location. The other review was correct, there are a lot of people in the area! The Shibuya Excel exceeded our expectations with regards to location. It is actually linked to Shibuya Train station by covered walkways and is a mere 5 minute walk to a number of rail lines including Yamanote and Ginza subway lines. The Narita Express also stops at Shibuya so getting to & from Narita Airport is easy. The hotel is celebrating it's […] 10th anniversary but it is very modern, clean and well maintained. We stayed in a non-smoking, quad room. It was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 13. The room was nicely decorated in neutral, modern colors and the bathroom and toilet was also clean. The only criticism about the room was that the internet cable provided in the room was very short making it awkward to use the cable and watch TV at the same time. The staff at reception are very helpful and speak English very well. I really enjoyed my stay in Shibuya and would not hesitate to book this hotel again. Lisez la suite
